Good

The only problem is that they don’t tell you what floor you’re on and if you got bad knees, the third floor is not the place to be other than that. It was good, but it was a long month like that definitely would have to have a first floor next time They should at least tell you what Florida is so you can know if you can do it or not.

Perfect place for a getaway

This condo was perfect for our month in Florida. It is in a perfect location close to the beaches, the Pinellas Trail, and other activities. The Avalon is a very nice gated condo community also. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely stay here again if we make it back to the Clearwater area.

Beautiful place to avoid a cold northern winter for a month.

The condo is very nice and as mentioned previously, clean and well appointed. The Avalon property is convenient to just about everything including the beaches, shopping and nice restaurants. Chelsea's condo is great for relaxing and very comfortable. We hope to be able to enjoy this unit again in the future. Frank and Sheila

Wonderful stay in Clearwater at the Avalon

This condo was an exceptional stay for our month long visit to the Clearwater area. My wife and I have actually stayed at the Avalon for the preceding two years in other units and have found this unit to be the best thus far. It has all the comforts of home and was extremely comfortable. We had excellent communication with the owner and found the unit to have everything we needed for a relaxing and fun visit.

Clearwater Condo

The condo was very clean and perfect size for 2 people. We spent a lot of time at several area beaches and walking. Enjoyed our stay in the Clearwater area.

Perfect Location

I stayed for an extended period of time and was very happy with everything. Any questions or requests I had the host, Chelsea was always very responsive. The VRBO description is accurate the place was very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and perfectly located. The condo is well stocked with anything you would need. It's close to the Pinellas Trail and 10-15 min to Clearwater Beach. I would definitely love to come back!

Beautifully appointed and exceptionally clean

The condo was not disclosed to be a third floor walk up. It was extremely difficult to access regularly because of my damaged knees and wife's hip issues. It also overlooked the trash containers which were regularly noisily emptied in the early morning.

Great owner!

Our rental experience was great. The VRBO process is flawed. After contacting them to update our credit card information so we could receive our deposit back. We have a different card now, I was told we can’t change that. It’s a different bank now so will have to try again and try to speak with someone who speaks English clearly. Will not use VRBO in the future!

Great apartment in Clearwater

Spent a week here. Great location, supermarket is nearby (within walking distance), Clearwater Beach is less than 15 min away, close to downtown Clearwater. Kitchen is fully stocked with all appliances, pots/pans, utensils, etc. We cooked many meals while there, and everything we needed was provided for in kitchen. The owner was very helpful and easy to reach. Everything was clean and well ordered. Access to the pool was a great plus, we spent quite a bit of time there with my young son. Overall, a great place to stay.

Best Downtown Clearwater Stay Ever

I just completed a 3 week stay here and this property could hardly have been better. I have made numerous trips to Clearwater over the years and have stayed at several VRBOs in both Clearwater and Dundein as well as the Marriott Residence Inn on Court Street. This unit was the best value I have found so far and I hope to return to it in the future. Furniture, appliances and amenities were as good or better than 5 Star hotels I have stayed in. The unit was immaculately clean and well stocked with the basic needs for either a short or extended stay. All appliances (including full size washer and dryer) functioned well and the air conditioning maintained a cool environment even with the temperatures in the high 80's. The kitchen included virtually every small and large appliance you would hope for plus some I hadn't even thought of. The bathroom was large with upscale tile floor, granite countertop and large clear glass shower enclosure. Plumbing fixtures were state of the art with a large "rainfall" type shower head. Also, no shortage of closet space. Several good restaurants and a Publix grocery store are within walking distance. Only issue to be aware of was this unit is a 3rd floor walk-up so if stairs are not your thing you might want to keep looking. (Personally I enjoyed the exercise!) This complex also has a large well maintained pool which you and your guests have access to.

Perfect little condo

This beautifully decorated condo was great, everything was spotless. We really enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, luxurious bathroom, the pool was always very clean and not too crowded. Property is very nice and location was terrific.

I wish I could give this a 5star rating, however with the blind in the bedroom stuck in the OPEN position and a security light outside that went on & off all night long, it was very annoying, and took some ingenuity and friends to get a cover over the window so we could have some privacy and block out the security light. Another problem was the inability to get the thermostat working correctly. I hope someone can figure it out. It would get extremely cold and then hot, we were told to hit the HOLD button and set the Temp. That never worked. The combination door lock was very cool and loved it.
