Imagine yourself sitting on the deck, admiring breathtaking mountain views, all the while enjoying a good cup of coffee in the morning or a fantastic glass of wine in the evening! Our views of the San Juan Mountains are unbeatable from the deck space, with plenty of seating for you and your party to enjoy the scenery. Enjoy the grill and view while you cook for your friends and family. Enjoy the hot tub after a good ski or hike in the mountains! Echo lake is a short, five-minute drive for great fishing! We are so pleased to share our home away from home with you and know you will enjoy it as much as we do!
The house has large casement windows and wrap-around decks for enjoying the breathtaking views. There is a private, covered outdoor hot tub to relax in after a fun-filled day in the mountains. Features include satellite with three HDTVs and high speed internet. The full kitchen contains a microwave, a dishwasher and large refrigerator with ice maker, all cooking utensils and dishes. This is a chef's dream for a vacation home. Bedding and linens are provided. A washer and dryer is also available for your convenience.
With its large bedroom/game room, which has a bunk bed with a twin over full bed and a ping pong table, it is a perfect 'get away' spot for kids of all ages. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the other two bedrooms each have a queen size bed. The house, with approximately 3200 sq. ft., is suitable for a family reunion and with 3 acres, one of which is fenced, there is plenty of room to stretch. It is also ideal for a romantic getaway with its gourmet kitchen and dining table near the fireplace where a nice meal can be followed by a visit to the on-site hot tub. Any evening can be capped off with a leisurely viewing of the mountains and alpenglow at sunset on the large wrap-around deck.

Pagosa Springs is a mountain community in Southwest Colorado and offers 320 days of sunshine a year with beautiful scenery including mountains, lakes and waterfalls. It offers lots of outdoor recreation and much more. There is much to do to keep busy. The TREE HOUSE is located just a short distance from a pristine lake stocked with trout and bass. River rafting is available in Pagosa Springs, which is four miles from the TREE HOUSE. Trophy hunting is also available in the San Juan Mountains. A visit to the Chimney Rock National Monument will not disappoint. Wolf Creek Ski area boasts the most snow in Colorado, with an average of over 600 inches per year and it is only 20 miles from The TREE HOUSE! Gambling is not far away at the Ute Casino Resort. When you are finished soaking in the on-site hot tub, you can try the famous hot springs in Pagosa. Come play in the mountains and stay in the middle of it all in the TREE HOUSE in Pagosa Springs.

Great rental. Convenient location not far from town. Very close to Echo reservoir. We stayed with other couples and the place worked well for our needs! Would definitely stay there again. The host was very communicative prior to rental day, but not as responsive once we were there. However, we didn’t really have any dire issues that we couldn’t figure out on our own.

Unusually warm weather had the upper level very stuffy but all the windows and french doors made it very easy to get air flowing and cooled off at night. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out.

Great place, close to town and numerous hiking trails, but still very private. Plenty of room for my family. A few more fans or an air cooler would be nice for those hot summer days since there is no AC.

Great place to stay. Came for a girls trip. Close enough to town for easy access but just enough away to get some quiet. The rooms were cozy and had all the basics for a nice get away. The kitchen had all the basics for cooking. Check in and check out instructions were easy to follow. Will definitely keep this listing in mind next time we’re in Pagosa Springs.

Beautiful view off the deck. It had plenty of room for the family to spread out. The kitchen was very well furnished and a great layout to cook while talking with family.

We had an amazing time beautiful home, plenty of room for 8, great kitchen and utensils, and awesome view from the porch. Owner was extremely responsive even when we locked ourselves out of them home, thank you again Paul! Highly recommended this home, very convenient to Pagaso springs and wolf creek ski area.

We really enjoyed our stay and thought the value was there but a couple things would have made it better. 1. We didn’t realize from the listing that there would be no air conditioning. That hit us hard over the week. The host was super kind and offered more fans to try and make us more comfortable. 2. This wasn’t in the host at all, but we also lost power for a significant amount of time two days in a row without any significant weather related reason. We ended up losing some food. The host was again, super empathetic and kind regarding the situation but it wasn’t something in their control. 3. The hot tub maintainer snuck up on us and our dogs, a quick snippet in the welcome notes that he was coming would’ve been helpful. Definitely would stay again in cooler temps! We loved the gated entry, the view was significantly understated, the proximity to town was fantastic, and the hot tub was a well maintained delight!

Thank you so much for your honest review and you were an amazing guest! A family friend, who managed this house for years and recently started a new job stated that the power going out happened very rarely but we have made a call to the local power company to get some answers. As for no AC we do not advertise we have this. The house cools down significantly when you open the windows and it does get really nice and cool in the evenings. Having said that, it might have been closed up for a few days before your arrival. I will ensure our cleaning crew leaves the windows open and we will provide more fans for guest use. Thank you again for your honest feedback and we did enjoy you as our guests. You are welcome back anytime!

Kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook. Two living areas make it easy for the kids to have their own space. Back deck had a spectacular view! Fire pit was perfection as eell as hot tub. Host was extremely responsive to questions.

The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to prepare & enjoy a large meal. The bathrooms had plenty of towels. The home could sleep 13 people easily with the amount of beds & sofas. That doesn’t even include floor space. The property is gorgeous. There wasn’t a telescope but you really didn’t need it. The Mountain View was amazing. A herd of mule deer showed up on the property almost daily.

Great stay at the tree house

Our family had such a great time at the tree house. Lovely place and really relaxing. The hot tub was great to use in the evenings. Definitely recommend this place. Host is also very quick to respond to messages. Thank you for letting us use your lovely place.

Pagosa Springs is near a wonderful ski area in Wolf Creek Pass. Also, the scenery is beautiful in here (which you will see as your are coming from the Wolf Creek Ski area, back into town (see Photo # 16). The house is large enough to accommodate large groups and there is always a spot where you can escape from the crowd. The hot tub is great after a cold evening to chat and enjoy a nice glass of wine. We are very pleased with our selection and know you will enjoy your stay here!
