Dreamsicle - New Island Home - 2 story- 75 steps to the beach

Newly remodeled 2 story 4/2, both levels had expansive decks with open views of the Ocean. 2 Master suites (queen beds), one upstairs, one downstairs with sliding doors that open to the decks. Third Bedroom upstairs has bunk beds (one twin bed, one double), fourth bedroom has queen bed. Upstairs also has a sitting room or playroom for the kids, also with Ocean view.
The Atlantic Ocean and beach (75 feet away). Great place to sun bath or just listen to the ocean sounds. Not a great swimming beach for kids.

Fully Equipped kitchen with new appliance and 5 foot island bar. French doors from the kitchen open out to the deck. Large screen TV in living room. Home is furnished with designers touches throughout.

Post Dorian: local businesses are open are ready to serve you including: Veron’s Grocery Store, Harbour View Grocery Store, LVA Grocery Store, Abaco Inn, HopeTown Inn and Marina, Firefly, On Da Beach Bar & Grill, Mackey’s, Willie’s, Lighthouse Marina, Hopetown Canvas, Ebb Tide, Island Marine Boat Rental, Getaway Cart Rental and Tiffany’s Treats . The house is adorable with great ocean views!

The home is well done and extremely comfortable! Really great with four bedrooms! If you like the south end the property is perfect! It is close to beautiful Tahini Beach and the Abaco Inn. The beach is close as well and we enjoyed afternoon walks!

Great Property - Great location! Layout of the home is perfect. Pictures don't do it justice. Absolutely perfect for larger families or a group trip. Walking distance to Sea Spray. Short golf cart ride to anywhere else!

Great time on Elbow Cay

Dreamsicle is an excellent property. Well maintained, nice floor plan, nice kitchen. Most importantly it has a generator that kept our A/C running when the island's power grid shut down!

The Perfect Week

We spent a full week at Dreamsicle at the end of the Summer Season. The home is everything described and more. The property manager was available for any little issue. I highly recommend Dreamsicle. One of the nicest homes I have stayed in on Elbow Cay.

Perfect vacation

We recently returned from our firs but not our last trip to Elbow Cay and Dreamsicle. The property is exactly as described. Well maintained and stocked and located within a 2 minute walk to a quiet beach and close to Tahiti Beach. A very comfortable for couples or a small family. Correspondence with the owners was very good and the advice given was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended.

Great vacation spot!

Upon finally landing on Elbow Cay immediately after a storm, we arrived at a clean and cool home. We were pleased that our home unlike our other friends who's homes did not have operable generators or air conditioning for two days. The home appears to be recently renovated and done quite well. Just as important, the on site property manager did a phenomenal job of answering our questions, helping make arrangements and following up to ensure we were happy with our home. I would 100% stay at Dreamsicle again.

Coming Home

This was our second stay at Dreamsicle and it was as perfect as the first time. Everything went smoothly from the correspondence with Cindi to being met at the dock by James. The house is clean, well kept and has everything you need. It is well situated toward the south end of the cay (a golf cart rental is a good idea). The photos attached show exactly how the property looks. The only thing missing is the sound of the trees and ocean.

Dreamsicle

Place was very nice. The biggest down side is the ac unit. Bedrooms were very warm as there was a note saying not to go below 75 degrees. Very warm when temperatures are in the mid 90s with a high humidity. No ceiling fans in most bedrooms.

Great views, cozy home, very spacious and clean

Dreamcicle was the perfect home for our trip. We loved the house it was comfortable and clean. The finishes and furnishings were coastal and updated. There is plenty of space and seating areas both inside and on the balconies. The HVAC was nice and cold. We loved coming home each night and taking our “75 steps” to overlook the beach and stars. Also it was awesome waking up in the morning and enjoying a cup of coffee on one of the balconies listening to the waves and feeling the sea breeze. The property is located near the Abaco Inn which was one of our favorite spots for drinks and food. Our house manager was helpful and friendly, checked us in seamlessly and checked on us during our stay as well. We will definitely come back to Dreamcicle again. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stayed 7 nights and overall found it to be a very nice property. The home is clean, well-maintained, nicely decorated, and stocked with the kitchen equipment needed for preparing meals. The air conditioning worked very well, and the location is excellent, with beach access and close proximity to Sea Spray Marina, where we kept our boat.The listing accurately states there are only two bathrooms, which can be challenging for larger groups, but we knew that before booking.Our main issue was the laundry situation. The listing states guests staying more than 7 days have access to the washer and dryer. Since we were traveling in the Bahamas for 17 days total and staying at the house for 7 nights, we politely asked if we could pay for access. We never received a response.This became frustrating because only a limited number of towels were provided, and the nearest laundromat is over 2 miles away. Getting tokens required finding the manager, and we ended up wasting more than half a day of our vacation dealing with laundry. While there, another customer removed our clothes from a machine to use our remaining time. The laundromat owner intervened and indicated this happens occasionally.Another surprise was that only enough toilet paper is provided “to get you started.” While not a major expense, it meant another trip to a store over 2 miles away for a basic necessity.Overall, it’s a very nice home. If you don’t anticipate needing laundry facilities or additional supplies.

Amazing property

Our first time on Elbow not staying directly on the water and we did not miss it at all. The property was exactly as advertised and delivered on every point. The house was very clean and comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. Can’t wait to return next year.

Great House and we’ll equipped

The house is fantastic and very comfortable. Has a generator, which was wonderful on the rare moments that power went out. This is a great house. Observation deck provides great star watching. Well worth booking!!

We are Florida residence that love this island. We used to stay closer to town until we stayed on the south end, then we bought a home there we loved it so. We have 2 children (22, 24) and feel it is very safe for them to cruise around.
