This expansive 6-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home offers 2,870 square feet of stylish coastal comfort—perfect for anglers, boaters, and families looking to make unforgettable memories by the water. From peaceful mornings on the dock to vibrant sunsets over the bay, Luna Mar invites you to unwind in style. Spend sunny afternoons swimming in your private pool, casting a line from the dock, or cruising the canals with easy tie-offs at the boat slip. The covered deck offers a front-row seat to dazzling sunset views, and the gated cul-de-sac location near the mouth of Galveston Bay ensures privacy and tranquility throughout your stay.

Inside, the home features modern updates and a calming coastal atmosphere. The home's sleeping accommodations are divided into three separate sleeping areas, each with its own private exterior entrance. The main level features three bedrooms, including the Primary Suite, Queen bedroom, and Full/Twin bedroom, along with the open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area. The ground-level suite, accessible only from the exterior, includes a King bedroom, Twin bedroom, shared Hollywood bath, and kitchenette. A separate bunk room with Twin bunk beds is also accessible only from the exterior. Please note there is no interior access from the main level to either of the ground-level sleeping areas. This unique layout offers added privacy and flexibility for multiple families, couples, or groups traveling together. The kitchen comes fully stocked with extra cookware, making family meals simple and enjoyable.

We have been visiting Galveston for many years. Our family normally stays front row on the beach. We decided to mix it up this year & stay on the bay. We are super glad we did. The kids enjoyed swimming in the private pool & paddle boarding on the bay & said they preferred the bay over the beach. Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised. The house was very nice & had plenty of room for everyone. We had an amazing time & will definitely be coming back...

There is no inside stairwell between the floors. You must go outside to get to the bedrooms downstairs. This is not a good arrangement for families with young children.Pool deck had pile of garbage and dozen of beer bottle caps alaying around the pool. Had to call twice to get someone to show up to clean the mess-up.

This place was great. From the views, to the fishing, to the relaxing patio to the fun pool, my whole family thoroughly enjoyed our long-weekend getaway. Truly paradise.

Family vacay

The house fit our family needs perfectly. Very roomy and never felt like we were on top of each other. The view is great and sunsets are breathtaking. The pool was a big hit with everyone. Amazing time with faming making memories.

Excellent Property

Exactly as described, the family enjoyed fishing from the property and caught many fish. The pool was enjoyable after a few warm days.

Relaxing getaway with family and friends

The house had plenty of space for several adults. The large deck was perfect for group meals and morning coffee. The private pool was more of an asset than I anticipated. Fishing was very good in this location.

Loved this place. 100% as advertised. Fishing was amazing and the kids had plenty of room to play. Nice quiet neighborhood with very nice people. Had one little issue with a breaker and they had someone out there in 20 minutes on a holiday weekend. Will continue to stay here

Every thing was good. The door knobs and doors need to be replaced. There is a spot on the dock that needs to be repaired. I think there is a board that has broken underneath and that could be an issue. The master bathroom electricity wasn’t working. We called for two days and I emailed. We didn’t get a response until Tuesday. So we were not happy about that.

Easter weekend

We really enjoyed the house, would maybe rent again but we really want to be able to take our small dogs, but the house is nice and accommodates our family very well

This property met our wants for a canal house with a private pool. The general cleanliness--the bathrooms, kitchen, linens were all good. The outside of the house needs some maintenance. This property is new to Ryson and I am sure that they will maintain it. We have rented with Ryson before and have always been satisfied with them. This house had a key box, so check in and check out was easy.

Much needed get away!

We enjoyed Luna Mar! The property was lovely and the amenities were as stated. Be aware the "6th" bedroom is really just a small area with a set of bunk beds but we made it work. The pool was clean and the neighbors were friendly. We would book again!

Family vacation

House was not at all like pictured. All of the door handles were broken and half of the doors barely closed. When we first got there and were walking up the stairs the handrail fell on top of my cousins ankle.

Awesome place to stay

We have rented this home a couple of times now. We always have a great time there fishing. The home does need some work done to it to fix it up. The washer and dryer did not work this time around. Other than that it is a great place to stay with your family and friends. Plenty of room for the whole family to fish and is in a great location for fishing. We will be staying there again.

Fabulous!

This was perfect for our family! The kids loved fishing and they even went swimming even though it was very chilly. Perfect vacation. Only complaint is that there was a den of roaches under the dishwasher that would come out a lot. Definitely recommend!

In for our sons wedding

Lina Mar was nice. Wonderful breeze and a pretty view. The house was spacious and had plenty of room for family members to have their own areas. We wish the fishing lights would have been operational, but overall we would definitely come back.

Great Memories

We all had such great fun! Everything we needed was there. It had something for everyone; quiet space to read or work, games for the rainy periods, pool, quick beach access and plenty of fishing space. Bait and Ice were a quick few blocks away and the area was quiet. The underwater lights weren't working this time, but the top light was good for evening fishing. Everyone had a great time and we plan to return.

Overall good stay

The house itself was a nice place. Could use some updating but overall a cute place. I wish the house would have had a few more things. There were plenty of kitchen utensils. Two trash bags for 11 people for 4 days didn’t seem like enough. It would have been nice if they had some basic cooking spices. The pool was great! Overall, I would stay here again

All of our properties get a starter bag that includes an extra trash bag, a small dish liquid, 2 dishwasher tabs, 2 laundry pods, a kitchen sponge, a roll of paper towels and a roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. Our rental agreement includes a page with a list of "items to bring" to assist our guests in purchasing what they need for the home. We hope you stay with us again!

Annual Gals Beach Weekend

The property is perfect for our purposes which eat, drink, relax, play some games & enjoy being around each other while leaving all home responsibilities at home! We will soon start planning next year's trip & will be coming back to this house. One suggestion would be to label light switches. Also in the house book info the username & password need to be switched.
