4 Bedroom Chalet with Hot Tub

Our remodeled South Lake Tahoe Chalet is a wonderful retreat for friends and family year around. We are ideally located for all that South Lake Tahoe has to offer. We are just 4.5 miles from the casinos and 3 miles from Heavenly Ski resort.

Views of Tahoe peaks, The Heavenly Ski Resort, and spectacular wildlife can be seen from the open kitchen, living room and the spacious loft. Our large fenced in backyard opens to a 27 hole Frisbee/Disc Golf Course. Adjacent to the Disc Course and a 2 minute walk from our rear gate, is the Bijou Community Park that includes a children's playground, skate park, basketball and volleyball courts. As of 2016 Bijou Community Park is the new home to Bijou Bike Park. This bike park is a City run facility with two pump tracks, a loop trail, a BMX track, and 3 Slopestyle Lines (small, medium and large). Come and enjoy!

Great Location, Peace and Quiet

Very nice home, was super clean when we arrived. Has everything you need to enjoy the Tahoe area but feel at home when you’re done exploring. Close to the slopes, close to the lake and food. Hot tub was key to surviving a few days of snowboarding.

Spacious, comfortable home in great location

I booked this house for my family and my sister’s family and was super happy with how clean, spacious and comfortable the house was. It had everything we needed and its location was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Spacious, cozy home, with EVERYTHING

So impressed by how well stocked everything in the house—there were books, dvds, a kitchen that was better stocked than my own kitchen, tools, etc. Really made my group of 9 feel at home. Thanks Nicole!

Great family vacation!

We were 3 generations and the home was very comfortable and accommodating for us. The location is great, backing-up to a park area with walking paths, bike park, and playground. It is also a certain quick trip to grocery stores and fun Tahoe attractions.

Cozy cabin perfect for a Ski Trip to Heavenly

This cabin was perfect for our group’s ski trip to heavenly. With plenty of beds, everyone was comfy and although there isn’t a dining room table to gather around, the living room and kitchen area are cozy for gathering and the hot tub is perfect after a long day of skiing. Quick and easy communication with the host, would definitely consider coming back!

It was a nice place. Had a wonderful time staying here. Just had problems with the heat and was not sure if there was AC or not. Would've been great if there was but it was not a big deal. We still had a good time.

Vaca in Tahoe

Love the big back yard and Jacuzzi. The rooms were spacious. The wifi had poor service and there were 2 days where the weather was hot (90+) which i recall description said AC but we could never find the controller or feel if its on or not. I would recommend putting screen door in the bedroom with sliding glass door and upstairs bedroom door b/c we couldnt keep those doors open at night to cool down those rooms w/out bugs flying in. Overall trip was great and house provided lots of stuff. Thanks Again.

Just "meh..."

Honestly, I wasn't very happy with our stay and next time I return to the area, I won't consider this property again. While it's listed as being newly renovated, there are ares of the home that are just dingy and dark stains on the carpet. Also, there isn't a traditional eating area other than a few stools at the bar so if you have family, you're stuck eating outside. There isn't any cooling in the home other than a couple of fans so during the late summer, it was pretty much a sauna. Overall, its definitely not worth the cost.

Tahoe was great, house has lots of potential

We love Tahoe and overall had a great time, but would like to share a few items that would really improve the experience. Nicole was a great communicator during our request to book and in preparation for our trip. I tried to email a couple questions during our stay (main floor toilet was running constantly and hot tub wouldn't heat up) with no response - In her defense, I should have just called her. She did respond via email after we had checked out. (We were able to fix the toilet, and finally figured out the hot tub... Instructions are not very clear) The house is in a great neighborhood, very close to Bijou park which was great for our girls and husbands - hours of BMX biking and disc golf! Also just a few minutes drive to the beach, casinos, shopping, etc. A few things that could have made our experience more positive: 1) The water pressure in the main floor shower is almost painful - might consider a different style showerhead? we also tried to fill that tub and turn on the jets for our young girls since they were not allowed in the hot tub, but it sprayed out black particulates... Made for a rough night as the girls were terrified, AND we had to clean the tub. 2) While cooking, the oven door handle detached on one side, making for a very interesting cooking adventure. Once the meal was complete and oven cooled down we were able to replace the screw and reattach the handle, but this might need further repair. 3) Some others mentioned that there is no dining table in the house... We had great weather so the large folding table and chairs that are stored in the garage worked fine out on the deck, but it seems like there is room for at least a smaller table within the living space. 4) the living room furniture did not allow for even the four adults in our group to sit comfortably together, let alone if you had 12 guests. 5) The backyard was a great spot for Cornhole and enjoying time together in the evenings, but this would also be a great spot for updated furnishings. There were a few chairs on the lower deck, but they didn't feel sturdy enough to use. 6) Overall, a good deep cleaning to the full house is very much needed. The floors were very dirty, along with many of the doors and base trim having stains, etc. While we were grateful to have a little break from the chaos of the Bay area, we did have higher expectations for this property.
