OFFSHORE BLUE is a beautiful sound front home located in the private Marsh Cove neighborhood of Emerald Isle. OFFSHORE BLUE offers spectacular views of Bogue Sound with its waterfront location ready for paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing. The home is situated at the end of a long driveway on a peninsula away from other homes, giving you a private oasis. Feel the ocean breezes from the expansive deck and enjoy the breathtaking views of water, marsh, and wildlife from the dock. A short 5 to 10 minute walk will lead you to the pristine beaches of the Crystal Coast, the boat ramp with nature trail, pier, and playground, and Chapel by the Sea. Bring your bikes and ride on the bike path that stretches the length of Emerald Isle. After a day at the beach by the emerald green waters, enjoy a fun competitive game on the new putting green, and then unwind with a front row seat on the NEW floating dock to view spectacular sunsets.

Our home is about 3 miles from Emerald Isle town center where you will find restaurants, shopping, a movie theater, mini golf, post office, and Bogue Inlet Pier. Swansboro, Morehead City, and Beaufort are all easy drives and are fun to explore. Hammocks Beach State Park and Fort Macon offer great activities for the whole family.

The interior features a modern take on classic coastal design. Numerous upgrades have been made to make your experience comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen is well stocked for the chef in your party. The up-to-date bathrooms feature nice finishes such as the soaking tub in the upstairs bathroom situated by a picture window. Enjoy the home sound system and listen to your favorite music indoors and outdoors. The home also has four large TVs and wifi. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom, and private balcony with outdoor seating to enjoy the sunrise. The second upstairs bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed and views of Bogue Sound. Two of the bedrooms are located on the main floor with one featuring a queen-sized bed and a Juliet balcony. The other main level bedroom has a full-sized bed.

Other amenities included: putting green with lights for night-time play, kayaks (3), bikes (2), propane gas grill, beach chairs (6), Sea Striker beach/dock cart and Little Tikes wagon.

What a wonderful home! Gorgeous views, clean, wonderfully located, and serene. We loved our stay. We ran into a problem with the AC and the host was super responsive and even offered to make us a reservation at a near by hotel while the issue was being resolved. We will absolutely be back. We can’t say enough about how wonderful this property is and how kind the hosts were!

The sound views were lovely! We enjoyed exploring in the kayaks and on the bikes provided. The walk to the closest beach access was easy, although with a family/small children, we found that renting a golf cart was preferable, and traffic can be busy while attempting to cross the road. The house was very comfortable & spacious for an extended family use of storage room with beach chairs, etc and the outdoor shower was a plus. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces to celebrate the 4th of July! The host was very receptive and communicative if questions arose.

The house and property were beautiful! Our family had the best time using the bikes around town and to the public beach access. We found out one of the green kayaks has a hole in the back while it was sinking during a quick paddle, but it made for a fun story when we got back to the dock. There are still two others that would be great fun! There is ample seating in the living room, and the downstairs having the built in stereo system was an added bonus to the week! The beds were probably the most comfortable of any rental thus far! We had a couple issues arise during the stay, which the host immediately rectified. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels private yet easily accessible, we would highly recommend this house.

Peaceful oasis

We loved staying here! We had a few rainy days at the beach, but never felt like we were missing anything because of the beautiful views of the sound and marsh. We all loved staying here.

Our stay here was excellent. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It felt even larger with all of the outdoor space. The property felt secluded since it is further back than the other houses.We took advantage of the location on the sound side of the island. We fished and kayaked every day. My teenage son even put his phone down to enjoy the nature around the property. It was an easy walk over to the beach as well.The best measure of our stay was the family asking if we could come here again as we packed up on our last day.

Fantastic Family Vacation Spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We took advantage of all the amenities provided including the paddle boats/board, beach and fishing equipment, games, putting green, the gas grill, and the well appointed kitchen. It is the perfect location for a family get-a-way. Thank you to the hosts for thinking of every detail to make a weeks stay perfect!

One of the sound's best!

Excellent location close to town. Just a few blocks to the ocean. Fantastic floating dock for kayaks and fishing on the sound. Gorgeous sunrise views from the primary bedroom. Many amenities add to your experience.

Perfect spot for a family getaway!

We loved staying at Off Shore Blue! We had the best time fishing and crabbing off the dock, kayaking and playing many round of putt putt golf. This house truly has it all. We felt so at home as they had everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms and even a storage room full of stuff that you could use from a wagon, putters, fishing rods amd 2 bikes. We definitely can’t wait to come back!

This was our second stay at this house and will come back again if available. Architecture and decor are fantastic, very crisp and clean. No clutter or gratuitous beachy stuff everywhere. The amenities are awesome. We used the bicycles, kayaks, putting green, grill and fished from the dock (caught some trout). Being on the sound is very quiet, no tracked in sand, no salt spray on everything and no people traipsing about. The view of the sound is fantastic and the bird watching is great. We love this place.
