This ocean view 3 Bedroom plus a loft style bedroom, 3 bathroom condo has the best location in Tamarindo. Great views of the ocean, pristine garden area and 10,000 SF Free form pool. Spacious balcony, with plenty of outdoor seating and a gas BBQ grill for your personal use. This condo is located within the Diria Resort--the only Beachfront Resort in Tamarindo. Within the Diria Resort there are two different common areas, one for condo guests and the second one for hotel guests only. As a guest of the condo, you have access to the 10,000 square foot free-form pool right in front of the condo only, where you can enjoy access to the Tamarindo beach through the Diria Resort property, including access to Diria shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet is not included in the rate but is available for an additional cost subject to availability.

The rest of the hotel amenities such as towels, Tropicana pool, lounge chairs and gym are only available for hotel guests. We provide pool and beach towels and foldable chairs specifically for your use within the condo area. completely free of charge, ensuring that you have everything you need right in your condo. With over 1800 SF of living area, there is plenty of room for your group to spread out and relax. Master Bedroom has a King Bed and private bath. Guest bedroom has a queen bed. There is also a spacious upstairs loft area with a king size bed and private bathroom. Need a travel crib? No problem! Just reach out our concierge team to arrange one. Keep in mind they are subjected to availability and have an additional charge.

Spacious living and dining area which features a sleeper sofa, flat screen TV and ocean views. Large flat screen TV in family room, cable TV, high speed WiFi, phone and A/C. Both bedrooms are very spacious. Inside washer/dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked and features all cooking utensils and supplies. The property has an in-room safe as well as 24 hour security, and secure parking. As a guest of this property, we also include a complimentary welcome basket with coffee, coffee filters, salt, pepper, cooking oil, shampoo/soaps, are all included. The house is FULLY stocked with other bonus items for your personal use such as beach towels, folding beach chairs, a cooler and more!!!

Excellent location

Absolutely gorgeous resort. Incredible location, close to beach and shops, in the heart of the city but this unit felt private and secluded. Great end unit with spectacular views and set back enough that it was quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again for sure!

Great stay

The property was perfect for our family of four (two teenagers) as everyone had their own room. The location was excellent within walking distance to everything (rarely needed car). We had a couple of minor incidents requiring management who were accessible, fast acting, and delivered on promises. Overall I would say the stay exceeded expectations. Some negative reviews on this property caused some concern but after staying here I would stay again with no problem. The only negative is the stairs. The condo sits above the street plus stairs. We are in average shape and it was taxing after a few days. If you are overweight, older, or have some disability this may be of concern. Otherwise, this unit is great. Monkeys right off the balcony almost every day!

Amazing location & fantastic trip

It was our 1st trip to Costa Rica and a trip that was being planned for a few years. The entire experience was amazing. The condominium exceeded our expectations, the pictures and layout clearly matched the description, the house was cleaned and meticulous on our arrival. The beach chairs and towels allowed us to pack much leaner for the trip. We couldn't have had a better time and blue zone was a critical part of great experience.

Ideal resort location in Tamarindo

Fantastic unit in an even greater location. The rooms were just as advertised and exactly what our party of 6 (3 couples) needed. The resort amenities alone that came with our stay made this rental a 10/10 - the Diria Resort is incredible. The best part though was that we were walking distance to literally every restaurant, bar, beach access, etc. that we wanted to go to. Couldn't have asked for a better stay in Tamarindo.

Avoid this property at all costs!

Just about everything that can go wrong with a rental, went wrong. We have rented dozens of places through VRBO and this is the worst experience we ever had and the only one where we requested a credit. The HVAC never worked. Imagine, no AC in 90 degree weather. The property management company sent a technician out three separate times, and each time the AC would be fixed for a few hours and would shut off again. We finally had enough and left the property early, and even spent another day during our stay at another property. The management company claimed that we were adjusting up the thermostat and did not issue a credit. Imagine that! We are filing a legal claim against all parties. On top of no AC, the condo’s furniture looks like it came from our old dorm room. The kitchen is old, and the entire place is musty and damp. Unless you want the worst experience of your life, stay away from this unit…and stay away from any property managed by Bluezone Experience. 0 out of 10 stars!

No Elevator.. 3rd Floor Unit !!

Did I mention there was not an elevator ?!?! .. after dragging our bags up a muddy and rocky driveway up hill and unit is located on the 3rd floor with no elevator .. ugh … Each of us women carry our 50 pounds bags up three flights of stairs was not a great welcome . Unit is dark and need of updating . Couch is way past it’s life and bathroom fixtures are moldy and old . The location is close to beach and common property is beautiful.. pool with swim up bar is wonderful. Close to food market and downtown stores , clubs and restaurants. There are cleaner newer unit with elevator in same property that I would highly recommend renting one of them . .. This unit was sadly disappointing and the 3 flights of stairs to them have to take another 3 flights down to get to the pool was inconvenient and not recommended.

The location and view were great. The unit could use some more lighting or bulbs replaced, it was a little dark. It was nice to have 3 bathrooms. Check in was a little tough, only because the security guard was not at their post when we arrived. That was the only time we did not see someone there. Someone who worked at the resort let us in. The road and driveway to the unit was dirt and rocks. We were constantly washing our fee, because it was so dusty. Rolling suitcases along the dirt driveway was not fun. The building is older and does not have an elevator. It is tough to get suitcases up and down. The upstairs loft if really nice, however in the pictures you can see it has a spiral staircase. It is very narrow and again, very hard to get a 50lb suitcase up or down. I'm 5'8 and the ceiling going on to the landing is low and I hit my head. The loft also has plexiglass, so there really isn't very much privacy for the individuals staying up there. You can see them lying in bed from downstairs. Even at night you can see the reflection in the sliding glass doors of the upstairs loft. It would be fine for young kids or people who don't sleep in or need privacy. The loft did have a separate AC unit, which was nice. The WiFi name and password should be posted in the unit. I had to email the manager to get it and at first was given the wrong password, but eventually got it straightened out. The hotel will give you the resort Wifi info if you ask. While we were there, there was leak in the washing machine and the management promptly replaced it. Beach chairs were provided and an ice chest. However the there are many flights of stairs you need to go down to, to get to the pool (I counted 10). I read that the unit did not have a dishwasher in the past, and it has one now, but you can't lower the door all the way down, because the refrigerator blocks it. The pool area was nice. But they did not have enough lounge chairs for the amount of people. Lots of people come up from the Diria resort to use the big pool . We had red wrist bands and they had white. By the way if you get sunscreen on your wrist band it breaks down the color and will stain your clothes. Anway, the white banded people could use the pools in our area, but we could not use the pool at the resort, or the lounge chairs at the resort. The adult pool near the condo is kind of hidden thankfully and has a swim up bar and more chairs available.

Nice location.

The property is in a perfect location. And having access to the pool was a really nice touch. They had a swim up bar that was really nice and my boys absolutely loved the chicken fingers they had there. Check in was super easy. I did get a little turned around but have them send you the GPS location and then you won’t have any issues. The balcony is really nice and the sunset view is fantastic. We had our son stay upstairs and he loved it. The dishwasher was a nice touch. So was the washer and dryer. And parking was key. No issues as the property is gated.

Was a great stay in tamarindo! Perfect location, saw monkeys several times while there, but still in a very nice location for ease of walking and taking it all in! The unit was very clean, nice set up… girls loved the loft! Would totally stay here again!

Nice beach town experience

Our family had an memorable holiday in Tamarindo! The location of the condo was excellent, just a short walk away from everything in town and the beach. We enjoyed the pool, just down the steps, and spent quality time in this “family pool” with our three boys. The ac wasn’t working properly when we arrived. We contacted the property manager and a nice repair crew showed up quickly and had the system running soon after. Overall, the condo was a great fit for our fun-loving family of five.

Wonderful Stay!

Our family of 4 adults stayed at the Diria 301 over New Year's 2018/19. We loved the location, right in town and a short walk to the beach, restaurants, grocery store, and shops. We found plenty of places to eat while wandering down the beach and never needed reservations. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and the view it offered, especially on New Year's Eve with an amazing fireworks display down the entire stretch of coast. The condo was quiet, very clean, and well equipped - the description and pictures were accurate. Toiletries, dish soap, tissue, paper towels, and cooking oil were provided. (Bring zip lock bags, as flushing tp is not environmentally friendly in CR.) The use of the washer and dryer was great. There were several beach towels in the unit along with beach chairs and a cooler. The beds were comfortable as was the rest of the furniture. Decor was up to date with lots of seating. A/C and wifi worked fine. We felt safe with the gated entrances and security staffing the property. The grounds were well kept. We opened an account at the main Diria Resort front desk so we could use the swim up bar and beach restaurant and closed the tab at the end of our stay (you could also pay as you went). The pools for our complex were clean and the perfect temperature. We tried out the adult pool but preferred the family pool. The 1 family of howler monkeys was only active briefly one morning - fun for our 18 year old daughter to hear as she slept in the front room, our 20 year old son in the loft slept through it. The property manager was prompt with answering our questions and provided excellent customer service - even meeting us at the resort gate instead of at their office to pick up the keys because traffic was terrible coming into town on a busy holiday/concert weekend. They arranged our transport from Monteverde and to Liberia airport which was appreciated. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Unbeatable location, fantastic views

Highly recommend this property - fantastic ocean view for sunsets as well as howler monkeys in the trees next door. Great convenient location to a great pool and beach access a block away to one of the best beaches in CR and close to everything in town. Blue Water Properties were wonderful help in booking tours as well as providing information on the condo and area. The only reason this is a 4 instead of a 5 is that there's no dishwasher - not a problem for us 3 couples as someone always did up a few dishes - and we ate most dinners at beachfront restaurants. We really appreciated the 3 bathrooms with 6 people staying. The fabulous location and amenities make this property well worth booking. Pura Vida!
