Enjoy your lakefront vacation, staycation, workcation, girls' weekend, or guys' weekend on Lake Norman! Our home is located near the Trump National Golf Course, 15 miles to Davidson College, 35 miles to Lowes Motor Speedway. We are right off the main channel in a large deep cove. 2 Kayaks and floats are provided for your use. We have all the amenities you want in your ideal home-away-from-home: complimentary wireless internet access for your laptop or mobile devices, TVs, movies, DVD player and a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy relaxing on our large screen porch (35ft x 13 ft) overlooking Lake Norman. The screen porch has a dining table for 6 plus a couch, chairs and coffee table. The home features an upgraded kitchen with granite, stainless steel appliances, large island with 3 bar stools. On the main level, you will find the Primary Bedroom with queen bed and Bedroom #2 with bunkbeds and queen bed. The basement features a large recreation room with a pool table, foosball table, TV, Kids DVDs, movie theme posters & more. Bedroom #3 is located off of the rec room with 2 twin beds. No Pets, please don't ask.

Bring your lake toys and enjoy our slice of paradise. Yoga mats are available upon request (please let us know at the time of booking). Rent a boat or jet ski from a local marina. We have a private pier and jet ski dock. The closest place to launch your boat is Hagers Creek Access Area. The address for the boat launch is 788 McKendree Rd off of Brawley School Rd.

Beautiful Lake Home

We had a great stay. The house was very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed. There were tubes and kayaks for us to explore the lake. We loved the screen porch overlooking the lake. The beds were very comfortable. The firepit area was nice and we enjoyed makong smores. We totally felt at home. The owners were great and very accommodating. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Lake House

The house has a great wrap around deck, and the screened in area was an added bonus. There was a need to remove cobwebs and clean stains off of deck furniture. Comfortable house with adequate space and a very enjoyable downstairs entertainment room. Kitchen was a good size, but not very well stocked with reasonable quality cooking supplies. Needed additional flatware and glasses. Found a couple live and dead roaches in the kitchen cabinets. It was nice to have 3-4 Kayaks available for use, but all of the seats were missing or broken.

Nice lication

It was a nice place that more than fit our needs for a week. Lots of outdoor seating areas. Nice dock area that we were able to easily dock a 22’ pontoon at. The owners were very easy to communicate with and worked with us on issues that were my fault. We will look it up again in the future.

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Lake Norman Waterfront home. The house is very clean. The beds are comfortable. The yard and lake access are PERFECT. There is A LOT of seating outside. The screened porch is great for dining. The water tubes made for nice and relaxing floating and cooling off. We all enjoyed the pool and foosball tables. There are a few things to be mindful of: 1. Beach towels are NOT provided...this was stated in the welcome email, but we did not receive that until our check in date and we were flying from Phoenix, AZ. 2. Only 2 of the kayaks are usable, and only one of those has a seat/back support. 3. You can't use both showers at the same time...the water pressure drops significantly. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. Cheers to those that can afford to live on the lake. Wow! :)

Loved the screened in porch!

We had a relaxing time during our short stay. The screened in porch was wonderful. The location was very peaceful and beautiful. We even had deer visit us each day. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfy. It was a bit difficult to dock the boat, not much space left at the dock during our stay.

Lovely lake house

My family had a great stay. The house was clean and well stocked with a great view of the lake from the huge screened in porch. The kayaks were in good shape and we enjoyed the nice game room as well!

Excellent House on the Lake!

The property owners have set up a perfect lake house for a family to enjoy! It had everything you would need in a great location. We appreciated the extra amenities and things left open for a family to use. They communicated up front and often throughout the vacation to attend to our needs. Thank you!!!

Birthday

This home was perfect for our family get together. My son was able to bring his boat and have it docked right at the house. Everyone enjoyed the use of kayaks, boat rides, s’mores at the fire and playing in the lake. The location was well kept and a beautiful view plus it was so quiet. The children enjoyed seeing deer, geese, ducks and fishing off the dock. We loved the porch on the back-no bugs! Well supplied and very clean. Thank you for a wonderful family weekend!

Life IS better on the lake!

We decided to do this last minute vacation before dropping off our daughter off at UofSC. We have friends that live close that have a boat that they let us borrow during our stay and we are boaters so that made our stay great! The house was very well stocked with all kitchen supplies (we cooked every night and never felt like we needed something that wasn’t already there.) The house had a great set of basic needs stuff like toilet paper, paper towels, spices, coffee filters, dish soap, travel sized toiletries to get the week started. We loved sitting both on the screened in porch and on the dock to look out into the water or watch the sunset. The boat dock had a lift that accommodated a 26 ft open bow boat, we did not lift it, only tied off there. The dock had kayaks and noodles that were fun for the kids and adults. My teenage son enjoyed playing pool with my husband and I throughout the week. This is a LAKE house, it’s not a spotless mansion on the lake. It could probably use a good power wash on parts of the porch but it didn’t bother us at all. We actually spent every night out there except a few hours while we played pool. The owners were very accommodating to our last minute stay which was helpful. The water is well water which is well maintained because the water didn’t smell and tasted fine. The owner was worried about any leaks because of this, so when the faucet leaked some we let him know. He ordered a new faucet but it wasn’t installed prior to us leaving. This was a small inconvenience in which we shut off the water to kitchen sink when we weren’t using it. It didn’t seem like an old faucet, so not sure why it leaked. To be honest the kitchen was remodeled and very pretty and enough room to cook a feast (which we did). We didn’t really use most of the TVs, except the one downstairs which worked fine. Showers had great pressure. Lots of extra space in yard for games/kids running around, you can swim off dock or right off the cement ramp if you want. We swam off dock during downtime. The fire pit was cool and we had all intentions of using it, but never got around to it (too hot). My only real complaint would be the pillows, I ended up having a kink neck all week and my daughter said the same about her pillow. The beds were average as far as comfort. I would 100% come back to this house, so quiet and serene. My husband and I have talked about retiring with a beach house but after this vacation we are leaning towards lake house.

Perfect vacation

This house was amazing. It was exactly as listed. The kayaks and game room were great for our teenagers and the location of the house was quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend renting this property.

Beautiful, relaxing, quiet location

This house is beautifully located on a lovely lot. Check in was easy! The water is beautiful and we had a lovely view of the sunset every evening. There is a huge fire pit, great for marshmallow roasting! We enjoyed the grill and eating together outside on the expansive screened porch. Downstairs was great for the teens with lots to do and the yard was great for my athletes to play spikeball, frisbee, football and blow off their steam from a big school year! The kayaks were fun and we rented a sailboat from a nearby yacht club, with which our club is reciprocal, and the kids sailed all day. I would love to come back to this property and I can't wait to see the finished improvements they are working on!

Just What We Needed

The home was the perfect size for our family of four and 2 additional guests. Clean, with all the kitchen essentials we needed. The game/family room on the lower level was key when traveling with teens. All-in-all, a nice place to spend the week!

Cozy, quiet paradise

From the start of the reservation, the owners were amazing. They communicated and replied quick and often. We appreciate their flexibility with our reservation. Upon arrival we knew it was going to be perfect. The location of the home is in a quiet, I mean quiet, cove of the lake. The porch is a wrap around and the driveway is circular style in and out and can fit many vehicles if needed with easy exit and entry. The grocery stores and restaurants were barely ten minutes away. Water access couldn't be easier with a convenient slanted area to launch our kayaks and the dock with plenty of space and room for activities. The water was EMPTY during the week, it was amazing. The star of the show for us was the screened porch. It's gigantic and even has a screen on the bottom, so no mosquitos. We drank coffee in the morning and ate most of our meals out there. It has seating for 8-10 ppl with a master bedroom door for easy access. The house itself has room for up to about 8 people comfortably in my opinion, though I am sure the owners have a limit they prefer. There is a recreation room in the basement with a pool table, a foosball table, TV, and a large couch. If you want to play pool, I recommend bringing your own pool sticks as theirs are missing the chalk tip. The lower porch isn't screened but there is plenty of seating available. Despite what some reviews said, we found the kitchen to be well stocked with everything we needed with a quick trip to the grocery store. The master bedroom was perfect and the mattress was very comfortable for us. Another bonus was the keyless entry. It was nice not to have to keep up with anything while on the water. Overall, we loved it. We didn't leave the house because we didn't need to. Pro tip, bring a kayak or boat and paddle out to the main channel to watch the sunset from the water. It took no time at all and was an amazing end to the day. Thank you to the owners for sharing their lovely home.
