One of the last "ma & pa" places on Clearwater Beach. Beautiful, second level one bedroom apartment. Private bedroom with california king sized bed, full sized bathroom right off the bedroom. Cable TV in both bedroom and living room. Fully loaded kitchen and living room with a great view of the inter coastal waters of Clearwater Beach. A nice sundeck is right outside your door which also over looks the water. Very comfortable, quiet, and beautiful setting.

This place could use some cosmetic upgrades and some structural upgrades. The decks are falling apart, some of the building is deteriorating in some spots, the entrance door was so warped you could see light through it. Wasn’t able to shower there, because shower head only provided a mist of water. (Needs a new shower head). Don’t get me wrong this property is great for the price and location just needs some maintenance done to it. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable, the place was pretty clean, the host is very friendly and the location is excellent!

Quick getaway

The property was in the direct line of the last hurricane so there is damage as expected. However Marta was Milan’s helpful and allowed us to check in early. This is an older but nice, clean, safe and close to beach bungalow. I wish Marta and Mike the best in their attempts to rebuild their property and lives

Safety issues need attention

First impression was not great as the walkway to get to the staircase is very narrow and shrubs are overgrown. The staircase seems unsafe, doesn’t even look like it’s up to building code standards. Our room was upstairs and the walkway was covered in layers of outdoor carpet, apparently to cover up a rotted balcony because at one point, my foot went into a hole while I was carrying my luggage to the room. The deck is falling apart and has several loose boards making it very unsafe for guests to walk on. The outside rail of the upstairs deck is falling over and actually has caution tape on it. I took pictures but don’t see a place to upload the images.There is a stack of 2x4’s beside the front sidewalk with nails sticking out of them. The window into a/c in the living room doesn’t work well so the living room was warm our entire stay. I realize that making improvements would make the cost go up but honestly, $400+ that we paid for our 2 nights there was way too much! It seemed that we were the only upstairs guests, maybe downstairs give a better rating because they don’t walk around to the back side. Very disappointing!

Extremely disappointed!

My sister and I had to sleep with a chair in front on the front door because the door wouldn’t close. Toilet wouldn’t flush properly and when I called host they never called me back. The deck was hazardous , had holes and yellow tape around it. 😢

Dated but Very Clean!!

Dated but very clean. The property, however is run down and some spaces unsafe as a result. The property owner was very responded and communicated well.

Adequate but dated

If you have problems walking in the heat, this is not the place for you. Window air conditioning and the place is dated. Decorations are nice. Climbing the steps might prove difficult for some but we were aware of that. This place is plenty spacious for 2-3 people. It was adequate for A 2 night stay. Use the trolley, parking is difficult.

great time at Clearwater beach

spend a lot of time at the beach and walking the island; some excursion to the "main land". Great environment all over... fishing trips, dinner cruise... and excellent dining (mainly seafood) in the entire area. Accommodations were as advertised; we spent most of the time outside though; just enjoyed the coolness inside; some TV; it was too hot to sit outside on the deck though.. pitty. We actually extended our stay.

Perfect place to stay

This was the perfect place to stay! The hosts were responsive and accommodating. The view was awesome, it had everything you needed, and you could easily walk everywhere. Thank you Mike and Marta!

Needs an outside clean up.rusty old bikes dead potted plants, rotting siding, holes in outside cement walls, overgrown sidewalks Broken doors rodent could easily enter.

Great location. Worked out perfectly for our stay.

It’s an “old Florida” property. We didn’t stay there for amenities and knew we would be coming and going all times of the day. It worked out fine for us. Could it use a little updating? Yes. But I also think the price was right too. The owners were a pleasure to deal with.

Simple 1950's era motel.

Has a deck on the intercostal shared with other( about 10) units but next to never saw anyone. Location felt safe. About 1.5 block walk to the beach with easy access. Maintenance on exterior being done-no noise. Unit has full size refrigerator, a small microwave, coffee pot (Mr. Coffee type) and a electric stove (we did not use). Many restaurants walkable nearby. Unit served our purpose of a reasonable few days at the beach. If you are used to fancy condos or high end hotels this unit is not for you but it provided what we needed. The owners were great and made accomadations for us arriving at 1:00am and gave their cell number to contact them with problems even at 1:00am.

Beautiful harbor view

This was a nice, clean little apartment that was perfect for my husband and I to get away. It had a back deck with a beautiful view of the harbor and was only a few minutes walk to the beach.

Get what you pay for. Saying in a positive way

Super close to the ocean and restaurants. For the price don’t expect anything glamorous. Mike was great. Definitely could use some updating but then so would the price. It was clean and functional.
