NEW YEARS EVE

We stayed at the light house for three nights in celebration of the new year, 2025. It was a work vacation involving winter covering of our sailboats as well as celebrating the new year. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together and will come here again.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the light house. We had the most wonderful stay! The rental was comfortable, clean and walking distance to the nearest beach. Thank you for a great stay!

Fabulous home away from home

We were in town for a wedding and this was the prefect location for us. The Lighthouse was open, spacious, CLEAN and had everything we needed. Including towels, sheets cleaning supplies etc. If I ever return to Rock Hall I will try to book this VRBO. We loved it!

Friends Gathering

Very comfortable & spacious property. The view of the marsh & sunsets from the top floor living area was wonderful & watching the deer crossing the road was fun to see! Easy to shops & restaurants!

A great place to just be! Gorgeous....

We had a combination work/vacation, and the Lighthouse was perfect for both. We highly recommend this unusually designed, spacious, comfortable, and beautifully located house. I saw eagles, herons, and other amazing birds; the sunrise and sunset was lovely (a rainbow at sunrise -- magical!) and the three of us had a great time with lots of room to hang out and have some time apart. Don't hesitate! I will stay here again.

Super cool space to relax and call home base

We brought our 3 kids to stay in rock hall for a family birthday party nearby. We wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the house and the area! In addition to being a really interesting house, it was comfortable and fully loaded with amenities. The linens and towels were abundant and clean; and the kitchen had everything you could want in a home away from Home. The hosts left detailed information and were very communicative when we had questions. Definitely will seek out this property next time we are in the area.

Spacious, comfortable, clean and inviting

We especially enjoyed the kitchen/great room space with high ceilings and great views. Three very comfortable bedrooms, 2 with en suite baths gave everyone space to relax. There are good restaurant options close by. Biking and kayaking too! Would highly recommend!

Even Better Than Expected

Our family used the Lighthouse as our "home base" during the Rock Hall triathlon weekend and it exceeded all of our expectations! It has a perfect location, and the house was perfect for our short stay. It was my wife's first race and this beautiful house just added to a very special weekend.

Great character for a Sea Holiday!

What better way to enjoy a stay by the sea than by staying in a lighthouse?! Very on theme, the place was clean, well laid out, great kitchen (we did most of our cooking there). From the balcony in the early evening you can see deer and watch the ospreys in their nest just down the street. If we come back to Rock Hall this will be our place of choice!

A Perfect 50th Birthday Celebration

The Lighthouse was perfect for my daughter's 50th on Easter weekend. Comfortable beds with privacy for two generations. The weather was perfect, the eagles were fishing at the Nature Preserve and the osprey were busy building nests in the Marsh. Great location for walking in Rock Hall, full of amenities for a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

Lovely house relaxing time

We got together with our children for a 3 day quiet time together for one celebration of big birthdays and anniversaries this year. The house is lovely and relaxing and pretty to sit it. I love that there were TVs in the bedrooms. Loved the almost 180 degree windows around the open floor plan. We went to the small private beach and cracked crabs one evening - all in all very pleasant.

Great Stay

This conveniently located home is better than advertised. The generous owners left us a very well-equipped house that was more like borrowing a friend’s beachouse than renting from a stranger. A warning: Don’t attempt a late (after 8 pm) dinner, even on the weekend. Easily walkable to restaurants, coffee shops and marinas. If we return we’ll adjust our dining habits!

Beautiful Natural area

The 3 story home shaped like a lighthouse is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and situated on s lovely property on a quiet road. The owners left a well organized notebook that included tips for activities, restaurants, and guides for the home ( thermometers, etc). Sheets, towels, even wine and condiments were provided. Both couples agreed we would like to return. Thanks to the owners for all you did to make this serene weekend possible.

Perfect vacation!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in the Lighthouse! What a unique space and beautiful location. The view from the wrap around deck and all the windows was spectacular. We loved hearing and watching the osprey and red-winged blackbirds. We had a daily visit from a great blue heron, and loved the evening song of the peepers. The house had everything we needed to spend wonderful time with our kids and baby grandson. The Lighthouse was perfect for providing both togetherness spaces and ample privacy. We look forward to many more visits to this wonderful home in delightful Rock Hall!

The house is amazing - even better than the photographs!

We had a great time! The house is incredible. Clean and comfortable. All the beds are super comfortable. The kitchen is well furnished. (If you like good coffee, you may want to bring a coffee maker. All they have is Kuerig.) The house is adorable inside and out, but there is no waterview. But the bay is just a few blocks away. Two thumbs up. We will be back.

Beautiful well-maintained home

We enjoyed staying at the lighthouse! Although it rained most of the time, it was a cozy place to play games, watch football, and reconnect with family. The home is spotless and the kitchen is very well stocked (although we didn’t cook). Maybe we missed it, but we had a hard time figuring out the TV- instructions would have been great. I really appreciated the elevator as the living space is on the top floor. We had dinner at the Blue Heron down the street which had great food and a good atmosphere for groups with young children, and the pizza from Rock City was great. It was a wonderful weekend and we hope to visit again!

Wonderful birthday weekend

As former Rock Hall Locals whom are familiar with the town and have many friends still living there it was an amazing getaway. We enjoyed 2 days of fishing on Daddys Girl (not listed in guest book) & on Elligail Charters. The house was clean, well stocked with essentials and we brought more than we needed to. Of course all of our local friends had to see the inside of the house and everyone was impressed with what the owners did with it. We will definitely book it again if its available. We did have to place a 911 call for a diabetic seizure and the 1st responders even wanted a tour. Maybe in the listing, they could say sheets , towels and coffee pot provided so future renters dont have to drag that those items with them like we did. Thanks to the Plashas for creating this landmark in an already amazing town. All of our friends curiosity has been satisfied now by seeing the house!!!
