The wife and I absolutely loved this place. Spent a week here for our 25th anniversary. Highly recommend if you're wanting that nice urban getaway. Not far from the National Mall and capital hill. Definitely recommend

This place was spotless! The host team was very helpful and communicative.Space was well-outfitted for persons who chose to prepare meals there.Nearby shopping for basics and groceries.Some good food venues nearby.

Very nice and comfortable! Had everything we needed and more. Hosts were friendly and accompdating!

Great location. Was a great spot for my family. Love the neighborhood- lots of restaurants and bars to choose from.

Great Trip

Our family had an awesome April Vacation in DC! Parking was easy to find on the street, the house had everything we needed for our family to have a successful week and family trip!

We loved staying at this apartment. The decor was fun and celebrated D.C. It was clean, we had what we needed and the customer service was spot on!! Our family would definitely stay here again!

College visit stay

We stayed here while we were touring 5 colleges in DC. Easy to get to the metro and around DC from here!All questions were responded to quickly!Enjoyed our stay and would stay here again

Great place to stay

Great location just off of H St. Trolley ride to Union Station is convenient. Walkable to the National Mall. Lots of extras available through the property if needed. Everything you need in the residence is there for you.

We had an excellent stay! We found the location to be convenient with multiple options for groceries, eateries, and a pharmacy nearby. The apartment was spotless and well stocked enabling us to prepare dinner in. The bed was comfy and the shower was roomy with multiple jet/shower head options. Communication with the host and/or property management company was timely and helpful. I would definitely recommend this colorful DC hideaway, and would stay here again.

Thanks, Rita! It was a pleasure to have you. Just to clarify, the property isn't managed by a property management company, per se. Jenna is a property manager but she's a hospitality-based one-woman show, not a company. :)

DC Studio Suite

Very nice accommodations. A bit of a walk to major attractions but Lyft worked well. Efficient and affordable. Unit was very clean and well furnished.

Pretty Perfect!

My sister and I stayed here a few days ago with our adult daughters. The apartment is cute, pristine and centrally located. There is so much to see and do in DC; David and Amie created a fabulous binder chock full of helpful info. Will definitely stay here next time I’m in town!

Colorful & Quiet

Nice little place off H street; very clean and comfortable which was perfect for our small family getaway. We very much appreciated that a high chair and toys were available for our use. We also appreciated being able to walk to local restaurants. Communication with “host” was exceptional which made booking incredibly easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Property suited our needs. H street location was great as it had grocery stores on the way back to rental at night, and the DC street car train to take you to Union Station, where you can then get to all the sights from there. The street car was not very reliable though. The host was very responsive.

Home away from home

We were looking for a home base for when we visit family in the neighborhood. This is it! Grocery store, restaurants, coffee shop, and great bookstore all nearby. Comfortable apartment that has all you need and room to hang out and visit. We will be back!

Awesome apartment!! Loved it!!

Our stay here was wonderful! The apartment is gorgeous and has EVERYTHING you need! Owners are super nice and accommodating and even invited us to their local fireworks get together for the neighborhood, as we were there over the Fourth of July. It is convenient to everything with a short trolley ride or Uber to attractions. Groceries are close as are restaurants! Would definitely stay here again if in town! It was also very clean! Thanks for a great stay!!

It was a pleasure having you stay with us. We hope you had a great time over the 4th of July . Hopefully next time you can stay longer in DC. We would love to have you back. Next time you can stay for our neighborhood party and firework show. It was "almost" as good as the one on the Mall.

Great spot to call home.

Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Jennifer - property manager communication with us was quick and her efforts are to make our stay at Colorful DC are evident in supplies, comfort and all the extras that are provided with our stay at Colorful DC. The description of the place was exact and the easy commute to our destination everyday was easy and perfect.

DC sightseeing

Jennifer was extremely helpful! Based on her recommendations we tried a couple of restaurants within walking distance. It was great to have free parking and we really utilized public transit. This was very much a no frills place, but clean and had a nice shower. Really had everything we needed for our purposes.

Very relaxing

This was a relaxing stay. Everything is modern. The property manager was superb. And the location was fine. I was in town mostly for work and worked from the house and saw the cherry blossoms after. It rained one day and i enjoyed staying in and binging tv.

Girls trip

My two teen daughters and I loved this apartment. Small, yet spacious, clean, organized, tastefully/colorfully decorated and believe it or not, very bright for the basement! Fully loaded kitchen with dishes, cutlery, and new appliances. Loved being able to make our ownbreakfast.
