The lakefront estate in Lebanon, Tennessee, is most widely recognized as the former home of award-winning artist, actor and author Reba McEntire, but today, The Estate at Cherokee Dock is a luxury event venue for elegant weddings, exquisite galas, corporate celebrations, private retreats, family reunions, charitable fundraisers and any other ceremonial events you can creatively conceptualize.

The Estate at Cherokee Dock is a 13-acre waterfront estate, complete with a 13,000-square-foot Southern colonial home, luxury stable, pool and well-appointed pool house. This rental includes exclusive access to the mansion, pool and pool house.

Surrounded by Old Hickory Lake, this legendary estate offers expansive water views from almost every room. The thirteen-acre property is within minutes to world-class spas, restaurants, and entertainment.

The main house is spacious with over 13,000 square feet, yet the rooms are designed to provide a cozy and intimate ambiance. Five of the seven bedrooms in the main house are en-suite with their own bath. The estate boasts immaculate indoor entertaining spaces including, a theater, wine room, parlor, and separate family and formal living rooms.

The kitchen was designed with a chef in mind, thus professional quality: 10' island, 2 dishwashers, Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer, 34” wide Wolf convection oven with separate warming drawer, 60” Wolf double convection oven and 6 burner gas range, grill and griddle.

Currently there are two king bedrooms, four queen bedrooms and one queen bedroom with twin daybed and trundle.

The large back patio for outdoor entertaining provides magnificent views of the lake. The property includes a large heated pool (seasonal) with built-in lounging deck and spa surrounded by beautiful, lush gardens. Along with Sonos speakers, umbrellas, lounge chairs, outdoor dining table and a propane fire pit, it's the perfect place to relax in the sun listening to your favorite artists. Enjoy breakfast as the sun comes up, or entertain guests for a truly spectacular gourmet dinner. The pool house includes separate bathrooms for ladies and gentlemen, swimsuit dryer, and a climate-controlled bar/lounge area.

Two private balconies are complete with an outdoor sofa, dining tables and lounge chairs for relaxing and enjoying the view of the spectacular lake. The master balcony also is equipped with a stunning wood-burning fireplace.

The Estate is equipped with a private boat dock. A great spot for fishing.

LOCATION UNPARALLELED: We are conveniently located to Nashville, yet the property is secluded and private. Our location affords easy access and touring of downtown Nashville, 30-minute drive.

PARTICULARS: We have a caretaker who lives on a neighboring property, so unlike most VRBO rentals, we are always available to help.

We do not allow pets of any kind. Smoking is only allowed in outside designated areas. Smoking inside or within 10 feet of any building on the property will constitute immediate forfeiture of the entire damage deposit.

CHECK-IN is guaranteed by 4:00 p.m. and checkout is at 10:00 a.m. We are happy to accommodate early check-ins and late checkouts, but cannot make any guarantees until one week prior to arrival in case the house is occupied on your arrival or departure date. Additional fees will apply.

RATES: Subject to change. The rates shown are reflective of Main House, pool, and pool house. Rates do not include Special Event fees (see below), guest house, stables, tented areas, catering kitchen, tent area bathrooms, or tent storage area. Our Guest House can be rented for an additional charge and sleeps an additional 7 guests.

EVENTS: The size and scope of this property afford a unique venue choice for weddings, wine tasting events, dinner parties, and ceremonies. The rates shown are reflective of overnight guest fees only for up to 16 overnight guests. If you are interested in hosting an event or party during your stay you must contact our sales office prior to booking. Additional fees and requirements will apply.

VENUE: We are a fully operating, year-round, wedding and event venue. This means that there is a possibility of people coming in and out of the property. When renting the mansion, this does not entail the entirety of the 13 acres it is on. There is a possibility of a tour for potential clients happening on any given day, but we will do our best to avoid any interruption of your stay, and we will not tour the inside of the mansion during your stay with us.
