Beautiful custom built 3 bedroom + loft space, 2 full bath home located in the Catskill Park at the edge of the Rusk Mountain Wild Forest Preserve. Features open floor plan with chef's kitchen and loft. The basement is finished and offers additional living space with couch, TV, corn hole and Pop Shot basketball. This secluded home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and is situated on 2.5 acres of open field and woodlands. The home features views of the surrounding forest and nearby mountains, a natural landscape bordered by historic stone walls. Fire pit with seating for six, deck with weber grill and central air conditioning.

Minutes from the quaint town of Jewett, NY (pop. 953), Windham and Hunter the location provides access to a wide range of activities year round, and is ideal for families, couples and friends.

The cabin was gorgeous, well equipped and exactly as described. My family had an amazing long summer weekend here and would definitely come back! Super convenient location to tons of hiking, lakes, restaurants.

Impeccably clean, well-appointed, beautiful cabin in a great location. While it was quiet and private, it was only 10 minutes to Windham and Hunter. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return!

This is a wonderful place to stay!

The house is exactly as described, beautifully decorated and with lots of room to spread out both inside and outside. It's in a peaceful setting with easy access to skiing, hiking, and dining and it's super clean and well stocked. We plan to rent again.

Cute Cozy Cabin

We stayed here for a quick ski/snowboard trip with some friends and the atmosphere was amazing! The cabin was so cute and cozy and we already talked about trying to stay again in the future! Austin was a super attentive host and very good about communicating updates about the property and stay! 10/10 would recommend staying here!

Beautiful, comfortable and relaxing

Four of us celebrated Thanksgiving weekend in this lovely cabin in Jewett on a snowy weekend. From the first “Wow!” when we walked in we had a fantastic time. Two thumbs up.

Exactly as advertised! The beautiful property in the woods provided privacy, peace and quiet. The house was exceptionally clean and allergen free. Excellent location for quick access to Hunter & Windham resorts for hiking and tourist attractions. Quick and easy communication with property manager. We had a wonderful vacation and plan to return.

We had a wonderful week in the mountains at Haus Edelweiss in late July… despite the historic rains and flooding in the region! We were high and (somewhat) dry in the house location. Hey, if it’s going to rain, you may as well be in a beautiful, quiet home, and close to some good dining options. The house was immaculate, spacious, and well-appointed, without being too fussy with the furnishings and decorations. Lovely interior with everything we needed, and the water in the home was high quality, so no need to bring your own. Nice private deck out back right off the kitchen/living room area for watching the occasional wildlife or taking in the stars… or you can enjoy the view from the home’s large windows. The large open kitchen/dining/living area meant we were not tripping over each other, as is sometimes the case in vacation rentals. The home has plenty of seating for dining and a large finished walk-out basement/family entertainment area — perfect for families with kids. This house had everything we needed for a carefree stay in the Catskills. Our host was very responsive to any message we sent before our trip, and we did not need to contact him at all during our stay — everything was as promised, and check-in and check-out were a breeze. (Did we say it was immaculate? We did… and it REALLY was!) We hope to be back!

Immaculate Mountain Retreat

Very roomy house in the mountains. Has everything you need for a mountain retreat in the Catskills. The cabin is super clean. Kids loved the firepit as well as the games downstairs. We would definitely return!

Our family loves being outdoors, hiking, biking and skiing as well as returning home and enjoying a glass of wine in front of the fireplace!
