Schaefer Shoreline Adventure, Boat Slip

Schaefer Adventures is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home on a level lot conveniently located at the 34.5mm, off 5-53, near Pirate's Point and Captain Ron's. This newer home is perfect for big families and reunions, sleeping 8, with a large kitchen, an island, and open-concept living and dining. Major interior remodel this Spring 2026 with large walk-in shower, new flooring in the main living area, plus a new dining room table and chairs (March 2026). Plenty of room for everyone to sit and view the lake through a wall of windows or lounge on the large deck and view the sunset every evening. Bring your boat with you! We have a two-well dock with a boat lift.

You are welcome to use the garage to park your car, or use the air compressor to blow up rafts. In the garage is also a few dart boards for those rainy days and a stereo that turns on the outdoor speakers to the new patio area. You are welcome to use both boat slips at no extra charge! The 6,000lb vhaul lift is available in one slip and the second slip has no lift. There are 2 kayaks, a canoe, and a large floating mat along with rafts and fishing rods. Make yourself at home and start your adventures at the Schaefer Shoreline!

Dog Friendly! You must get your dog(s) pre-approved. We allow up to two dogs, 75lbs or less. Keep your dog off the furniture and they should never be left alone, always supervised, unless crated. There is a $50 per dog fee, per stay. Once approved, we will send you a request to pay the pet fee. Please pick up after your pet.

We are just a phone call away! Please correspond with us anytime during your stay so we can offer you the best vacation experience.

Next Cove over is Captain Ron’s bar, Beach, and restaurant. You can use the access ramp for a fee or rent a boat or sea doos at Pirate Point which is the Cove on the other side of the house. All of this is within .5 mile of the house!

We are glad you were able to make it this year! Missed you last year when you had to cancel your reservation in 2025. JK Powell Properties is a small property management company here at the Lake and we pride ourselves in building personal relationships with Guests when they come back year after year. I know you said you never give 5-star reviews, per your first stay when we asked you what we could do to earn a 5-star, but we sure hope you noticed the new upgrades made over the past two years: new flooring, walk in shower bathroom remodel, bigger TV in living room, new dining room table, new towels, new sheets, new comforters, added a Blackstone griddle grill along side the BBQ propane grill, resurfaced the decking on the house and dock, added a storage shed on the front lawn—with all kinds of lake toys, boat towables, an air compressor, life jackets, super soakers, pool noodles, a new lily mat,all for guest use included—, rebuilt the dock locker with new wood and always offer the dock #6000 boat lift at no additional charge for your boat. I’m glad you and your family were able to bring your four legged family member to the lake this year. I mailed back the dog harness left behind. Hope to see you again next year!! Maybe we can convince you the 5-star rating is not a 5-star hotel rating but how much we love our return guests and always trying to make their family vacation a great vacation! This was our 4th time staying here and we will be back again! We love the upgrades they have made in the new flooring and new shower in main bathroom. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, great location, great dock with kayaks and lily pad available for use.

Literally turnkey place- bring your food and drinks and they have the rest. Easy access to the dock and water. The garage is a bonus place to hang out. The only negative is out of their hands and that’s is the road to get to the house - gravel and washed out in spots. Super clean and nice size as we had 6 stay comfortably.

So happy to hear you loved Schaefer Adventures for your family vacation! Yes, the Schaefers have included everything you would need at their house because they stay there too. This is not just a house to rent at the lake, but a home we share. Plenty of room for everyone! Glad you enjoyed the Bluetooth speaker and TV in the garage, two extra refrigerators, a workbench, air compressor, and you can park two cars inside as well. The short walk to the dock is nice, and it is through a flat yard, which is a plus here at the lake. So glad your family enjoyed the many amenities at Schaefer Adventures. This June, we had record amounts of rainfall, which is not normal: 4" one day, and the next week, 6", which was hard on our 300-foot road of 7 houses. We do road repairs and grading twice a year, so come back to Schaefer Adventures at any time of the year, as we rent year-round.

We enjoyed our stay. We used the Lilly pad, kayaks, and the dock quite a lot. We also rented two waverunners from Pirate’s Point nearby. The house was fully stocked with everything and fit our needs well, especially being able to bring our sweet dog with us.

Happy to hear you enjoyed the lakefront and all the fun amenities provided at the Schaefer Adventures Lakehouse this summer. The Schaefers have anticipated what families need on vacation because they have family come stay with them too. Feel free to send us your packing list ahead of time so we can save you space in your car. With pre-approval, Schaefer Adventures is pet friendly with a $50/per pet fee. This fee helps cover the extra insurance with having pets and we also provide food/water bowls, and a special treat for your four legged family member. The shoreline is a gradual exit for pets if they like to swim. Come back and see us anytime of the year!

Thanks for your review of Schaefer Shoreline Adventures for your October stay. I know the weather was rainy, the lake level was down during your stay, and the crappie were not biting as you hoped. Those three items we can not control but wish we could. We are so thankful to our neighbor for allowing you to keep your second fishing boat in their slip under cover of rain for your stay. It seems the access ramp under Hurricane Deck was convenient to the house’s location as well and we were happy to meet you and your party at the house and assist where needed. Weekend at the ozarks!

We had a great time! The place was clean and nice to accommodate our fur babies and kids. Close to restaurants and shopping and the cove was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend!

Great family vacation rental

Great place

This place was awesome. We have never seen a place so well stocked with things. This place was very clean , and had comfy beds. It was just as if you were home. Manager was very nice , and helpful.

The weather was spring like for several days, and I am glad you were able to go fishing off the dock. The owner really and truly have thought of everything. We loved this property. Had everything we needed, which made the trip so stress free. Spent most of the weekend on the dock, fishing, kayaking, floating, swimming. Everything was comfortable and clean and we will be back!

Thank you for your review and glad you were able to bring your own boat to watch the Shootout. Schaefer Adventures is located at the Shootout finish line in a no wake cove. There is a 6000# lift for a Vhaul 30ft boat as well as a slip for a pontoon or second boat.

Family fun!

We had a great time! The house was clean and nice. The kids loved all the lakeside amenities- we used the canoe, kayaks, and the lily pad. We went fishing as well and caught fish right from the dock! Wonderful vacation!

So happy hear the young kids had fun! We keep fishing poles in the dock closet and glad you were able to catch some fish during your stay. The dock is our favorite place to hang out and we never have to worry about boats when swimming because we are in a small cove off the main channel. We hope you and your family return in the future. Perfect location

The managers went above & beyond to put all the little extras in place. The location was close to everything as we traveled & explored the area. Plenty of space for our three teenagers & 2 dogs. We enjoyed the fire ring, grills, dock, kayaks & canoe. A little get away from home with all the extras!

Get away

This was very clean and very well stocked with all one might need. Fun gift bags provided for guests and even a gift bag for my spoiled grand dog. We were lucky to have perfect weather and even got to use the kayaks. Really relaxing.
