Cute lakefront cabin on Duck Lake, one of Montana's best fishing lakes for rainbow trout. Located approximately 31 miles north of Browning , 9 miles NE of St. Mary, within 13 miles from Canadian border just minutes from 2 major entrances to Glacier National Park. St. Mary offers access to going to the Sun Road, Logan Pass. Babb is the entrance to Many Glacier, the most Northern entrance to Glacier National Park. We are conveniently located next to the Waterton International Peace Park Entrance as well as the Caraway Border Station in Alberta, Canada.

Wonderful stay! So many supplies already in the home, views were unbelievable. Super clean home and cozy beds. Huge windows over overlooking the lake, large kitchen made for easy meal making. It had had everything and more! Excellent location, easy access to the park.

This was one of the best properties we have had the pleasure to visit. Val has assured that every need is met; I felt like we were staying at a family cabin it was so homey and well stocked! The place was meticulously clean and it was even better than advertised, if possible. What a fabulous, comfortable retreat to return to after a busy day at Glacier! The kitchen was extremely well supplied, the beds super comfortable and the relaxing deck nice for a glass of wine after a long day (enjoyed the bottle left by our hosts!) We would recommend a stay for 2 couples (such as ourselves) or small family - one bathroom is sufficient but obviously shared. We were very pleased with the amenities available including spices, coffees/tea, snacks, and all the bathroom essentials. It was nice to be able to borrow bear spray and we left our extra one for the next guests. We loved watching the fisherpeople on the lake as well as the ducks and pelicans. Thank you!

This Duck Lake home is exactly as described. The inside is beautiful, clean, peaceful, and super-convenient for accessing the east side of GNP. The host is amazingly nice and communicative! We loved the stay! The dirt road that is used to access the home takes patience, but it's worth it.

The home is so adorable inside, comfortable and peaceful. The views of Duck Lake made for relaxing mornings and evenings on the deck. There are so many supplies of things for the kitchen and bathroom, that if you forgot something most likely they already have it in the house. Communications with Val were easy and she responded quickly every time I asked a question. I highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a home base while visiting the east side of Glacier.

Out of dozens of vacation rentals we’ve stayed at, this one is by far one of the best. Not only is the location great for accessing the east side of Glacier (the best side), but it was also one of the cleanest and best stocked for essentials and much more. Val is a perfect example of a host that goes above and beyond. Besides notifying us that we could check in earlier than expected, she also got us a new hairdryer as quickly as possible since the one on the property was missing. Our biggest regret was not staying here our last two nights in Montana. Save your money and avoid the national park lodging for this much nicer experience. We will definitely recommend this rental to anyone traveling to the area.

This was a great location for our trip to Glacier NP - close to the east side of the park. Communication with the host was easy and clear. The road to the property is a bit rutted at this point in the season(as communicated by the host) and we wished we had opted for a higher profile vehicle. Certainly not a deal-breaker, just something to note. Property was exactly as described and worked perfectly for our family. Extremely well equipped kitchen if you plan to cook - which we did. Would both recommend and stay here again. Excellent property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All beds were very comfortable, plenty of extras in the kitchen and bathroom, very clean, and we felt safe in the area. Gorgeous views and very very conveniently located to the best hikes in glacier. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The property was perfect for our trip to Glacier National Park. Location was close to park entrances and was located in the shore of beautiful Duck Lake. House was clean and comfortable and we’ve never stayed at a property that was so well stocked. Absolutely excellent property, we would stay again in a heartbeat.

This place was amazing! The pictures in VRBO doesn't do it justice! We stayed 3 nights and loved it! Close to Many Glacier and St. mary's. A very friendly dog named Shelby came and hung out with us for awhile. I would highly recommend this place! Owner was great to communicate with.

This is our second time staying at this property and would definitely recommend it. Val is a great host and answered all questions that we had. The kitchen is very well stocked, the beds are comfortable and everything was very clean. Check-in was easy and wifi was good for communication with family back home. Overall it is a great property and will stay again.

The weather is ever changing, so be ready for anything. It can change from morning to night and it is always an exciting adventure for us. We hope you enjoy the area as much as we do!

You will love the sunsets, it is our favorite part of the day. You can take a photo every night and it will never be the same. The fishing is our favorite part of our vacation and there is never a dull moment whether you fly fish or bait fish, it is all good! This is great spot on the lake to fish from boat or from shore.
