The Gowdy Manor is located in the Historic district of Lake City Co. A spacious 6 bedroom 4 bath home with a large kitchen and a lobby room full of entertainment. Located downtown on the corner of Gunnison Ave and 5th St provides ample OHV parking and is located 2 blocks from center of town, restaurants,pubs, shopping and entertainment.

The Manor now has high speed internet through Star link.

Need more room? Inquire about the Gowdy Studio or The Gowdy Apartment. Both are located on the same property The studio sleeps 4 and Apartment sleeps 6. We also offer The Bonnie Rose which is located 1 block over on the corner of Silver and 6th street it is a 5 bedroom 2 bath home which sleeps 12 TLCNR12

We really enjoyed our stay at the Gowdy Manor in Lake City. It was super clean, and the host was great — easy to talk to, quick to communicate, and gave us helpful tips on where to go and good places to eat. It felt comfortable and welcoming the whole time.

House was clean and we found it just as advertised. Pet friendly with a great fenced backyard for the pets. Great place for a large group. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved our stay and the mountains are awesome.oved our stay.

Stay was just what we needed. House was very accommodating. Host was phenomenal. He was very quick to respond and when we needed anything Jim was there helping out. He made the whole booking process simple and easy. Highly recommend!!! Thanks for excellent service!

This place was perfect for our group of 9 motorcyclists traveling through the beautiful Colorado mountains. Home has a large kitchen for group card games or eating. The host couldn’t have been more accommodating; highly recommend it.

The hosts have very thoughtfully offered a beautiful, peaceful property full of character. It is a combination of comfort, unique antiques and history. It's a great gathering place for friends and family, kids included. The central location in town makes it ideal for enjoying Lake City and convenient to the beautiful lake. We were glad to discover this unspoiled region of Colorado and would love to return. The house had everything we needed and the hosts were very helpful and responsive.

This place is great place for large family groups and it is in the middle of Lake City; everything within walking distance. Our host , Jim, was very helpful and had a lot of good tips about town and local activities. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect location - plenty of space

This house is in the perfect location to walk to town or walk to the river. The yard is great for kids. There are plenty of beds to accommodate a large group. We will definitely be returning!

Great location and perfect access to Alpine Loop. Held our large family well. Kitchen well-stocked. Bed was comfy. Most importantly, lots of parking!

If you’re looking for the perfect home base to explore the Alpine Loop, look no further. Our group of 13 spent an unforgettable week here, and this house exceeded every expectation.The home was spotless, spacious, and incredibly well-equipped. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dogs. The location couldn’t have been better—close to all the incredible trails and scenic beauty that make Lake City so special. After long days exploring the Alpine Loop, it was a joy to come back, relax, share stories, and enjoy the peaceful mountain setting.Our family and friends made memories we’ll treasure for a lifetime, and this home played a huge part in that experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lake City. Thank you for providing such an amazing place for our Colorado adventure!

Fit 10 folks great!

We loved this house. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, 4 baths, fenced in yard for our 2 dogs. We cooked every night. The local country store was good for our groceries!

Jim’s property is the perfect place to stay in Lake City. We were only 3 people but this would be a great spot for a family gathering. I grew up in a historical part of CT so this home took me back to my childhood surroundings. We rode motorcycles there and Jim offered to bring over 3 pieces of wood for our kickstands to park in the wet gravel. He really went above and beyond and was a great host! Plenty of coffee and things to cook with if that’s important to you!

Amazing Experience

What a beautiful house and an excellent vacation! Jim is amazing, responding immediately to any questions, ensuring everything that was needed was provided. I loved the house, being a history teacher. Apparently summer is the better time to be in Lake City, but I certainly enjoyed it during winter and would 1000% stay with Jim and Dana again!

Main Street Lake City Big Group Party House!

Absolutely loved the owners! Jim and Dana were some of the nicest people in the State. They let us tour the place a couple months before our scheduled stay. Boy, do they keep it stocked! You got everything you need here. Plenty of towels and toilet paper were the biggest things for me. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're a big group in Lake City.
