Thanksgiving get away

This is our second time there. Only negative thing is, could use some sprucing up like painting the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom and a few other small things. And get a better TV, satellite system. It took us a while to get it turned on, we had to reboot it. Other than that, we love the place!

Beautiful House!

The location, history and design of the house, and the provided kitchen appliances were perfect. The website listing said it's 1 mile from the water but it's only .2 miles - really close! Communication with the Rental Agency was very difficult. We called with questions multiple times both before and during the trip and no one ever answered the phone. If someone did get back to us it was days later. An insect control company showed up to spray for bugs inside the house and we had no notice from anyone. The check in process what not clear. I was told that only the individual who signed the lease could pick up the keys but that ended up not being the case. Also, it was not communicated where I was supposed to leave the keys at check out.

A very cozy home :-)

We loved everything about the house! I liked reading about the history of how the house came be be. The owener did a beautiful job, on the details and decor!! The only thing, that could use an update was the stereo, and coffee maker. When we stayed the TV did not work, but I'm sure it was fixed as soon as we left. We would love to return, to this home. Thank You, Cathey
