We loved this spot. The kitchen has the stuff you need to cook, and the bed was very comfortable. *note that if you are tall, the bed is a little short, and you will feel giant in the home, but it’s still great!

Beautiful home and location.Unfortunately we could not use either patio due to the excessive amount of spider webs with spiders covering the front patio furniture and porch area. I had already had to a broom inside the home to clean all inner windows in the bedroom, bathroom edges, basically any corner or edge in the home. Then vacuum with an upright vacuum because there was no vacuum with a hose available.Otherwise, the home was amazing and clean, it also had great walking trails behind it and an amazing local restaurant nearby call the tin lantern.Would totally go back minus the spiders in every corner of the house hahahaha

The kitchen, the bedroom, the bathroom and the laundry were excellent! But the house was not cleaned before we arrived and the house had ants.

Cozy, private and thoughtful.

Beautiful location and a quaint house. A small binder of important and helpful information and local attractions was provided, as well as some unexpected amenities that were very appreciated.

The Best ‘Nest’

From arriving to leaving we enjoyed every second we were at the Squirrels Nest. The exterior and interior were amazing!!!! All amenities were in tip top shape. The place was spotless!!!! The atmosphere felt so serene and peaceful. The bed was amazing!Highly recommend!!!!!!

Nice Stay In Beautiful Spot

The Squirrel's Nest is comfy, homey, and very well equipped. You feel like you are secluded in the woods yet only 5 minutes from all the conveniences that you need.

Great get away!

The property was clean, comfortable and easy to get to. I would definitely stay there again. The property owners did a fabulous job providing us with information about the cottage and surrounding areas.Great signage throughout the rental.

Quiet neighborhood in great location

A very cozy and comfortable cabin surrounded by plenty of woods to make it private. Very close to Auburn, convenient to I-80 and SH49. We hiked the trail, gazed at the stars, and woke up to deer in the yard. An absolutely wonderful stay.
