We stayed at this property twice over the last 5 years. Beautiful up north experience. The pontoon is an added bonus...adds comfy seating while at the pier and lets you explore the Tiger Cat Flowage. I would recommend this host and would stay here again. Lots of room...we had 10 people here for a week and had no issues. The drive up to the property is also great...trees and ferns glow in the sun rays.

Great property and home. The lake is quiet and the house itself has all you need for a weekend up north. The host was super responsive with pre check in and made sure to accommodate an earlier check in when we asked.

A wonderful location for a getaway with our adult children. Plenty of space for everyone to gather, also areas for quiet reflection. The lake is peaceful and lovely.

The cabin is beautiful and comfortable. We loved the remote and quiet location. Wewent later in the season so did not get the use of the pontoon or kayak/SUP.

Perfect Northwoods cabin

We love coming to this peaceful cabin on beautiful water, and Derek is a great host. Look forward to returning!

Nice place

This is a nice place. Only complaints i have is it could have been a bit cleaner and the cell service was bad. Otherwise it was a great stay!

A great spot for our family (9 in all) to enjoy some time away. Good swimming, kayaking, and fishing.

Relaxing Cabin Retreat

Cabin is on an awesome lake away from the crowds but close enough to Hayward should you want/need to run into town. Owner was great to work with and being able to have use of the Pontoon was an added bonus! Would definitely stay here again.

The place worked out great had a guys snowmobile weekend the trail was right down the road for easy access plenty of room in the house

Lake Life

This was a great place for our family vacation! It was quiet and away from everything. We cruised on the pontoon, fished, swam and listened to the loons by campfire.

Beautiful and Peaceful Up North retreat

Great house, responsive owner, beautiful flowage to explore. Wildlife galore. The drive in was amazing with forest and ferns. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing vacation.

Great Place

We stayed over new years. The snow was plentiful, our family really enjoyed our stay. The house and property were a blast with snow shoeing and sledding. Also caught a few northern on the tiger cat flowage ice fishing.

Majestic Northwoods

Enjoyable stay- The flowage was quiet, fishing was not too bad for July and we must have seen over 50 deer driving to Hayward four times during the week Recommend Tamarack Farms BBQ We would also recommend that a railing be added to the walk down to the lake in the middle section

Very good stay!!!

Had a great family vacation at Loon Bay. Great house for a family of 8. Pontoon was very nice to use. Started on first try every time. Beds were comfortable. Wi-Fi is hit and miss.

The owner of this property is incredible. The property is incredible. Faults? They are in need of additional kitchen utensils. Also there are 54 steps from the cabin to the dock. The last ten are tricky.

Family fun

Really nice place and the pontoon boat was a huge plus. Unfortunately the fish weren’t biting but, of course, no fault of the VRBO. I felt the overall cabin was pretty clean but the lower level windows could’ve used some dusting and the kitchen closet the garbage was in could use a good cleaning and painting. Overall a great place and would return.

Peaceful Quiet in the Woods

My son and I came up for a peaceful Wisconsin experience and that is what we found here. We hope to return to try out the lake and water sports when the weather is warmer.

This cabin was a great fit for our family vacation. The location and inclusion of the pontoon were wonderful! The house layout is great. Our only complaint is that the house could use a good cleaning. The showers were not very clean, lots of cobwebs and dead bugs (we definitely know bugs are unavoidable by the lake), the floors were not clean especially in corners, etc. We still had a wonderful time and the host was extremely responsive as well!

Quiet, snowy get-away

Our family had a great time staying at the TigerCat cabin. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, fun games, and TVs. All the kitchen and bedding items were furnished and in good shape. Our family of six had a great time playing in the snow and enjoying nature. When we were tired of playing outside we had lots of room inside to hang out and spend time together. We would definitely stay at the house again. Thank you!

Cheq 40 Mountain Bike Race Weekend

This cabin was great for our group of friends. Plenty of seating and spaces in the home to be together or spread out. We really enjoyed nighttime campfires. Derek the owner was efficient with responding to any questions we had before arriving. 100% appreciated the outside hose & water hook-up. Perfect for washing bikes after the race.
