It was a beautiful little cottage for us to rest after all our adventures! We had so much fun looking at the fish in the fountain. Definitely recommend anyone stay here!

The property and neighborhood are amazing. Kate is a great host and very responsive. Plenty to do nearby or just stay on the property. This was our second trip this year, can’t wait to go again.

Property was very historic and cool. That being said - it’s very historic so for my tall guy it was a bit tight and the stairs to the bedroom are tricky! You have to also be prepared for the Texas bugs as there is just no keeping them out of a historic home. Hosts John and Kate are awesome. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Had a great weekend at the cottage. A great place to stay if you want to get out of the city. The town of Grey Forest is beautiful. The cottage was great for my Wife and I. My only gripe was parking as my wife and I had to drive up separately, but that was hardly an issue as 3 cars can fit back there if your careful.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! It has a very comfortable king bed and great shower with amazing water pressure. Although we did not cook any meals during our stay, the kitchen looked fully outfitted with everything you would need. Beautiful property in the quaint town of Grey Forest!

This house was perfect for my husband and I. It is in a good, quiet location yet near enough to drive into San Antonio, Boerne, and other towns.

This cottage is nicely located in a quiet neighborhood yet close to town and all the necessities. A great gas station and convenience store (QT) is easily accessible just a couple miles towards Helotes. Walmart and HEB, along with plenty of shops and restaurants are located nearby. A Par 3 golf course is also close and can be played into the night as it is lighted for night play. Highly recommend you bring some golf clubs.

Quaint stone cottage in quiet area outside of town. Beautiful outdoor patios with lots of seating. Nearby hiking. Excellent choice for a couple who want to relax and unwind.

Absolute perfection! Quiet, clean and cozy. I travel a lot for work and prefer a homier environment than what a hotel room can offer. This cottage had every amenity I needed and was so quiet and restful. The owners were very communicative and accommodating. It is so close to everything San Antonio has to offer but tucked away so neatly you would think you are in a remote hill country cabin. Will definitely return on my next trip to SA.

My husband and I loved our stay here. The location was perfect. The cottage was so quiet and had all we needed and then some. We enjoyed the outdoor patio in the evenings so much. Definitely would stay here again if our plans are in the area.
