Living room features include real wood stove with wood supplied. 65' smart flat screen TV with high speed internet Roku device or smart TV with cable in each bedroom and LR. Flexibility of sleeping arrangements for six persons. Bedroom 1 has a new king, and a single bed, Bedroom 2 has one queen bed and sleep number king bed. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and office desk. TV's in sleeping areas and living room with high speed cable. Beautiful setting with off street parking. On the Upper Truckee River. Back yard has extra large fenced area for a dogs and kids. BBQ and Hot tub is on back deck overlooking Forest. Seasonal tables, chairs by the chalet, river and on meadow. Hiking, walking, biking, trails from the property. Casinos featuring 24 hour entertainment, shows and gambling. Heavenly has new adventure park for summer featuring a zip line, climbing, gondola ride all sorts of outdoor fun for all ages. Tahoe Paradise park great for kids is $5 per day for parking or walk in. Endless bike trails throughout the area. 15 minutes to Tahoe beaches. Beautiful waterfalls from house only short hike away. Located in a peaceful quiet area of town. Recreation central. 21 minutes to Heavenly 34 minutes to Kirkwood and 21 minutes to Sierra. Sledding for littles out back, bigger hills at Meyer’s and mountains at Echo Sierra and Heavenly. Tubing at nearby ski resorts.

We had an excellent stay here. The house is VERY well stocked and in a beautiful location. Our host was great with communication and the check in process was smooth. The creek and the hot tub are great additions and the surrounding area is lovely.

We had a fantastic time for a summer getaway here! The property is big, spacious and has great quiet neighborhood. Best part is its proximity to the truckee river. If I had to choose one thing to notify future guests is to bring body wash as property didn’t have it. Not a big deal but a PSA.

We didn’t spend much time at the house but when we did come back in the evening everything was great. Area was very quiet and not much traffic which was nice. Would stay here again.

We had the best family vacation over the 4th of July weekend! The house was larger than the photos made it appear and was the perfect space for our group of 6 people and dogs. The host was very communicative leading up to our stay and was quick to respond during our stay when a few minor things arose. Some of the furnishing and decor was a bit dated but it added to the cozy, cabin feel. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and we really enjoyed the enclosed backyard. Thank you for opening your home to us, we can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time here. The house was very cozy. It had everything we needed and fit our family perfectly. We loved the hot tub and the short walk over to the river. We even got to see a little snow fall. Debbie was a wonderful host. We would definitely stay here again.

We had such a wonderful time at this house. It was so peaceful and quiet! Felt like the two Goldens were safe in the yard! There were so many places nearby to take them to play in the water! The Wolf Range was amazing to cook on. Now my husband wants one! Will definitely be back!

This quiet riverfront chalet was a perfect nature retreat with a peaceful creek right in the backyard. The house was spotless, excellently arranged, and provided ample space. Our dog loved exploring the creek. Host was incredibly responsive throughout our stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer—highly recommend this beautiful spot.

A huge shout out to Debbie for letting us stay at her home!! The property was perfect, just what we needed!! It was spacious enough for my family of 6. We had everything we needed right there. We loved the front deck, which we sat every evening while enjoying my grandkids (ages 5 &7) playing on the grass and just taking in the view. There was a stream at the back of the house which the boys were in heaven with the dog. The lake and shopping area weren't too far from us which was perfect! The boys are already telling me we have to go back because they loved it so much!!! So, until the next stay I take my hat off to this beautiful property!! We will be back...See you soon!!

A well stocked home. Incredibly comfortable. Great front and back yards for dogs. We definitely enjoyed it during the big Tahoe snowstorm and I think it would be a great place to come back to in the summer as well. Many thanks to our responsive host!

Perfect size for us! The kitchen was wonderful & the hot tub was clean and very enjoyable. Loved walking to the creek in the back and the hike to the waterfall from the cabin was a great little adventure!

We had to reschedule our trip due to adverse weather conditions. The host was super helpful in rescheduling us. The house was perfect for our family of 6. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids loved all the open space in the back. We were able to sled and build snowman without leaving the house. Great stay!

The view from one of the bedrooms is exquisite. Snow covered redwoods! Debbie was extremely communicative. The hot tub was soothing on our muscle-fatigued ski legs! The kitchen is well appointed with kitchen supplies and everything you need to make meals. A very nice stay!

Lovely stay!

My partner and I stayed here with our dog. We loved the hot tub, fenced yard for our dog, and creek area. The house was very comfortable and well-equipped for cooking and all our other needs.

Spring waterfall trails. Mountain and road biking Mecca too. Very dog friendly property with fenced areas for your four legged friend to get out and enjoy. Perhaps they would like a swim in the RIVER. Kick back and enjoy the mountain views.
