Classic cottage in downtown Harbor Springs. Enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious front porch with Lake Michigan views. An enjoyable 10 minute walk will bring you to Harbor's restaurants and shopping, Zorn Park beach, and all that downtown has to offer.

The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths. The primary bedroom and guest room include queen Casper mattresses; the 3rd bedroom has a trundle bed that is ideal for kids. The main level includes a spacious kitchen and dining table. The living room overlooks the front porch and includes a gas fireplace, enjoyable for all seasons.

The backyard is private, surrounded by lush landscaping and privacy hedges. Rental of the property gives you access to a Weber gas grill, seating on the deck for 8+, and a backyard firepit.

We really enjoyed our stay at this warm and cozy bungalow. The location is perfect to walk to all that Harbor Springs has to offer. While the front porch is perfect for morning coffee and evening wine, the house sits at the corner of a couple of well-traveled roads thru town so it can be noisy at times. I highly recommend it.

This was a beautiful rental for our stay in Harbor Springs. It was well stocked, clean, comfortable and conveniently located to town. We brought our two labs who loved making the short walk down to Zoll beach to catch up with new friends fetching and swimming at the beach. Afterwards they'd lounge on the front porch dreaming of their next outing at the beach or around the area. The options in town for eating are great, we especially loved the treats at Tom's Mom's and Johan's and grabbed sandwiches at Gurney's for our picnics, plus had great meals at Paper Station, the Pier and Legs Inn. One note, the traffic coming into town doesn't pay attention to the speed limit signs making it more noisy than expected but we still loved our stay.

Cozy, warm, wonderful. Everything an up north home should be. Very convenient to Zoll Beach and a walk to Harbor Springs. It was very hot the July week we were there. You might consider bringing up small fans for the kitchen dining area which gets hot if you’re cooking. But nothing a tall cold drink and a run through Zoll Beach won’t cure. Hope to stay again!

Amazing location, especially for those traveling with dogs! We took full advantage of the walkability to the beach/town and lounging on the expansive front porch. Only feedback is we expected the air conditioning to be much more centralized. It got quite hot on the main level and only the upper bedrooms stayed cool, even at night. Just something to keep in mind during high summer heat waves if someone’s sleeping in the first floor bedroom. Otherwise, our stay was perfect!

Love the house. Front lanai and backyard were very charming. Only issue is we got a little hot without AC during unseasonably hot weather. Another issue that couldn’t have been anyone’s fault but the upstairs sink doesn’t drain so we cannot use it. Otherwise we loved the house and look forward to booking same place next summer Thanks

John was an amazing host. The property was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect - near the water, town, parks and bike paths. Will definitely keep this property in our future plans.

Family trip

Wonderful stay in Harbor Springs at this perfectly located home. Easy walk to town, beach and kids also loved the playground and pickleball courts one block west. Loved coffee on the front porch with lake views!

Lovely Cottage

The cottage is clean and beautiful. The enclosed porch and backyard made it easy with our dog Dog park right at the end of the road is great. We will definitely stay again

Perfect Harbor Place

We really enjoyed this home. The house is exactly as pictured on the website. The house has a great location for all the various Harbor activities and restaurants. The house has everything you need for a great stay. I would highly recommend this property!

House was just perfect! Great view from the front porch with a shady backyard for our dog. Kitchen was well appointed and loved the decor. We had fresh cut hydrangeas every day. Loved it

Terrific home near town and beach

The home is furnished with style and class. The front porch provides a great spot for morning coffee or evening glass of wine (and 4th of July parade watching!). It is conveniently located down the street from Zoll Street Park/Beach, and an easy walk to town for shops, dining, docks, etc.

This is a beautiful quintessential northern Michigan home in a beautiful quintessential northern MI town. The home is cozy, clean and comfortable. Comfy beds, modern bathrooms & kitchen with lots of charm and the most wonderful front porch. Very convenient to downtown Harbor Springs and the waterfront. Host is very good at communicating and responding quickly. Highly recommend!

Cute cottage, walked everywhere!! We only drove the car to go to the grocery store and to visit Petoskey. Great view sitting on the front porch. Incredibly responsive and welcoming host. Would absolutely come back!

John was a terrific host and the home is walkable to downtown, the beach, marina, and more. The only negative was the traffic noise, the house is at a major intersection where traffic comes into town and from the marina area. I will say that the noise subsides after 6pm.

Quick Ski Weekend

Really nice location, 10min drive to Boyne Highlands & a really easy walk to downtown Harbor Springs. Communication with host was really easy, responded quickly. You're right on main st. as you come into harbor springs, so it can be a bit noisy with cars, didn't bother us but it could be an issue for others. House was really clean & we loved we could bring our dog with us, would stay here again.

Just the right spot in Harbor Springs

This was the right size house in the right location in Harbor Springs. The location on Main Street was a little busy with traffic but perfect for viewing the start of the 4th of July Parade and night time fireworks. Short walk into town. Bright and sunny house. We loved that it was dog friendly with mostly enclosed back yard and parks nearby. Owner was great at communicating.

The owner was very responsive and made the experience easy. The house is cozy and welcoming and has everyhing that one would need for a trip to Harbor Springs. It is an easy walk to town or away from town down the lake. It is all very charming—also very easy drive in and then out to other sites. The owner gives great recommnedations for things to do in case you need some help. If it is available, I'm unsure why we would go anywhere else. If you are a pet owner there is a dog friendly beach a short minute walk down the street. Also nice walk for non-dog owners.

Lovely home in wonderful location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was so charming! We utilized the large, wrap porch regularly for meals and hanging out. And we loved the location close to Zoll Beach and Weque. Host was very accommodating and communicative. A perfect 10. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you. We love Harbor Springs and Up North, MI.
