Washaki Cabin is the quintessential cozy Montana log cabin! This well-appointed cabin awaits your next Big Sky Escape! Located just minutes (.5 miles) from Big Sky Resort and nestled in a wooded area prime for wildlife viewing, the cabin is great for couples seeking a few days away from it all to take in the breathtaking views of Lone Peak. The owner lives on-site in a nearby main house, approximately 50 yards from this cabin, with a shared driveway.

Big Sky, Montana, is the perfect place for a vacation in WINTER or SUMMER! Big Sky Resort, "America's Biggest Skiing," offers winter enthusiasts 5800 acres, a 4,350 ft vertical drop, and an average annual snowfall of 400 inches. Lone Peak, at 11,166 feet, offers challenging runs, iconic chutes, and magic carpets at the base, which provide kid-friendly beginner runs.

In the summer, enjoy Yellowstone National Park, fly fishing in the blue-ribbon trout streams, white-water rafting, Arnold Palmer golf course, mountain biking, zip-lining, hiking, or just chill in the mountains of southwest Montana. Washaki Cabin is only an hour from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, with its abundant wildlife. Venture a few miles down the mountain to Big Sky Town Center for free concerts, farmers markets, and weekly special events throughout the summer!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Big Sky Cabin. Everything was perfect for our stay. The cabin has the most beautiful view of Lone Peak and the ski area. The location to go skiing is convenient. It is just a quick drive to the free parking lots with the free shuttles to the resort center. We hope to stay here next year.

Great place to stay close to the mountain village. Lots of windows to have great views of Lone Peak and the mountain village. Helpful and supportive host. Amenities were great and included everything you might need but bring your own coffee. Enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful place to stay. Nice for a honeymoon cabin. It was very clean and relaxing. Was well stocked in everything you needed to use for cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry.

Great cabin!

We had a great stay! This cabin had all we needed to cook and relax! We will definitely come back and look for this cabin again! The cookies left ar the cabin by the manager were delicious!

Great Location!

This was my return to Big Sky after first skiing here in 1997 when the original tram was new.The cabin has an amazing view of Lone Peak (when visibility allows) and is a quick drive down to the parking lots.I would definitely stay here again!

Cute place

Property was in a good location in Big Sky. Size of place; kitchen, living room perfect for a couple. King bed would have been good- knew going in! Was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay!

Washaki Cabin is Wonderful.

Washaki Cabin is outstanding. Great (beautiful) location. Clean, modern and comfortable. Every amenity. Cozy! We will stay here again for sure.

Wonderful cabin

Loved staying at this cute, comfy cabin with great views and easy access to Big Sky resort. Both upstairs bed and sofa bed were comfy, kitchen well stocked with cutlery/sharp knives etc. excellent lighting. Very nice, friendly owner who lives up the hill. Would definitely stay here again when skiing Big Sky.
