A quick 20-mile drive puts you on the charming streets of downtown Boise, where you can wander through the shops and check out the delicious dining options. You'll be close to Miller Gulch and Dry Creek Trails, and just over 30 miles from Lucky Peak Reservoir. And of course, you're mere steps from ski slopes for all experience levels.

In the winter you'll be able to dive into the fresh powder and blaze your own path down the slopes at the Bogus Basin Ski Area. Surf the free WiFi, watch a DVD, or enjoy a nightcap on one of the two balconies of this second-floor condo as the day fades away.

With so many options for fun, the hard part will be knowing where to start when you book your trip to this Idaho home.

Please keep in mind that these condos are up in the mountains and the wifi can and does go in and out, the WiFi connection is often spotty.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Tranquility @ Trailhead was NOT Tranquil at All...

Everything is outdated and falling apart. Broken/old items were shoverd under bunk and in closet. There was a hole in the bedroom ceiling where the light fixture used to be, the lamp in the room was missing a bulb, the bathroom had a ball of hair still in the drain, the coffee table in living room was broken and the hot water in the shower only lasted 5 minutes before turning ice cold. This was one of the worst places I've ever stayed and I'm a big traveler. The only good thing about it, was the view and ski in/out access.

Fantastic location - Perfect humble getaway..

We had a great time at this wonderful condo. We had our 7 month old Cavapoo with us, and finding good, clean homes that allow responsible dog owners is not easy. This was perfect as it had easy beach access, showers, amazing view, and great location.

This is a scam

When I went to book this property, it was listed as $84/night. When I finished the booking, it was over $240. This should have beee my first warning. Where to start? The front door didn't lock, the lights in the bathroom sink area didn't work, the place smelled like an old person died there, and the towels had brown stains on them. Finally-- and I don't know how I feel about this unique feature-- the area is ranched, so there are free range cattle walking around the property. Meaning, cow poop everywhere. I love the communal feel of Bogus as an area, but that would also mean gritty pricing. This ain't worth no $240 in the main season, much less the off season. You should level this entire complex and start over. The area has so much potential. PS, Vacassa BLOWS.

Great Views

The drive up Bogus Basin makes it a great place for Introverts or anyone just trying to get away from The city life. Smaller place and well stocked.

Great setting

Location is great. Hot tub under the stars is wonderful. Our condo's main room's heater didn't work properly, brrrr, bunk bed mattresses were so meager we had to stack 2 on one bed to sleep, pull out couch mattress to uncomfortable to sleep on, oven didn't work (which explained countertop convection unit), but master bedroom was nice. Atmosphere great.

Awesome place to stay poor management

The unit itself was nice, however it wasn’t fully cleaned when we arrived. Food in the refrigerator and dirty sheets in the Ottoman. There was also a leaky toilet that we couldn’t use that had been called in the day we got there and we never saw anybody or heard from anybody to fix it. We also had issues with the heating unit and I called on that but again never heard back from anybody. Location and size and comfort of the unit were great.

Yes to bogus , vacasa needs improvement

The caretaker at the bogus condos , Ryan , was an amazing help ! Vacasa could improve with its customer service - we asked for an extra parking permit in the off season and received no response . We asked for late checkout also in the off season and vacasa said no. Fortunately , Ryan had common sense and friendliness and sense of customer service .

Nice place

We really enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving weekend. Condo had everything we needed and beds were comfy. The only reason I gave it only 4 stars instead of 5 was because we had trouble with the oven so we're weren't able to warm up our food. The bottom element 8n the oven never worked. We did call and they offered to send someone out to fix it but since it was a holiday we didn't really want to bother folks with fixing it. We were able to use the stove just fine and food at the lodge was sufficient so no problem. We enjoyed the hit tub very much and the TV and wifi worked perfectly. We will be back again.

Family Getaway.

The property was okay. It says it accommodates 8. That’s a stretch! It barely fit my family of 4. If you are a big or tall person think twice about renting. Also there were not enough deck chairs for even 4 people. The table outside was broken and useless. The screen door leading to the back patio kept falling off the track and hard to open. We called to have someone fix it. The property manager said they would get someone out there but no one showed up. For a small condo it did have plenty of pots, pans and dishes to accommodate a family meal, Know there is no AC so it was hot in the condo during the day and didn’t cool off until well in the evening. Over all it was a nice family getaway but nothing fancy!

Love this place

Our stay was wonderful! There was plenty of room for us and it isn't too far from Boise. It was very quiet and relaxing. The only thing that I wish it had was a/c because this week was so hot! There was a fan, but man it didn't cool off much at night. It was WAY hotter than normal this week though. Other than that I have no complaints.

Awesome stay

I would give 5 star to this amazing stay but just one thing was missing. Bedding sheets and pillows was provided not for every bed. Other than that was very clean and happy place. Thank you

Weekend getaway

Everything was pretty smooth. But it would have been nice to have property managers number when there was an issue with checkin instead of waiting forever on hold at the 1-800 number.
