IMPORTANT NOTE: The Beachside Two pool is closed for renovations, with an anticipated completion date of August 2025. Some construction noise may be audible. Guests will enjoy access to the Phil Hummel and Linkside pools on the north side of the resort. A construction discount is included in the online quote.

Beachside II 4283 is a beachfront 1-bedroom unit situated on the southside of the very popular Sandestin® Golf & Beach Resort in Miramar Beach. The updated kitchen features every appliance and cookware you would need to make great meals. The dining table can sit 4 people plus a small breakfast bar that will seat 2. The living room has a flat screen HD TV, a new comfy sofa set for you and your loved ones to relax. For extra visitors and guests, the couch has a sofa sleeper that will comfortably sleep 2 people. There is also a new murphy bed! The laundry closet, with the convenience of a stacked washer and dryer, can be found in the small hallway leading to the bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has a king size bed, flat screen HD TV, big mirrored closet, and an unbeatable view of the Gulf. The bathroom is completely re-done with a high-sided tub to soak in and a de-bulked vanity to create more space.

Nice Place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental is located in the Sandestin resort's location, where we like to stay. The location was excellent with great a great view of the ocean. The condo was very clean with no surprises. I have 2 recommendations. First is to replace the sofa as it is not a comfortable sitting sofa. The second is to add a celing fan to the bedroom.

Great Condo and Location

Our first trip to Miramar Beach and Destin FL. We had a Great time! It was my sister and I and our 2 daughters age 21 and 19! The beach and water were amazing! Condo was perfect for the 4 of us. Just wish we had a mattress topper for the pull out couch. Girls complained there was a bar in their backs. We will definitely be coming back. Had an amazing time!

The views are spectacular and we found the condo to be very quite. We did not hear noises from those around us. We purchased ice as the ice maker did not work.This wasn't a big deal to us.

Perfect for a Small Family Beach Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two adults in the king bedroom and two boys (11 and 13) on the sleeper sofa. Plenty of space. In unit washer and dryer were easy. Brand new kitchen appliances including coffee maker (grounds not pods). Living room and bedroom both have large smart TVs that are easy to use and hook consoles for gaming. There was no baking sheet in oven drawer but there is now (we bought and left behind). Easy access to the beach and pool via double elevators a few doors down. Unit was quiet. If you want good beach spot and don’t want to pay for rental set, gotta get down early (6am) and be prepared for close quarters. There was one ceiling light in bathroom that was flickering so that was flickering so that needs to be changed. Parking on upper level 2 was plentiful. More crowded on level 1 which was covered. Driving and walking around on grounds was easy and tram made it simple and safe provided you are not on tight schedule. Destin traffic was par for the time of year (June). Sandestin is only 30 min to Seaside and 10 min to Destin so basically in the middle of everything. Plenty of activities and restaurants and shopping on and off property. Beach has hut for sodas, water, and beer and cocktails and frozen drinks. Check in and out was simple and all done via text.

Lovely and comfortable condo

We had a great time, been coming to this area for years. Just a couple call outs that would cost minimal to repair. Had to go to Target to buy a coffee maker, your 1 cup we could not get to work. Toaster is so old , can’t read button , didn’t matter every piece burnt. Bathroom tub could not find plug anywhere. Instructions for TV shows a remote for living room not even in condo. We did figure out by first day. Please keep in mind we thought condo was lovely but these few things can be annoying. Thank you.

Beautiful waters get away

Bed was comfortable but a little high for me to get in. Wished I had my little step stool. Everything worked except one bedroom light by nightstand. Wasn’t a deal breaker though. I was pleasantly surprised there were compact washer and dryer in unit. I like keeping up on laundry plus could wash the supplied 2sets of towels and washcloths provided. Beautiful view of gulf from balcony. Didn’t see any dolphins this trip from balcony though. Lots of shopping and restaurants around. For me personally I didn’t like how busy the beach became. Chairs and umbrellas set up daily all down the beach both directions that you had to rent. Also quite pricey. The pool was very nice as we enjoyed it the first day of our stay and then it was closed the rest of stay. Very disappointing. Ended up using pool a little further.

It was Ok...

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were given the code for gate and doors but No other explanation. There is NO condo staff on site so you have to figure everything out on your own. Not pleased that there was only one towel per person (it was stated clearly in contract,) no basic seasonings for cooking, 2 rolls of toilet paper and only a sheet and very thin small blanket for 2nd bed. I undertand its a VRBO rental who wants to go to the store to get toilet paper, blankets, laundry detergent and salt and pepper. Getting a Bike is impossible, Tram system is Not easy to understand, there is no food on the property (not even a vending machine.) Overall the money you spend is for a Very Basic Condo on the beach.

Excellent Rental and Experience

The property was very clean and newly updated! The photos listed during booking have not been updated, but the kitchen was redone and everything looks very nice! I would definitely book here again.

Great Weekend Getaway

This location seems to be going under some renovation. However, it did not put a damper on our stay. The condo was clean, gorgeous views, peaceful and very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My youngest child is still crawling and within minutes of letting him down his hands, knees, and feet were covered in black grime/dirt. We tried to clean the floors but the issue persisted throughout our stay. We were happy with the pool/beach access set up. The beach itself was a major disappointment. There are WAY too many rental beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach. This made the already crowded beach almost unbearable to navigate.

Perfect for the family of 3

This was perfect for our family of 3. The check in process was easy, as we received a text earlier in the day with the gate and front door codes. The condo was clean, had a washer and dryer and kitchen with the basic necessities. Which was perfect because we cooked breakfast every morning. The view from the balcony was awesome and we were able to watch the 4th of July fireworks from there. In our bedroom, we kept the window opened at night we to listen to the waves. The beach and pool were all a short distance from the condo. Walmart and Publix were less than 10 mins away. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay

The condo was clean and well-stocked and the location is the best. We had an issue with the washing machine (our fault-the door had to be slammed shut). A service person was there in literally five minutes. Rental company made our stay easy. I have one extremely minor issue. There was no baking sheet. Easy to improvise with foil.

Great Condo!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a large 1 bedroom, furnishings are nice, and bed is very comfortable.. It does have A little wear and tear due to being a rental. Laundry room doors need to be replaced and vanity in bathroom is weirdly small for a good size bathroom. Kitchen was nicely stocked and the view was fabulous!! Loved the wall to wall windows.. The ice machine in the lobby is great!! first time I have had that at a condo. I would definitely rent this one again!! Gibson was easy to work with and get hold of. We normally get a house with a golf cart, and this was so much easier, the pool was right out back door and the walk to the beach is short!!

March 2022 Stay

We had a great stay. The weather could have been a little better but overall it was a nice visit. The condo we stayed in needs a bit updating and a rental guide hand book. We haven’t had to deal with cox tv before and that was a challenge!! As always Gibson Beach Rentals are the best!! They answered all of questions we had about the rental and had someone out really fast to help us with the Cox tv. Looking forward to our next visit!!
