Holiday Island

The house was very comfortable for our family and needs. The Holiday Island neighborhood was fabulous! We had deer in our yard and got to see views of Table Rock Lake around the island.

Pet Friendly

The condo is pet friendly but does have a slight urine smell to it. It was a nice quiet place to stay and clean. Wi-Fi information was not accurate.

Home away from home

We enjoyed our stay . We loved location & how close it was to downtown Eureka springs . The condo was very cute and old fashioned . Reminded of of our grandparents house . My poor dad got the room with fiddle & he said his back was so sore from the bed being so hard . Normally when you see a place that has a fire place you expect your gonna be able to have a fire well we didnt get experience that.. overall this place was great & had all the amenities of a hotel ..we definitely felt like home & we would come back .

Holiday Island get away

Overall the property was great ,very nice location .The only hiccup was getting into property .We had to wait outside for about 30 minutes while customer service got hold of the host to them to text me the key code.I didn't get a email form host with key code and this is the second time this has happen. There should be an option to text code to customer.

I am not one who normally complains, but our experience with Michael at Holiday Island Rentals, who manages this VRBO, was atrocious. The first night, I pulled the comforter back on the bed to find bloody sheets. Disgusting. There were no spare sheets to be found, and since it was nighttime, I put a towel down over it and tried to sleep. The towel smelled like mildew and there was still the smell of blood. I ended up on the couch. In addition, I pulled a bowl out of the cupboard and it was sticky. I called Holiday Island Rentals and spoke to Michael. He offered no apology but I was told someone would come change the sheets. A few hours later, Michael came to change the sheets and leave clean towels. Still no apology. I told him I would like a refund for that night considering the inconvenience. A week later, nothing. I called Michael to more firmly request a refund for that night’s stay. He was rude to me on the phone and said he would look into it upon his return to the office. That was the exact same thing he said to me when I tried to cancel a different reservation months ago, and I ended up having to call him multiple times to finally receive what I was rightfully owed. I am left to deduce that Michael is taking the VRBO cleaning fee and not actually hiring a cleaning company. No cleaner would have made a bed with bloody sheets and put away sticky dishes. We shall see if I get a refund for the night’s stay but VRBO needs to know they have a problem here.

Great Stay on Holiday Island!

This location met all of our needs. We needed a place with no stairs for my MIL. It was clean, kitchen had everthing we needed. Plenty of detergent for a couple loads of laundry and running the dishwasher. It's a very quiet area, not much traffic. Our only complaint came from our son,.who slept on the pullout couch in the living room. The mattress on the couch is extremely thin and uncomfortable. He was also awakened very early every morning from the sunlight coming in the skylights. We would stay again, but only if we did not need to use the sleeper sofa.

We enjoyed our stay at this location! A public pool is a short walk away! Cost is 6 per day to swim in a really clean cool and it’s not busy! We went to the pier right up the road and let my daughter fish! 20 min drive and we made it into Eureka Springs to shop and eat home made ice cream!The location was clean! Fully equipped kitchen! The back porch had lots of sitting available and a grill. There was a washer and dryer available in the room. 10/10! Our family will come back to holiday island on the island! Thanks again!

Enjoyed our Stay

We enjoyed our Stay. One thing to note is that all 3 our our GPS units took us to 6 Wedgewood Drive, NOT 6 Wedgewood Lane, luckily there was a sign posted on the Drive home that stated it was a personal residence or I would have been calling the homeowner asking where the lockbox was! The correct address was just around the corner. We learned to put in 4 Westood Lane and it took us right to the correct spot! Just food for thought! The drives into Rogers, Eureka Springs were beautiful and windy! But we were not in a hurry and enjoyed the scenery and the ride. The home itself was very spacious and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, the pillows left a bit to be desired but if that bothers you take your own special pillow and you'll be fine. Air and heat work great.. Yes we had to run both cuz the weather called for it! I do wish that the 2nd bathroom was attached to the one bedroom but it was located right outside the room so it worked. The Master was amazing and both bathrooms were very nice! Awesome water pressure! If we go into that area again, and we may, this would be a great place to stay again! For the price you won't be disappointed at all!

Microwave did not work. Carpeting was filthy, drain in bathroom sink was ploged.

Payed a cleaning fee and expected the carpet to be cleaned before. Left place clean. Plan on renting a unit again in the future and hopefully things will improve. Owned property on Holiday Island for 27 years and expect better.

Very nice Location!

Very quiet Neighborhood, If you want to get away from the noise of towns, this is the place. Nice place to stay for a week.

Very Happy

Very happy with this choice. We visited Branson, Roaring River, and Eureka Springs but also rented a boat on Table Rock Lake because we were less than a minute from the marina. Nothing was more than an hour drive away. Morning coffee with the deer was the best! Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, couldn’t ask for more in a long weekend getaway.

Loved the convenience of boating, fishing, golf! We were so comfortable in this space and so relaxed

This was so easy to rent, understand, and was everything the manager described! We would love to return!

Great experience, fun area!

We were pleased with our choice of rental properties. It was not too far from Eureka Springs and there was a lot to do nearby—hiking, exploring, and the rec center. Unfortunately, it rained an entire day of our long weekend and there isn’t a lot to do that isn’t outside but the stay itself was great.

Nice and Comfy as the last time.

A comfy little cozy place to stay while on the island. The only thing I would recommend is the smell from the pest control was a little overwhelming. We do like staying here and have multiple times with family and friends. We will be back!

Great as always

We always stay at the rentals at Holiday Island and have never been disappointed. We live 3 hrs away and sometimes stay a weekend to a week depending on our schedule. Perfect place for a weekend get away, as counting times we have stayed here...... ALOT. Always nice, clean and comfortable like a home away from home.

A few issues...

We arrived after dark and the packet pickup location was very dark. The condo has an issue with the pipes moaning when you run the water or flush the toilets. The coffee pot took an hour to make one pot. There was much extra bedding. And, the dishwasher smelled like rotten eggs when we ran it. Location is good.
