There's nothing like the expansive, breathtaking views from nearly every room of this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo. On the deck you can hear the roar of the Deschutes River below and watch it stream through a forest of Ponderosa Pines. Whether you are seeking outdoor adventures or cozy relaxing, you'll find this to be an ideal location.
The beautiful views give you the feeling of being secluded in nature while you are also conveniently close to all the fun in and around Bend. You will have endless options for activities in the warmer months with golf, mountain biking, river-floating, hiking and kayaking nearby. The Old Mill District is a short drive (1.5 miles) where you'll find shopping, dining and nightlife. Drive a little further (2.5 miles) to downtown Bend and enjoy amazing restaurants, breweries, and shopping. If mountain sports are on your agenda, Mt. Bachelor (the fifth largest ski resort in North America) is just a 20 minute drive.
If you'd rather slow down on vacation and leave your car in park, you'll find this condo has you covered. Spend some time enjoying the view while soaking in the private hot tub on the deck (seats 2 people). The Mt. Bachelor Village Resort has an outdoor kids' play structure, large heated outdoor pool (summer only) and two community hot tubs, which are open year round. An entrance to the Deschutes river trail is just down the hill and allows you to walk up and down either side of the rushing river water.
In the condo itself you'll find all the necessities for a comfortable vacation. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to prepare meals. A gas grill is located on the deck, along with table and chairs for outdoor dining. The living room has a large sectional couch and gas fireplace, perfect for relaxing.
For your entertainment, you'll find a flatscreen TV, cable, and high-speed internet. You can access streaming video services with your own account (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video). There is also a DVD library of over 50 classic movies and plenty of board games to enjoy.
One bedroom features a KING SIZE BED and the other a queen. The layout and size of this condo make it a perfect choice for a family to enjoy time together but have enough space to spread out. For your convenience there is an in-unit washer and dryer. For travelers with children, we offer a pack 'n play available upon request

It was our favorite condo so far we have stayed at in Bend oregon. It was clean,quiet, lovely view, kitchen was stocked with spices, and things to cook with, making it very nice. We definitely want to Escape To Bend again

We had the most magical time in Bend. The apartment was absolutely spotless and instantly felt like home. Can’t thank the host enough for her speedy communication and ability to go out of her way to support. We would highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again.

The host was so communicative and responded to any questions I had very quickly. The place was even better then I had expected especially for the price, which was discontinued due to construction which was really no issue to us. Super clean and had everything we needed. Thank you so much!

Very clean and updated. My husband thinks the mattress in the master needed to be rotated or flipped. He felt a dip in the mattress. Everything else was great.

Everything was expected! Great stay great location. Nice and spacious. The carpet was so cushioned!The only thing is that we would get a notification that the hot tub cleaner comes a hour before checkout time.Will stay again!

Thanks for the review. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. The hot tub maintenance visit can be a little inconvenient, particularly if you are busy packing up to check out that day. We do work with the maintenance company to be as quick and non-disruptive as possible during their visit to top of water and adjust chemicals. It's important to us to keep the hot tub well maintained for guests. I hope you'll think of my place again for a stay in Bend. -Devon (owner)

This is a beautiful property that had everything we needed. The only slightly difficult thing was that ride share drivers for Uber or Lyft were not usually nearby, so I had to reserve a ride in advance for an event I was attending to make sure I got there on time. I would definitely stay here again and just rent a car next time, for my own convenience. Check in and out were both smooth and easy. It was a great place to chill and hang out and there were a bunch of walking paths all around.

It was a lovely property. It was super close to Hayden Homes amphitheater. We went to a concert and it took all of 7 min. To get there. The condo itself was lovely and I would definitely stay there again.

I love that the theater is a convenient walk away but far enough that the music doesn't disrupt guests at the condo that are looking for a quiet stay. The home was well furnished with cooking items, games, etc. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub was on point. Beautiful views all around 5 Star. We are looking forward to next year and re-reserving this same unit!The only thing missing was a hair dryer. No big deal, just pack one :)

We currently live in Kirkland Washington raising our two young sons. It is a dream of ours to own a vacation home where we can retreat as a family and make memories year after year. Finding the right place took some time, but Bend feels like the right place to match our interests in being active and being outdoors.
Scott grew up in the California Bay area and vacationed in Tahoe where his family owned a home. They would take long weekends in all seasons to enjoy time away as a family and have fun. That childhood experience is one that we both want to recreate with our sons.

We first visited Bend in 2012 during the summer and stayed in a condo in the Mt. Bachelor Resort. During our stay our two young boys had a blast swimming in the pool, riding scooters on the paved trails nearby and wandering around the Old Mill district in search of ice cream. Our three night stay was not nearly enough time to explore all there is to do in Bend. We left knowing we’d be back. Two years later we spent spring break in Bend, again renting a condo in the Mt. Bachelor Resort. This time our days were filled with skiing and visits to the rock climbing gym in town. After five nights, our boys were sad to leave, and again, we felt like we left so much undone on our vacation agenda. Bend offers what we’ve been looking for in a vacation destination – year round fun for our family, with ample outdoor activities to keep our boys busy now and in the years to come as their interests change. Though we looked at homes in various areas around Bend, nothing compared to the location and amenities available at Mt. Bachelor Resort. When we walked into the particular unit we would eventually buy, the amazing view of the Deschutes River took our break away and the vacation home shopping was over. We are excited to share our vacation home with you and hope you will leave with the same desire to return that we feel.

This place feels like you are away from it all, but it's SO centrally located. The Mt. Bachelor Village Resort property has the pool and hot tub for guests use. Plus, the condo itself has a new hot tub (2017) on the deck overlooking the river and Ponderosa Pines below.
