Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was about as expected for the price, but we were disappointed that the carpets were so dirty.

The condo was lovely - just as advertised. It had everything we needed for the beach and our vacation. The host was responsive and easy to get in touch with although we didn’t really need anything. The check in instructions were accurate and easy to follow.

This property was in a good location near the tennis court in the pool. Pool is beautiful along with a very nice hot tub. But the condo itself was well stocked with quality dishes, pots and pans, etc.

Great Location

The condo is in a great location, of Waikoloa Resort. Very close to the pool. It was very well equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable condo with plenty of room for our family of four.

Will stay again.

Large and well stocked unit! Clean and quiet location. You can see Mauna Loa from the lanai. Everything is in great condition. Tip: check what is already in the cupboards and drawers before hitting Costco/Stores you might save some money :)

Celebrating my birthday

The Big Island is so diverse - from cattle ranches to artists colonies to Hilo and the amazing Lemay museum. The property is wonderful space - very homey compared to a resort- many serving dishes and kitchen utensils. Barbecues are spotless. Swimming pool and hot tub a glorious end to a day or just lounge there all day!

Great location and affordable stay

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was 10/10, the community was quiet and beautiful, and the property had everything we needed for a great stay. The property itself is the not the newest or the cleanest, so if you’re looking for a super nice, pristine, updated place, this may not be for you. If you’re looking for a very functional place with all the amenities for a good stay, this will do the job great! We really appreciated the amenities throughout (well stocked kitchen, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, beach gear, etc.), the multiple private lanais to enjoy outside, the ice maker, the nice dishwasher, and the bed was very comfortable for us. Some suggested improvements to step up this property: a proper deep cleaning (some dusty parts, coasters on the coffee table were filthy, stained carpet, etc.), more comfortable couches in the living room, fixing the faucet in the kitchen (leaky if not turned off just right and could never get it cold). I appreciate that this is someone’s vacation home and not solely for visiting vacation travelers, so being the nicest rental around may not be top priority! As for property management, they were very welcoming and responsive! We needed some lightbulbs as one of the main bulbs in the primary bedroom was burnt out, and management brought some over in a timely manner. We also wanted to extend our stay a couple of days, and management was very quick to make that happen.

Every detail, from the sparkling pools to the lush gardens, makes you feel like you’ve found paradise. The sunsets alone are worth the trip! But what truly made this vacation unforgettable was the amazing hiking nearby.If you're a nature enthusiast or hiker, Waikoloa is a dream base for exploring some of Hawaii’s best trails. We took a short drive to the stunning Pololū Valley Lookout and hiked down to a secluded black sand beach—the views were jaw-dropping! Another day, we headed out to the Mauna Lani trails, which offer lava-rock paths with ocean vistas and ancient petroglyphs along the way. We even took a sunrise hike up Mauna Kea for some of the most incredible views of the Big Island.Returning to the resort each day was a treat, where we’d unwind with delicious meals at one of their restaurants and soak in the oceanfront views. There’s something for everyone here, whether you want to explore or relax by the pool.I’d highly recommend Waikoloa Beach Resort to anyone looking for a Hawaiian vacation that balances adventure with luxurious relaxation. Our Happy Place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our 16-day stay at Colony Villas 1804 was absolutely wonderful. This is a beautifully decorated, comfortable, and extremely well-equipped unit. It is a home, and we felt so welcome the moment we walked in. It has everything! Appealing and thoughtful decor, comfy bedding, plush linens, great kitchen equipment (good knives! And everything else you could want!), strong wifi, private outdoor space with nicely furnished lanais, quality beach equipment, new large appliances, and plenty of essentials (soaps, paper goods, etc.) provided for our full stay. The entire unit was sparkling clean. The manager, Mike, is extremely responsive and helpful. The area is lovely and very quiet; the two pools in the complex (one nearby, but not too close) are so enjoyable. We have already booked for next year and we can't wait to get back to this fantastic villa. Mahalo to the owners for putting so much into their place for visitors to love. We give this property an unqualified positive recommendation.

A fantastic stay near all the best Big Island beaches!

We had a fantastic stay! The property is spotless and has everything and anything you may need! The property manager was extremely flexible. We had a fantastic stay - great value for the money we paid! Quiet community with a very short drive to all the most amazing spots in the island! We will be back here!

So peaceful and quiet with just the sounds of nature mostly. Plan to do some driving to get to shopping and site seeing, but some of the beaches and the grocery store are not far, and there are a number of great restaurants nearby. Day trips are a must if you want to experience some of the best things. Our week-long stay was not nearly enough so we’re planning our trip next year already with a longer stay! You can’t go wrong here! It was the best vacation!

Wobderful, very clean condo stocked with everything you need. Beautiful grounds and peaceful.

This property is an easy drive from the airport. Gate entrance is straight forward and quick. The grounds are lovely and exceptionally maintained. Our condo is inviting, nicely decorated and stocked with everything you need for a stay. Plenty of extra towels and bedding as well as a wide assortment of kitchen items. The owner left a notebook binder with information for guests which is very helpful. There are also magazines, activity brochures and a guide book to help guests find suggestions for everything they could want to do on the island. The condo is the cleanest property we’ve stayed in and truly felt like home. It’s cute, roomy, decorated nicely and feels very “beachy!” The three bathrooms make this property great for families, too! We loved sitting on the lanai upstairs for coffee every morning. So peaceful and quiet with just the sounds of nature mostly. Plan to do a lot of driving to get to shopping and site seeing, but some of the beaches and the grocery store are not far and there are a number of great restaurants nearby. This is our second time at this property which says it all. Pool and tennis court steps away. The check in was easy and the property was clean and had all necessities.

The house was beautiful, well stocked, and took care of all of our needs. Everything was all provided for and we had a great time. The house was close to everything and we were very satisfied from the time of booking to when we checked out. Mike checked in on us to make sure we were settled in and were very accommodating.
