Jhane’s place made for a perfect home base for a visit to Lackland AFB. Although on the other side of town, it’s a quick 20 min drive to a quiet, safe, and convenient community. The HEB and other retailers are also close, making runs super convenient.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Excellent communication, property was clean, comfortable, quiet and exactly as described. Had a Texas Hill Country feel while being close to everything that San Antonio has to offer without having to be miles away, a win-win.

This was our second stay at this place and we had a wonderful restful time with the deer and owls and birds. The accommodations were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming.

The house was beautiful and everything we needed was furnished. It is the best location with huge oak trees in the yard and deer roaming around. It is really quiet and peaceful yet really close to HEB and all the shopping stores just a few blocks away. It is the perfect location for a relaxing stay in San Antonio. Our cousin who lives in San Antonio could not believe the location and just loved visiting with us while we were in town. We definitely will stay here again when we are visiting San Antonio.

Hosts are exceptional and even alerted me to a problem with my car that likely saved me a jump start the next morning!The home is peaceful and in a beautiful natural setting and has everything you need and nothing you don't. It's my favorite place to stay in SA!

This is a wonderful gem tucked away in a great little neighborhood. It's close to everything in San Antonio and when they say you can watch deer stroll by it isn't like a hopeful, one time thing. It's whenever you're there. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make your own food and there's an HEB and Starbucks just a few minutes away. Beautiful place and great hosts.

Good place to stay

Everything was really nice and the property managers were really easy to get ahold of if I needed anything overall I would stay here again.

Relaxing stay

This is our second time staying here and very comfortable as always. The property is very clean and quiet. We enjoyed watching all the wildlife from the back porch and eating at the table in the back. We will stay here again for sure.

Gorgeous location; friendly hosts

Lovely and quiet

The villa was very cozy. We enjoyed the quiet and loved seeing all the deer that wandered around the property.

Quiet and relaxing

San Antonio Oakland Estates

The owners were easy to work with. The house is adorable and easily accessible. Everything about our stay was enjoyable. We recommend this home and would definitely stay here again.

Adorable house in the woods!

Beautifully decorated and fully stocked with all the amenities you need. Jhane is a wonderful host who has literally thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We will definitely be staying here again.

Business Trip

Guest house located on a spacious property with total privacy. The two bedroom cottage had everything I needed for a comfortable stay and was located conveniently near a highway with 15 access to downtown/riverwalk. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The hosts are wonderful and go above and beyond to accommodate their guests.

Annual Texas Visit

We have stayed in many San Antonio homes over the years and this is the best by far. Perfect for my wife and I and the price is more than fair. Jhane and Gordon are exceptional hosts and we are looking forward to staying with them again next year.

March getaway

Wonderful property and the hosts were exceptional and made us feel welcome. The accommodations were very comfortable, especially enjoyed the recliner and reclining sofa. Kitchen was well stocked. We will be back!
