Amazing cabin! Kids enjoyed the pool table and Mrs Pac-Man game. Lots of space to relax, play card games, read, and hike. A wonderful stay and we'll definitely be back!

We 5 adults over 70 years old enjoyed our stay, my only caveat would be a caution that there are many stairs, a bit challenging for a couple of people in our party. House was very clean, communication with owner was very good, beds were comfortable and there was a big screen TV, which I had somehow missed in the description, so we were able to watch the soccer 2 days. The neighborhood was pretty quiet, many surrounding cabins were empty during the work week, lots of flowers blooming this week and several bird species, some with young being weaned, always fun to observe.

Amazing stay. Beautiful and relaxing cabin for our family. Pool table and Ms Pacman in the basement were a huge hit.

Very spacious clean accommodations. Quiet area. I brought food supplies for 4 days. However, there is no food storage or pantry for the food storage so I left all non-perishable food items on the table. Two things that needs to be added: at least 2 boxes of tissues & a colander. How can one make spaghetti without a colander! I knew that the Lodge was closed due to passing by a few months ago, but I don’t think the ad mentioned that. Had the Lodge been opened, it would have saved making a couple of meals.I would recommend adding to the rental that there are lots of stairs. Someone who is 77 & 79 probably shouldn’t rent cabins with lots of stairs! However, the photos showed a thousand words.My favorite room was the library. The selection of books was phenomenal!All in all, this was a relaxing experience.This was a great getaway so close to home & the temperature was rewarding after having many days around the 100 degree mark.

Perfect Tahoe-area Cabin

This cabin was tucked into the hillside, surrounded by trees. It was a delightful getaway and very close to Sierra At Tahoe

Perfect family cabin!

We have been staying at this cabin for many years and will continue to do so for many more. It's perfectly set up for a quiet and relaxing getaway in the mountains!

Great location for Sierra weekend

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. Plenty of space for our family and a really cozy night in front of the fireplace. The pool table and pacman games were big hits. After our short drive to Sierra for skiing, the kids loved breaking ice in the stream and walking through the woods. Loved this location.

What a gem!!!

This place has everything. Easy walk to the river, gorgeous views, secluded and private, kids toys, tons of DVDs, and hiking/biking trails literally out the back door. The game room downstairs was an added bonus and kept our family entertained for hours. The owner was very communicative and they have put a lot of love into the property. I am already making plans to go back!!!

Great Retreat!!!

We had a great stay at the cabin. It was a cozy, unplugged weekend of family time, with lots of fires, books, movies, and games. Our kids stayed entertained by the basement diversions and cabinets of toys and games. We loved the library! And the beds were incredibly comfy. This was a fantastic place and we look forward to returning!

Fun with Hiking

Myself and friends used this house as basecamp for day hikes into Desolation Wilderness and couldn't have been more pleased. The weather was cold but the house was warm and clean when we checked in and the fireplace fully stocked. I'm sure we'll be returning.
