Level Lakefront Lot, 2-Story Dock, Water Slide, Great Location

Tired of trudging up and down steps!? Then come and enjoy this well-maintained home that sits on a year-round, deep water level lot. There are twenty steps from the basement to the level back yard that leads to the lake and double deck dock.

The two-slip double deck dock is accessed via a concrete ramp. The upper level is a 600+ sq ft sun deck with lounge chairs, dining table with umbrella, and water slide. There are also two kayaks and a paddle board for your use. A double-jet ski port was also recently added and available for docking your personal watercrafts.

The main level of the house has two master bedrooms with private baths, a vaulted great room with open loft, and a kitchen/dining area. Enjoy the views from the vaulted great room with a wood burning fireplace. Kids can get away and play games in the open loft overlooking great room. Attached to the kitchen are the screened porch (16x16) and grilling deck. This home is over 3000 sq ft in size.

Downstairs consists of a large great room with HDTV, surround sound and various TV streaming options. Three additional bedrooms, a gaming area, washer/dryer and the third bathroom round out the basement. There are also video games (Nintendo NES Classic Edition and SNES Classic Edition), foosball table, Blu-Ray/DVD player, and a second refrigerator.


Our community includes a concrete paved boat launch just a half mile from our house. It is a 10 minute drive to the main road and a total of 15 minutes to the Food Lion Market.

Bring your iPhone or other music player to play on the whole-house audio system. The master bedroom, great room, kitchen, and screen porch are wired for stereo with separate volume controls. Additionally, high-speed Wi-Fi internet is now available!

Enjoy the firepit and seating area in the backyard!

The closest marinas are Springs Dock or Flat Hollow Marina. They are about ten minutes away by boat. Please note that we DO NOT list on any Craigslist site. Any such listing is fraudulent.

We had a great time staying here with our family. Everything was clean and well maintained. The two-story dock was definitely a win and the kids loved the slide and jumping off the dock into the lake. The views from the dock were beautiful, and it was a great place to enjoy the lake. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home!! Our family loved the house and especially the 2 story dock with the slide. The house was immaculate. Kitchen had everything we needed.Host made sure that we had all the information that was important for our stay. We would love to stay there again!!

Very nice home. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable tv viewing area lower level, great outdoor spaces with screened in porch, fire pit with Adirondack chairs, and large table, chairs and loungers on dock. Great location on the water and close to Powell Valley Marina. Parking for 3 vehicles at the house. Would stay again. Would be nice to have curtains that cover the window in second bedroom on main level.

Fabulous family week

Perfect location and grandkids loved the dock, and adults, kayaks, slide, paddle board and much needed shade from the covered dock. Very relaxing. Very responsive owner. Very nice house, room to spread out and rooms that were never used. Highly recommend.

Family Fun

So much fun on the dock, with slide, kayaks, paddle board, and fishing. The s'mores at the fire pit were a real hit with the kids and adults alike. This was our 4th time at this house and Norris never disappoints!

Wonderful place!

I hesitate to give this place a glowing review because it will always be booked and unavailable on a return trip! The house is a fantastic location on the water with plenty of places for your group to hang out if you’re tired of boating or if the weather isn’t cooperating. Communication with host was easy and prompt. Would definitely come back!

Great property

This was our second time renting this house. Great house, flat-ish lot to play yard games, hang around fire pit. The dock is one of the main reasons we chose this house again. The younger kids could (and did!) go down the slide and jump off the dock all day. Will rent again!

Quiet fun on the lake

We had a fantastic week relaxing and enjoying the lake. Close to a no-wake zone which made swimming fun and safe. The house is clean and modern with all the amenities we needed like a well appointed kitchen, washer/dryer, a screened in porch, and firepit. The kids loved the kayaks, paddleboard, and slide. The property owner is very responsive! We never stay in the same rental twice but we'd consider it for this home.

Norris Lake II

The house was lovely, although we spent the majority of the time on the awesome dock! Thanks for the kyacks, etc. screened porch was great in the AM. The windows looking down on the lake were perfect! The children must have jumped off the dock or slide down the slide over a hundred times. We all had a wonderful week!

Exceptional rental

The home is beautiful, clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals for the week. The lower level for the children had space to play, movies and video games. The main floor provided enough space for everyone to gather for meals, games and conversation. The added screened in porch was the perfect start to the day.

Family vacation

"This was the best vacation ever" stated our 7 year old grandson. We go on a family vacation every year with our four children and their families. We enjoyed the lake, the dock and the house very much. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make meals for the 12 of us. The lake was crystal clear and we were in the water constantly. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The screened porch was a hit for evening entertainment. Thanks for the family memories. Nancy

Wonderful vacation and house

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It is exactly as advertised. We loved the easy walk to the dock. The huge dock with 2 covered slips was great. The cove was quiet and peaceful. The screened in porch and the balcony off the master were both nice places to relax. We also liked the speakers throughout the house. It was super easy to connect our music. There is a pretty stained glass window in the master bathroom. The road to the house was very narrow and a little tricky for towing a boat but we did not meet any other cars, so it was fine. The owner was super responsive. We have been visiting Norris for almost 20 years and this was our favorite house😀

Wonderful Family Getaway!

Our whole family really enjoyed staying here. The location is a dream. Most of the time, our little part of the lake was a no-wake zone, until someone came and took the buoy away! The dock with kayaks, paddleboard, and the slide was so much fun for all of us. And when we weren't playing at the dock, we were hanging out in the lovely screened-in porch. I swear I would spend all of my time on that porch if I lived there! The property is well-maintained, with the exception of the cracked concrete pad on the way to the dock. We understand the water in the lake was low this year, but were nervous about the crevice in the walkway. It didn't spoil the trip, but we were concerned for the safety of our unsteady family members. The home itself is beautiful - the windowed living room is really a centerpiece. The living space and bedrooms were perfect for our needs, and the kitchen was very well-stocked in terms of good cooking utensils, knives, etc. 5/5 trip, for sure!
