Bryn Derwen - Three Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 4

Bryn Derwen is a modern, detached house located in the small village of Dwgyfylchi, situated at an attractive spot close to the shoreline and the brooding mountains ranges of Eryri National Park - AKA Snowdonia. Approximately half of the village of Dwygyfylchi forms the most northern tip of the National Park, so the cottage is popular with walkers and explorers, as a cosy home-from-home in which to rest after a wonderful day's expedition.

A warm and welcoming property, Bryn Derwen has 3 bedrooms, comprised of two king-sized bedrooms, and one single bedroom. There is a family bathroom on the first floor is equipped with a bathtub, a separate shower, and a toilet. On the ground floor of the house, there is a living room-diner, and a fully-functioning kitchen. These rooms are separate and adjacent to one another, but are allowed to intertwine neatly through a large open cutaway in the wall that connects the rooms together. There is also utility room, a small breakfast room, and a shower room with a WC just off the utility that complete the downstairs facilities. Each room is bright and lovingly crafted for complete enjoyment, no matter which room of the house you are in.

The main facilities at Bryn Derwen include fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave. There are four TVs in the house, DVD players, and Wi-Fi internet access is provided, as well as all bed linen and towels. Finally, there also is a cot and highchair provided for a small infant, however, due to the nature of the house and garden, the owners feel the property it is unsuitable for children aged under 5 years old, unless a baby in arms.

Outdoors, outside of the house there is an enclosed garden with a patio and also a seating area, offering magnificent views of the mountain ranges nearby. Private parking for up to 2 cars is available, and bicycles can be stored in the garage adjacent. There is so much to do nearby to Bryn Derwen that you will want to keep coming back again and again. Please note, that the maximum occupancy for the house is 4 people.

One of the prettiest valleys in the North Wales' famed Eryri National Park, Dwygyfylchi is sheltered by the two headlands of Penmaenbach and Penmaemawr. Half a mile to the south-east of the main village lies Capelulo, which lies at the foot of the picturesque Sychnant Pass, and which connects Dwygyfylchi to Conwy. The cottage is in an ideal spot for sightseeing, with a sandy beach located at a short distance and the towns of Conwy - a popular stop on most tourist's road map of North Wales, with it's historic castle and walled town - and Llandudno which is in easy reach by car. The Isle of Anglesey, the famous Ynys Môn, is just a 20-minute drive from door to bridge.
