We now have a wonderful DOCK at Sitting Rock!
Waterfront Home on beautiful Lake Chatuge with stunning Lake and Mountain views. The house is located on the shores of Lake Chatuge. Home is about 5 blocks from downtown Hiawassee ... a small town in North Georgia.
This is a three bedroom, three bath home. The house will comfortably sleep 8 people. There is a queen sleeper sofa available. The three bedrooms have queen beds. Bath and Sleep linens are furnished. A Washer and Dryer are available.
The Kitchen is fully equipped. A Grill is furnished for Outdoor Grilling.
There is a wonderful Fire Pit in the front yard.
There is a covered Carport. This is a one story house on level terrain. There is a nice yard.
The house has RokuTV. The house has Wi Fi.
The house has Central Air and Heat and two Gas log fireplaces.
To me ... the outstanding feature of the property is the striking lake and mountain views ... a treasure to sit on the front porch and enjoy!

Beautiful!

We enjoyed our stay, it was comfortable, clean and room for all of us to have our own space or sit together in 1 of the 2 living spaces! Very nice will stay there again most likely

Super nice stay!

The house is as wonderful as it looks on line and Elizabeth and Buck were fantastic to deal with. Great location for many, many reasons. I definitely plan to return.

Tranquility with mountain view

Was very peaceful and relaxing. Could have stared at the view for hours. The dock is a nice addition as well!!

Great Stay at the Lake

Enjoyed the house a lot. Awesome view of the lake. Lots of room. The hosts were very informative and helpful. Loved the old school lake feel.

Beautiful place!

We had a wonderful time! We have always loved this area. Beautiful and peaceful. The lake house had plenty of room and super clean! Buck was a great host! We will definitely back!

Perfect vacation spot!

The Lake House is amazing. The views are breathtaking. The house was spotless and so comfortable. Buck was so attentive and readily available for any questions or recommendations. We have already booked our return stay for next year.

Over all awesome experience.

Mr. Buck was there to greet us and show us around he was amazing and very helpful not with just the property but the area we was staying in also. This was by far the best experience renting we have ever had. Awesome property.

Wonderful week in an amazing setting!

We loved having family and friends visit during this week. Enjoyed the sunsets, fire pit and comfortable accommodations. Buck was an excellent host, super responsive and helpful! Hiawassee is on our list of favorite places now. We will be back! Thanks for everything.

Absolutely Serene Location

Spent nine days here and wish it could have been longer. We felt like we were in the wilderness yet we were walking distance to town. This cabin was absolutely immaculate.......it has been well taken care of. Many things to do in this area and some great BBQ. The property manager greeted us upon our arrival and was available afterwards to answer questions. Am looking forward to returning here sometime.

Awesome stay!

We had an excellent time staying at this property. We had originally booked for just 4 nights but the remainder of the week was open so we stayed 2 more. It’s only about a 5 minute drive to Ingles grocery store/gas. The home is huge, so we decided to invite family over a couple of days to hang out on the water and friends stayed with us one night also. The size of the home was super convenient as we had 9 of us there at one point. Buck was super nice and very helpful, there at check in to help to make sure we knew how to work the TV’s and such. He was just a phone call away and lives near to help if you need anything. We were able to dock our pontoon at the boat dock at the property which is a huge plus. The yard is massive, the grandkids loved running around. The little neighbor it’s in is nice, the kids enjoyed riding their bikes in the evening. We definitely recommend staying here!

Spacious and comfortable

We stayed for 3 nights. Too short. Met my sister and her family up in Hiawassee, Ga for Thanksgiving. Had Thanksgiving at my sister's rental. A 3 story job made to look like a log cabin but not really. Hers was small. The main living area was on the middle floor. We were cramped and hot. The next day was at our cabin. Nice and relaxing. Everyone seemed so relaxed. So much room and plenty of bathrooms. And a beautiful lake to look at while enjoying the outdoors in the large screened porch with plenty of seating area. 2 bathrooms had walk in showers with doors and the 3rd had a tub/shower combo. Can't speak enough about the spacious rooms and just wonderful homy feel. Jack was the manager of the home and great. We didn't need to call him and only met him the 1st night when we got their to get the tour and instructions. He was very thorough and enthusiastic. Really appreciated the extra touch. This is a must stay at cabin. You'll really enjoy it.

2nd annual tribe ride

Our group rents a place every year for our motorcycle ride. This place by far was the best we have ever stayed at. The view of the lake and screened in porch was our favorite. We loved how close we were to everything we needed. Buck was the best at making sure we got checked in and had everything ready. We will definitely be booking this place again real soon.

Very nice place to stay. Had everything we could possibly need.

Throughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the screened porch but was a tad too chilly to enjoy it. (Maybe consider adding a small heater out there for colder weather.). Even without that, the stay was very very good. The property is convenient to most everything, but still in a quiet and peaceful area.

Peaceful and Quiet

This house was the perfect place for us to have a quiet getaway. The location is very private and has a great view of the lake. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and spent many hours on the screened-in porch watching the birds and the boats. The kitchen has everything you might need to prepare meals, the beds are comfortable and there are multiple bathrooms. It is a great place for a family get together.

You are only minutes from the center of town and quaint stores and restaurants.
We not have a DOCK at Sitting Rock ... You will enjoy that.
