Los Arcos magnificos!

This is truly a beautiful place in a beautiful location. The house has plenty of space for everyone, the pool is nice and there is almost no one around so the beach is all yours! It is an adventure we will surely remember.

Wonderful

You should come here, really! Our family of 9 people ranging in ages from 6-46 loved being here. It is very safe and everyone is really nice on top of the absolutely beautiful location and home. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful property, absolute gem

I had a short but lovely stay at Arcos. Large kitchen, everything was clean and Jose Maria the property manager was friendly and attentive. The hotel down the road has a nice restaurant if you prefer not to cook at home, maybe a 2 minute drive! The view is stunning and the area is perfectly quiet and peaceful.

Great experience

Very large house, excellent snorkeling within walking distance (slightly past the hotel). Road is rough, particularly in a sedan as we had.

Great stay!

Perfect location. House was spacious. Pool was perfect. Beach was great. Spent Easter here and Jose Maria had a piñata delivered. Also had Griselda cook and it was delicious! Would definitely go back.

Family time

We had a family of 12 and this place was perfect! We enjoyed our time, relaxed, rented UTV’s, fished, paddle board, kayaked, snorkeled and had the best time on the patio! Jose Maria was the best host and always accommodating. We will for sure be back

Beautiful spot!

This house was great for 8 of us. A huge deck and nice pool to hang out outside. The beach was beautiful . We enjoyed the firepit one night. Everyone had their own space with the bedrooms. JoseMaria was prompt in helping us and very nice. Spacious house it had everything we needed. I would stay here again!

Relaxing

Exactly what I was looking for in a quiet, sleepy, waterfront view. Owner and property manager were very easy to work with, flawless experience. Lots of sea life right at the beach. Would be nice to have a utv with the property as the road is a little bumpy for my daily local taco needs. 10/10 would stay again

Loved it!

This is a lovely home situated right on the beach. The house is well equipped with everything needed to complete one's stay. Some might find the remoteness of the location and the road in a little off putting but if you want solitude in a beautiful setting this place has it all. Thanks to George the manager and Fernando the "do everything guy" for making the stay more enjoyable.

Amazing house

We just spent a week with a party of 13 staying at this awesome property. It was an amazing location and experience and I strongly recommend it to others. As other reviewers have noted, it's very "off the beaten path," which in my view is a good thing because it's very quiet and the exact opposite of the crazy beaches in Cabo San Lucas on Spring Break. You definitely should ask Jose Maria's wife to cook dinner for you at least once, perhaps more than once, because it was absolutely delicious.

Great Place and Location

We had a great time! Jose, met us at the house when we got there and was very helpful the whole time. If we need anything he arranged it for us. We had plenty to do. Paddle boarded, fished, walked the beach, played games, explored, went on the ATV's. eat at the restaurants close by, went into town, and some dinners brought to the house! (Very good food and cheep). We also cooked some meals, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a great time with family.

Access from San Jose Airport

The place was incredible! The road access was a little primitive. We made it fine but it would have been valuable to know that there was a more improved road available (That didn’t show up as an option on Google Maps). We would have gladly taken the longer more paved road to the property but saying that it was a tremendous location and property and we will definitely put it on our places to go back to.

Loved this VRBO!

We loved this }VRBO! When we contacted Spencer he always replied within a half day, or less. There is a fun restaurant at hotel within ~5 minutes away, and many restaurants within 45 minutes in Los Barriles. We had fun going out on Paddle Boards and Kayaks. We also really enjoyed the Dune Buggy (holds 1-4 people) and ATVs (had 2 ATVs, and they hold 1- 2 people), we had them each for 24 hours each so we all got to use them and had a blast! Perfect Holiday for Christmas!!!

Old Folks Family Getaway

WOW! Spacious and visually stunning. Seven family members all over 65 visited the first week of December. Never needed heat or air conditioning, just some sedatives to relax from the drive from Los Barriles. Had one of the best meals of my life cooked by Jose’s wife. A place to hang some clothes in the master bedroom and some grab bars in the bathroom would be appreciated.

Isolated Paradise

Absolutely loved staying at los Arcos. We were 12 friends meeting up in Baja and this was a great place to do it. We ordered many meals from Jose Maria and they were all very good and so nice to have them just delivered to the house. Ocean views were amazing. It was pretty windy while we were there but we didn’t know that is typical of the area in advance. Definitely rent ATVs if you go! Overall the on-site staff was really amazing as was Jose Maria and the house were all great. The house is so big and spread out that it never got overwhelming with a large group. I would recommend this house for any group of folks!

Family New Years reunion

Property is very well maintained. Had a bit of trouble with the plumbing in the casita but Armondo, Chino and Jose Maria were great and very attentive to our needs. Loved being able to call on them for food and a bit of grocery runs. We were so greatful to have them all there to help when needed. We had 10 in our group the house pool and beach were wonderful! A great time to decompress catch up on family and just enjoying time together. The Atvs were so much fun. We did travel into Los Barrilles for picklebAll. A must do! Over all everyone enjoyed the trip and had so much fun.

Amazing tranquility off the beaten path

Casa Los Arcos is a gem of a spot. The huge home and humble casita have plenty of room for three families (we had 11 total). The separation of space was great, and all the rooms were comfortable and well furnished. The backup generator was great when others on the beach lost electricity one evening. The wrap-around patio is a great feature. It offers plenty of room to be outside without being in the direct sun, perfect for reading and meals. The pool was excellent, and the beach provided quick access to great snorkeling.One cautionary point for those considering this spot is that the road to Punta Pescadero is rough. A Jeep or similar, heavier-duty SUV is more comfortable (though not required) than a simple crossover. This is a great place to hunker down for lazy days in the water. We needed to drive more than we planned, and would have preferred not to have to drive that road as much.

Best vacation ever!

We were a group of nine and never felt crowded in this gorgeous house. The view could not have been better. Besides the beautiful water, we saw whales and dolphin right in front of the house. We loved being right on the beach. The children spent hours in the pool while at least one adult basked in the sun on the patio. We found plenty of fish while snorkeling in a spot within walking distance. The fisherman in our group found lots of good fishing spots short drives from the house. We ate two meals prepared by the manager's wife which were delicious and also meals in a town just 15 minutes north. None of us wanted to leave and we started discussing a return trip for maybe next year. There is still the goal of catching a rooster fish.

Wonderful property on the best section of the East Cape

We spent 10 days enjoying this beach front compound with our friends. This is the third time we have rented it, we just keep coming back. The ocean is warm, the water is clear and it was calm most of the time. We snorkeled, kayaked, fished and paddle boarded. The new owner has been making some great improvements. The variety of marine life at Punta Pescadero is unmatched anywhere else that I have snorkeled. We got amazing underwater shots with our camera. We went deep sea fishing and caught Tuna, Bonita and Snapper. We stock up on groceries in San Jose then head out. Los Barriles is an easy drive to replenish whatever you need. Make sure to visit Sol de Mayo just outside of Santiago. The swimming hole at the waterfall is great. Thanks Spencer.
