Fabulous vacation rental

A great experience in the Jr. Suite on the 22nd floor. Gorgeous view overlooking the waterway and an outdoor patio to watch the beautiful sunset. Comfy bed, very spacious room/bathroom along with a small kitchen and refrigerator. Smooth check-in and check-out. Housekeepers were very attentive and did a great job! I would definitely stay here again.

hotel is just to overrun with conferences and events

Seems every time we go there is some event that takes up all the hotels amenities Been going a few times a year for 20 years Also food and drink prices are just over the top for a place that was over the top to start

Thank you for your feedback and opinion James. Fontainebleau is an iconic venue, enjoyed by thousands of guests, not necessarily known for serenity but rather a vibrant place to be. This is also disclosed in the listing description. A VRBO host does not have any involvement with third party companies and restaurants offering services on the resort, we merely provide sleeping accommodations while offering access to amenities. We understand your frustrations with food and drink prices, regardless the rating does not pertain to the unit or your host.

Hotel nice, fridge could use update

The ice maker on the fridge was not working and there is no ice dispenser on any of the floors.. also there were no blankets for the pull put couch.. the pull out couch was very uncomfortable.. i think this unit is good for only 2 people and not a family of 4…

Overall good but needs better maintenance

The furnishings and location were great, but the maintenance could use a little TLC. Pros: great location, hotel is grand, very roomie with Jr.suite space, fantastic view of sunsets over the canals, high quality overall Cons: the wear and tear of a rental facility is showing and it does not appear to be regularly maintained. For the price ($$) we expected a more pristine room. Examples: walls are scuffed and need new paint, lamp shade is torn, caulk in shower is peeling and black, shower soap holders torn off wall, no trash can in kitchenette - had to use tiny bathroom can for all trash, toilet was replaced but plumbing is sticking out and toilet lid does not fit, ceiling cracking, etc… Nice location, but we expected better overall look and upkeep of the facility.
