Our Cabin on the Cove is nestled up high on a hill overlooking beautiful Lake Catherine. It is set on a spacious lot in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful sunset view. The Cabin on the Cove is a quick 8 miles from Central Avenue and 9 miles from the convention center or Summit Arena. The cabin's short distance from restaurants, Oaklawn racetrack, Silks Casino and shopping makes it an ideal location for your trip to Hot Springs. The cabin includes a boat dock and has a private boat ramp that is for neighborhood use only. So bring your boat, floats and fishing poles for your stay at The Cabin on the Cove!

Hospitality Plus

Our stay was amazing. This cabin is charming and inviting. We hit some snags (power outage then my husband getting a stomach bug) and the host was so sweet and understanding. We will definitely be back and recommend this cabin to any friends visiting the area.

Host was extremely kind!

We had an issue with our stay (unrelated to the home or the host), and the host graciously helped us figure it out. We are truly greatful for her kindness and would certainly consider and recommend one of her two beautiful properties (just book through a non-vrbo option).

Cozy gathering space

The property suited us perfectly. My wife and I were traveling with 3 small kids so the two beds, 1 bath was more than adequate. We really thought the upstairs bedroom was ideal. There’s one full or queen ned with two twins on either side that was perfect for our kids. Booking, arrival and departure couldn’t be easier. Newer TV allowed us to ApplePlay some shows for the kids while we prepared dinner. Overall the house was very clean with only a few minor updates needed. The value was great! Of minor note, I wish the fire pit area was better structured. The fire pit itself was a shallow ring of rocks so I was afraid a spark or errant flame might catch the surrounding leaves on fire. I also had to clean all the fallen leaves and wet, burnt remains out of the pit. There was wood supplied which was great but it was also wet so hard to start a fire. Also the back could only be accessed by going around the house as there was no access to the outdoor space from inside. These are minor however, and our stay was perfect!

My family and I loved everything about this place. It was an amazing stay all the way around. Everything we could’ve needed was there aside from food. Could not have asked for a better cabin!!

Good stay

Cabin is located in a fairly quiet neighborhood and has a number of other houses very close by. Just typical neighborhood noise so not a big deal. I think everyone was just glad that fall in AR had finally arrived, and they were getting things done outside and enjoying the weather, as we also did while enjoying the deck! Cabin was pretty clean and has everything needed. We never left and cooked all meals there. The bed is comfortable with good quality linens, but it is not a queen size - it is a double/full size (measured it), so it's small for two people. There's plenty of closet space in the bedroom as well. The TV is internet based, so it takes getting used to if you're not already. I'm farily tech savvy, so I figured it out. The internet kept going out on day 1 (not owner's fault - that's just internet for you), but fortunately was working on day 2, so we were able to watch a lot of football all day on a very nice quality screen in the living room. We really appreciated the large bathroom with quality fixtures and lighting, along with super fluffy towels. Only suggestions would be to place a queen sized bed in the main bedroom and add either a dish drying rack or mat in the kitchen for use after washing dishes.

Cozy cabin getaway

Really cute and comfy cabin. Nice decor. Small but quaint and perfect for 2 but could have easily brought along our kids. We took many walks around the little neighborhood that was very quiet and peaceful. We will have to come back when the weather is warm.

Property in quiet neighborhood, not isolated as expected. Kitchen very well stocked with staples, condiments, bowls, pots and pans. Fifteen minute access to Hot Springs. Recommend Lake Degray for nice beach swimming, and Charlton Recreation Area for cold creek swimming. Gangster Museum was an interesting background story of Hot Springs! Relaxing vacation.

The property is well kept and as described. It was raining while we were there so didn't get to do much outside, but coffee on the deck in the mornings was nice.

Exceeded expectations!

This cabin is even better in person, rooms are big, living room and kitchen area is much bigger than the photos show, huge outside deck both upstairs and ground level. Megan provides everything you'll need plus more! She even put a Christmas tree up for us! I will definitely always pick this cabin for my future stays in Arkansas! We all loved it!!! 10starts if I could :)

5 star service!

This little cottage came with everything! Coffee, filters, condiments, lots of extra blankets, big fluffy towels, pack and play, snacks, bottled water, popcorn, spices, shower essentials, charcoal, etc! You need it, they have it! These owners definitely know how to make guests feel welcome. We didn’t need much at all. It’s in a super quiet and beautiful area. The house had so many neat amenities. The beds were so comfy! The furniture was beautiful. The pictures do it no justice. We will definitely be back!

Excellent cabin and host

We stayed for only two days and didn’t really get to take advantage of the peaceful back porch. The cabin was very clean and decorated nicely. The host was quick with replying to any questions I had. I highly recommend this cabin!
