Sarah is on top of things. This was our 9th, yes 9th, year back at the Fox Den. Every year we are so impressed with the cabin and the area. It’s the right amount of quiet and there is a lot to do in the area. We had a great stay as usual. What more can I say. Fabulous time Fabulous accommodations.

Absolutely lovely home! The host was incredibly accommodating and got back to us very quickly. Perfect for a quiet summer getaway or hiking trip. And my dog probably had an even better time than me!

The Fox Den cabin was a perfect place for a long weekend away for some late season skiing and family time! Super cozy and well appointed for families with kids. Will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful cabin with a well-appointed kitchen and very well located within a short distance of many local parks, restaurants and attractions. The owners are very responsive and were very quick to fix issues. We would love to return next summer!

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Fox Den in Shandaken. From the moment we arrived, the host, Sarah, went above and beyond to ensure our visit was seamless.The home itself is beautiful, spotless, and peaceful- exactly the kind of retreat we were hoping for. To say the kitchen is fully stocked, is an understatement - it has everything you could possibly need and more! We are looking forward to coming back again!

Perfect cabin

Really nice cabin. It’s very quiet and private, but only 15 minutes to great hikes, restaurants and activities. The home is well stocked, very clean and comfortable.

Everything about this house was perfect. I loved it. We had a wonderful relaxing stay and honestly didn't want to leave. I was there with my brother moving family nearby and the home was a welcome respite at the end of long days. The house is so cozy and comfortable- it didn't feel like a rental at all.

Amazing Christmas cabin vacation!

Absolutely gorgeous house, spacious and clean, well-stocked kitchen, cozy fireplace with plenty of firewood...everything we needed for a memorable Christmas trip to the Catskills. We also had to book last minute because our original house fell through, and owner was super accommodating and responsive! Definitely would stay again if we're back in the area.

Peaceful retreat

The house is beautiful - a picture perfect cabin with all the supplies you need. We really enjoyed the fireplace and porch and found everything we needed in the kitchen. We had a great time hiking in the area and found great restaurants as well. This is a great place to relax and drink in nature.

Fox Den Family Vacation

The property is beautiful and perfect for a multi-generation family vacation. The owners thought of every little detail to make vacation perfect and easy including a fully stocked kitchen, crib, booster seat, toys and puzzles. Definitely encourage others to book this hidden gem.

Wonderful stay!

We stayed with friends (2 families of 4 with kids age 14-17) for Belleayre ski weekend. Had a wonderful stay at the house!Love the cozy fires, well equipped kitchen and rustic cabin ambiance! The owner is super responsive and communicative. Absolutely loved our time at the Fox Den!

Cozy Getaway

We had a wonderful stay on the mountain. We experienced excellent communication with our host. The home was clean and accommodating. We especially enjoyed board games in the sun room. We'd love to visit again.

Cozy winter ski vacation

This is a wonderfully appointed and comfy cabin close to ski areas. Great secluded cabin but close to 28 on very well plowed and sanded road. Great for kids and adults. Well appointed kitchen and plenty of places to spread out. Highly recommend this rental!Thank you!

Wonderful Log Cabin

We had the best time at this cabin. Perfect place to unplug and relax. The house is spacious and clean and the fire pit is awesome! Would love to come back again
