Very comfortable cottage, steep staircase a bit creaky, no washing machine if that’s important to you. New stylish kitchen, really comfy bed and fantastic patio/terrace which we enjoyed breakfast outside every morning. Perfect for our Festival long weekend stay as easy walk into Shanklin town to catch festival buses - nice big grassy parkland opposite to walk the dog or run around.

We Loved Our Stay In The Hideaway

Our cottage was so cozy. It had everything we needed and it was just a short walk to shops and restaurants.

I can see why this property is called the hideaway as it is nicely tucked away from the road.It was not to far away from a bus stop,pubs eatery’s and the town.I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely cottage. Private location. I was without a car so shops were quite far to walk to. About 20 mins to the coop. Close to the old village though and very clean property and well equipped

We had a nice stay in Shanklin, close to the town yet a quiet location. Cosy and compact but a nice outdoor area for eating in summer. Kitchen had most things we needed but the indoor table was not big enough for two to eat a meal.

Cosy cottage

Pretty one bedroom house just a short walk from the village. Well equipped modern kitchen and bathroom. Lovely terrace to the front with patio furniture. Would recommend.

Perfect!

Lovely little cottage. We were only there for a couple of nights but if we find ourselves back on the Island we’d definitely book again. The only thing I’d mention is that every other property we’ve ever booked has always provided at least a pint of milk for our arrival but there was nothing, which was disappointing, hence 4 out of 5*
