Bliss in Harbor Springs

A truly wonderful getaway! There’s never a bad season in Michigan, but this spot especially is magic. We came and stayed four years ago and our kids kept talking about it so we came back. Worth the drive and fun to bring my parents this time. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Paradise on Lake Michigan

This place was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful house right on the lake. Short walk to the beach. Big rooms. Kitchen had everything we needed!

Fall Getaway

Our second stay here did not disappoint. From the beautiful sunset that greeted us upon our arrival to the luxurious accommodations, everything was wonderful. We are already looking forward to another visit.

Autumn colors and wine

We love staying at this place on Lake Michigan. It’s beautiful with a wonderful view. Tom Dempsey is an outstanding host and makes his home on the lake feel like it is your own retreat from the day-to-day chaos. This was made even better by being in northern Michigan at peak fall colors and enjoying a nice glass of wine on a sunny deck by the beach. Can’t wait to do it again.

Family Fall Trip

Fall at the Beach House

Overall, the property is well-located and maintained. There were some minor issues using some amenities but nothing that dampened the overall experience of our stay. The check-in documents and other information were well-prepared and helpful for anyone staying at the house, covering a wide range of activities. The beach access, something we wanted, was ideal for our purposes.

Magical

We found it very hard to leave this Lake Michigan home paradise. The 7 of us stayed cozy and comfortable throughout our stay September 13-18. The pristine beach is RIGHT THERE. The home was perfect for our extended family. Plenty of amenities and the views were incredible! We would definitely stay here again!

Great Family Trip

This was our 3rd time staying at the Dempsey’s beautiful home for a short family vacation. The house and its setting right on Lake MI are beautiful; gorgeous sunsets, great beach walks, fun playing cards and listening to the waves just outside. You won’t be disappointed if you’re lucky enough to book a stay.

Amazing Beach House

We are a group of retired professional women who have been friends for over 40 years and gather yearly. This year was the best place we have ever rented. The Sturgeon Bay Beach is the gorgeous, water was wonderful. The house was stunning and accommodating for all. One of the best places to be in northern Michigan.

Beautiful cottage

The weather wasn’t perfect but this was the perfect cottage to relax in. The house was beautiful and immaculately clean. The master bedroom was perfect. We had a wonderful time here and look forward to staying again.

Serenity on Lake Michigan!

This is our second time staying at this lovely beach home. Views are amazing! The nearby towns of Harbor Springs, Petoskey and Charlevoix offer cutesy shops and restaurants. We will be back.

Spectacular

We have titled this spectacular since the house was truly amazing. The details in the decorating made the house so comfortable. The views were unbelievable with the color of the sand and the blue expanse of the water. We are so happy we stayed at this property and were able to enjoy the professional kitchen and large dining table while watching the lake. Thank you for sharing your home with us for a brief stay in Michigan.

Amazing home and a better host!

Tom is an incredible host. I contacted him Sunday morning when I encountered a small issue and he addressed it immediately. I’d love to come back for a week this summer, but the home is booked and I can see why. The home was clean, well equipped, beautifully decorated and welcoming. I would 100% recommend staying here, even though it impacts my chances of getting to rent it again!

Fall Getaway

What a beautiful property and fabulous setting. Its even more stellar in person. We enjoyed our time relaxing, watching the birds and ships in the distance while listening to the sounds of the water. Can't wait to come back again.

Great family get away

This was our second time staying at the Dempsey’s beautiful home. We were a family group of 6 with our adult kids and their friends and the house was perfect for us. The house is scrupulously clean,beautifully decorated, comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, playing cards at the dining room table with its gorgeous view of Lake MI, watching movies and walking on the beach, which is right out the door. The kids enjoyed going to nearby Mackinac Island. It was great to experience Lake MI in rain, sun, high winds and even snow (late Oct). We are already planning our next trip!

Peaceful and Restful

Our family was seeking a place to just relax and get away. This was the perfect place for us! We enjoyed the home so much it immediately felt comforting and relaxing! Everyone had a favorite place to be in the home to just read and be still! We enjoyed many walks on the beach and road out front. The sunsets were Amazing! We are definitely thinking of returning in the spring. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
