Retiro Kendall - Cabaña de troncos de 3 recámaras cerca de Deep Creek Lake y resorts Nemacolin

Thank you for your feedback. To assure; there is an 'honor box' system of firewood about 1/2 mile South of the cabin on RT 42 (left out of driveway) and you will see it on the right hand side of RT 42. In addition, almost every store/gas station/grocery store/etc at the Deep Creek Resort area offers firewood for sale. ...Again, so happy that you got to enjoy the amenities and relaxation offered at the cabin and we welcome you back anytime!

Indeed the Ping Pong area can provide for lots of fun and even some embarrassment (for me, anyway, as I stink at Ping Pong). September is an awesome time to explore the forest behind the house and we hope you enjoyed as many of the amenities as you could. Come see us again soon!

WOW! Sounds like we hit it out of the park for your visit! Thanks for the feedback and we sure look forward to hosting you again on a future visit to our area! You came in March - check out our Autumn Season - you won't be disappointed!

Thank you for your kind words and we are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. The ping pong table - unfortunately it was broken shortly before your visit and we apologize that we did not let you know - the replacement is expected to be in place this week! It certainly makes for nice evening entertainment! Again, much appreciate your feedback and you were a lovely guest!

Thank you for being our guest and we hear your feedback ref: TV's. The DWand microwave seem to be in good order and many guests since your visit have had success at use (along with us) but we will certainly monitor to see if a problem pops up. Thanks for the feedback. We found the downstairs heat ducts close and the upstairs open after your visit - we corrected and should not be a problem for future Winter guests. Again, thanks for your comments and we are listening so that we can give a home-run to future guests!

Thank you for your feedback. . Certainly one of the 'negatives' of a wood burning fireplace (there are MANY positives to offset the negatives) is that 'downdraft' caused by atmospheric issues can cause a smoke odor in the cabin; however it generally goes away with opening of windows or actually using the fireplace (after opening the damper). . The dishwasher was tested and does work; however it can be deceiving as it has long pauses between cycles. Sorry for that confusion. . Overall so glad that you had a good visit and we hope to host you again on your next visit to our area.

Thank you for your honest feedback and we appreciate what great guests you were! The 12 acres referenced is actually part of the "Yough River Wild & Scenic Corridor" and can indeed be challenging hiking the trail to the river as it is on the side of the mountain; however as you discovered, Garrett County offers an abundance of more gentle hiking opportunities a short drive away. We hope to host you and your group again. Please do mention to us if you choose to visit again your hiking desires and we will gladly leave you some hiking trail info at the cabin that may be most appropriate for you.

Very happy you were able to still enjoy the Garrett County beauty even if it was chilly (March can be a guessing game in our mountain community; we wouldn't be surprised to see snow nor would it surprise us to have scorching temps in the 70's)
