Brenda and hubby attended nearby Polyface Farms presentation. They also enjoyed nearby eateries such as Zynadoa, Bluepoint seafood and Kathy's for breakfast. We'd happily host them again.

Ohhhh my gosh! This place was amazing -- inside and out! If there could only ever be one place that would fully capture the image of the "Shenandoah Valley" this place was it! I couldn't take enough pictures. There were views of the gorgeous valley right out the bedroom window as well as the living room & kitchen. Bill & Sherry were the best host, I felt like I was staying in a close friends home -- they thought of everything! They greeted me warmly but fully gave me my privacy as well.Their grounds are gorgeous too! I want to come back one day so I can just spend time there and not have to go anywhere! Thank you Bill & Sherry being such wonderful hosts!

Wonderful rental!

We really enjoyed our stay at Almost Heaven. The view is definitely heavenly, and the apartment was immaculate and comfortable. Bill was a great host and gave us great information on area restaurants and activities. We highly recommend Almost Heaven and would stay there again!

A Wonderful Place

I wanted a place that was peaceful, quiet, and beautiful. This place far exceeded my expectations. While I cannot say enough about the beauty of the place, the hosts were even better.

Truly Almost Heaven

Such a beautiful location! Highly recommend if looking for a place to stay close to blue ridge parkway or Staunton. The view at sunset is unbelievably beautiful! Thank you for a very memorable weekend!

Delightful!

It was a wonderful place to stay. A short distance to restaurants and any other places one could need. We love the peaceful surroundings. One can’t go wrong staying here. You will hope to return soon, just like we do.

Beautiful and Relaxing Getaway

The property was even more beautiful in person and my wife and I had such a relaxing time. The owners were so friendly and welcomed us when we arrived an showed us around which was helpful. Bill gave great restaurant recommendations that we tried and loved. An excellent trip and highly recommend this property if you are looking for beauty and relaxation while still being close to restaurants, shopping wineries etc.

Beautiful location and place

This is a wonderful place to be, the view is spectacular. Porch swing on the back where you may enjoy your beverage of choice and watch the sunrise or set. Great host! You will love it.

Definitely almost Heaven!

We had such a wonderful stay, the place is so lovely! The views are breathtaking and we loved sitting on the patio gazing at the mountains. The owners were very hospitable and we enjoyed talking with them. We'll miss our daily puppy visits. When we come back to the area, we hope to stay again!

Exactly what we needed

Great little getaway. Included everything we needed, especially amazing views and bird watching right outside the window. It was the perfect place to enjoy our evenings when in town for our daughter's wedding. Thank you for everything!
