I have been renting properties for the last 10 years in North Carolina. This property was the best! It is conveniently located, with a wonderful floor plan, a well equipped kitchen and a fantastic view from the deck and the screened in porch.I highly recommend this home!

Everything was so clean! BEAUTIFUL view of lake! Family had fun fishing down hill from cabin. So cozy!!! Cabin had plenty of everything we needed!! Can’t say enough about our stay, it so close to Tryon international horse Park, where my daughter was competing. Thank you! Hawkins family

Great lake view, well equipped and clean house and overall exceeded expectations. We were disappointed with the availability of outdoor activities. Either we did not know where to look or there were not many nearby hiking opportunities. However, as hot as it was we probably would not have gone on really long walks.

We have done a number of vacation rentals and this was the best for us. Amy was a great host and we loved the cabin. Perfect for 2-4 people. It was more like your friend let you use their cabin then a rental. Everything was top notch, and in perfect condition. Cabin has a great screen room overlooking the lake with a dock down below which is perfect to fish from or tie up your small boat or kayak. Lake is very quiet and perfect for a calm get away. House is about 10 minutes up some steep roads but that added to the charm. Every day we saw 6-10 deer driving on the roads. House is about a half hour from Tryon, Saluda, Columbus, Rutherfordton, Spindale and Lake Lure/Chimney Rock, giving you ample wineries (mountain brook our favorite) and restaurants to choose from. We hiked the horse/walking trails directly from the property, Chimney Rock, Dupont State Forest, Little Bradley falls and the Trails behind the middle school. About 45 minutes from Asheville but that is not our thing. We stayed for two weeks and already booked another 2 weeks for next year.

We enjoyed our stay so much! We only stayed 2 nights, and were really sad to leave. I had never heard of Mill Spring before, but fell in love with the cabin when I saw the pictures on Vrbo. And believe me I wasn't disappointed. The cabin was beautifully decorated and so clean. It is so cozy and welcoming. The area is so nice, and close to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. There is a cute little covered bridge & and creek close by for fishing. 100% recommend this place. You'll love it!

Great stay at the mountain cabin

The cabin was fantastic for a long weekend stay. We really appreciated all of the cooking supplies, coffee and decorations. Very cozy cabin and a wonderful view.
