This home was perfect for exploring Door County. Well stocked and very clean. Loved the great room for winding down at night and watching movies. Very quiet area.

Nicest rental property I’ve experienced. Home was impeccably clean and had so many amenities. Pool table was a lot of fun. Peaceful mornings and evenings awaited us here while exploring Door County. Wish we could have stayed a few more days!

This home was so perfect for our trip! We really did not want to leave when it was time! HIGHLY recommend this for your visit to this beautiful place. We loved the quiet, the views of the countryside, and having a beautiful space sit and visit with friends and relax after our long bike ride! Very clean, cozy with lots of space and things to do. Thanks Darelynn for providing a place to rest!

The space was clean and exactly as seen in photos online. Instructions during stay and for check out were very clear. The house was stocked with everything one could think of needing for a long relaxing weekend with friends with most meals cooked at home.

Beautiful house fully equipped with everything you need. Very clean and organized. Lots of room for everyone! We had seven family members and never got in each other's way. Hostess was good with responding to messages. Easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend this house to any family looking for a great place to stay.

Perfect place!

Clay Banks Retreat is a quiet property away from the fray of northern Door County, yet close enough to enjoy shopping and fish boil, pontoon boating, walking the beach, and hiking. It was the perfect place for our group of four couples to reconnect and spend quality time together.

Convenient location to Door Pennisula

Location was convenient. Plenty of space for 4 couples. We liked the openness and everything we needed in the kitchen.

Wow! What a beautiful home!

We’ve stayed in five different homes in the area and this is by far the best! Immaculately kept, great location and welcoming host. Couldn’t have been better!

Great setup for our family vacation!

Everything was exactly as defined. Beautiful, clean house, and great country location. We had deer in the yard almost daily. Relaxing location, yet close enough to town an activities. Definitely would rent again!

This home is absolutely beautiful! It is spacious, comfortable, and homey. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking, and the ammenities made our stay perfect. We played yard games, watched movies and even got in a couple of games of billiards. We had 7 women, and had plenty of personal space. Darelynn's communication was timely and informative. We made our reservations for next summer even before stay ended. That tells you how much we LOVED this house!

Outstanding country getaway

This property is perfect for a large group and in a great location in Door County, close enough to Sturgeon Bay but feels secluded when you are there. The house itself is nicely furnished with a great kitchen for all cooking needs. Our group would definitely stay again.

This was just perfect for our family trip to Door County! The house was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed everything… from the well stocked kitchen, to the outdoor space. We enjoyed pudgy pies around the fire pit, while we laughed and made memories. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We would definitely love to come back!

Great Home Away from Home

House was great. It had all the amenities we needed: extra supplies like toilet paper and paper towels, spacious backyard for kids to run around, the kitchen had everything we needed for meals. All around great place.

Fabulous Family Vacation

The house was very clean, so well stocked and sitting on an absolutely beautiful piece of God’s Country. The location was great for visiting the bustling door county peninsula during the day and then returning to peace and quiet at night. Great beach just down the road with a wonderful sunrise each morning!

We were 5 ‘old folks’ enjoying a family reunion from 3 states and everyone of us absolutely loved Clay Banks Retreat. There was so much room to spread out in the living room and dining room - loved the long dining table - and the kitchen was so well equipped. The house was immaculate and everyone was so very comfortable. We had hoped to have some S’mores outdoors at the fire pit, but the weather wasn’t too cooperative…Still we loved being so close to the water and watching the deer grazing in a nearby field. Clay Banks Retreat is lovely and we definitely will be recommending it to friends. Thank you for sharing your lovely home and making our reunion so very pleasant.
