DIRECT OCEANFRONT Condo With Great Views and Large Balcony
Beautiful oceanfront condo on Hutchinson Island in Stuart Florida, fully renovated.
Watch the ocean from the entire open plan living room/kitchen area as well as the primary bedroom facing the ocean. The deep, over-sized balcony provides a comfortable setting for outdoor living. The living room has a large leather sectional couch with power recliners on each end and next to it is a nice recliner. Granite counter-tops and modern appliances in the kitchen. Living room TV has a 75" TV, with Xfinity cable programming with 140 channels. 40" TV in each bedroom as well. High speed wireless internet (75+Mb). Premium memory foam mattresses. Two electric twin air-mattresses with pillows and bedding are provided, along with a pack and play and highchair for families with small children. A beach box on the balcony contains beach chairs, an umbrella and assorted beach toys.
The Pelican Building is located within the beautiful Indian River Plantation resort and is convenient to Downtown Stuart and Jensen Beach. Due to building height restrictions, the beaches are less crowded than the surrounding areas. The Marriott Sandpiper Tiki Bar is located within an easy stroll for a cocktail or lunch, but far enough away to be unobtrusive. Our pool is located on the north side of our building (close but out of sight and hearing!) with ample lounge chairs, tables, BBQ grills, and a restroom; it is rarely busy. Publix is less than a mile away so there is no need to go back over the bridge to shop for groceries. Our condo is well supplied with all the necessary kitchen utensils and many spices are provided.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The view was fantastic and the location convenient. The host was quick to answer any questions we had. Condo has beach chairs, umbrella and other items that may be needed for a day at the beach. Would stay here again.

The condo was very clean and very nicely furnished. Great location and quite location just what we love. The owner Charles was very helpful and offered suggestions for things to do on the 4th. Would definitely stay again.

Great family Vacation
It was our Granddaughter's Birthday surprise she was so happy to see the property. She swam in the ocean and pool every day. As a family with our daughter and son-in law it was a great experience. We enjoyed our staying in this property and will be back.

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful condo unit. Updated. Everything you need is there. The view and the sounds of the waves was so relaxing.

Amazing stay in every way
Prime location. Excellent beach views. Pristine, perfectly appointed condo overlooking the ocean. Owner Charles is excellent to work with. Step into a little piece of paradise ~ you won't want to come home!

Thanks so much for your generous review. We look forward to your return in 2019. When you arrive you will find new sliding glass doors, bedside reading lamps in the master bedroom and other improvements that we are making over the summer.

Beach Paradise
Beautiful condo with all amenities. Love the proximity to the beach! Lovely double balcony with great ocean view!! Sunrises are exceptional!!

Great Spot
Great spot and unit. We had family stay in other units in the building and this one was easily the best. The furniture, beds, TV, and patio are all great. Charles is a great host and was impressively responsive. We would definitely stay again.

Great getaway
This is a wonderful condo in a great location. Our family enjoyed the large balcony with comfortable furniture. It was so nice to sit and relax while watching the ocean. The interior was lovely.
The owner was easy to communicate with and very responsive.
We would choose this condo again and again.

Amazing
There was construction going on during our stay and Stuart. However, the owner made us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. The House was stocked with essentials that were needed! Such a great location and nice place!

Wonderful oceanfront property!
We loved our week at this condo! Everything we could possibly need was there, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We enjoyed mornings on the deck, with beautiful views of the ocean. Afternoons were spent on the beach, which was literally steps from the condo. Our only complaint is that we only booked a week! Definitely wanted to stay longer!

The apartment was in good condition and met our expectations, but the major problem was that the building's elevator was malfunctioning throughout our entire stay. It only worked intermittently, no more than 10% of the time. My son and two other young children were trapped inside for over half an hour, and we had to call 911 for rescue. The firefighters told us they had also rescued people from the same elevator the day before.The situation was very frustrating because we had two young children in the apartment who used strollers, and we had to carry them up and down the stairs, in addition to the groceries from the supermarket.Another issue was that the elevator's emergency call system wasn't working.The host always answered my calls, but due to the building's layout, there wasn't much that could be done.Therefore, I am requesting compensation for the inconvenience.

We deeply regret that this happened. That said, we do not own the building, only the condo. We were in touch with the guest as well as the management company, but there is nothing we could have done to resolve the issue ourselves. So we don't believe this review is fair.

Nice stay
Except for condo not cleaned upon arrival the owner was quick to respond and took care of basic cleaning themselves. Has to wait to check in. Other than that our stay was enjoyable

Lovely, Well-Equipped Condo
This is an ideal location on Hutchinson Island. First of all, it is right on an uncrowded beach, and the sunsets are breathtaking. Several restaurants and the grocery store are within walking distance. The owner was exceptionally responsive to our needs. After being rented so frequently, some updates to the property would be desirable.

We enjoyed our stay in the condo.
The view of the ocean from the condo was beautiful. My wife and I enjoyed the complex and the easy access to the beach. The pool can get busy as it is shared by two condo complexes. All in all we had a wonderful time. We had a issue with one of the bathrooms upon our arrival,made a phone call and the issue was addressed. We had wonderful weather during our visit.

Thanks for your kind review. We love our condo for the reasons you mentioned--a great view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. The pool is rarely busy but when it is, you won't hear any noise since our condo faces Southeast, away from the pool area. I hope that you will visit us again next year!

Our family is from Central Florida and we purchased this condo mainly for our own use, but also to offer to guests as a vacation rental when we cannot use it ourselves. We renovated and furnished it to a higher level than most units to ensure that there is ample seating, convenient TV viewing, a fully functional kitchen, and a reading chair in each room.

We've rented in the area for several years and we quickly realized that we wanted a place on South Hutchinson Island convenient to Downtown Stuart, which is our favorite small city in Florida-- not too crowded but large enough to offer amenities like many good restaurants and shopping. We focused on the Indian River Plantation because it is a resort community large enough to create a buffer between State Road A1A and the ocean, so there is no busy street directly behind us like most of the condos up and down the coast. Instead there is a golf course and lots of green space and walking paths. We chose the Southeast side of the Pelican Building in particular because of its direct oceanfront location and its separation from other buildings. This makes for better views and more peace and quiet; there is a nice heated pool on the north side of the building, but we are shielded from any noise. Being on the Southeast side also means we enjoy the prevailing southern breeze during the hotter months of the year while being protected from colder winds in the winter. One of the reasons the beach is uncrowded is that Martin County restricts the height of all buildings to four stories and smaller buildings equals fewer people on the beach.

Our condo is on the third floor of the four-story Pelican building and it affords great views of the ocean that aren't possible on lower floors. There are two types of two-bedroom units in our building and we have stayed in both. The end units are nice but they lack the deep balconies and oceanfront master bedroom that our condo has. There is nothing like waking up in the morning to the sight and sound of the sea, and the deep balcony allows lots of room for outdoor living and dining.
