We've owned the Hall House for 30 years and since then, she has been a primary residence, a vacation rental and a long term rental several times. Now she's back on VRBO and better than ever. This 2 bedroom and 1 bath cottage is cozy and inviting, just like your grandmother's house. There is a large, private deck on the back for quiet time or dinner and the covered front porch is perfect for 'porching' with passersby. We are just 30 miles from Asheville, the famous Biltmore House and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hendersonville is 12 miles away and home to North Carolina's State Theatre, the Flat Rock Playhouse, the Carl Sandburg Home and much more. About 20 minutes away is the Tryon International Equestrian Center where you can enjoy competition equestrian events, eat and shop! We are minutes to the Green River, one of North Carolina's beautiful Wildlife Rivers and the site of the International Green River Games where you can tube, canoe, or fish. We are surrounded by some of the state's best hiking opportunities, so come stomp the mountains!
Saluda can be and is enjoyed 12 months a year. Summers are mild and a great time to bring the kids and discover how much fun you can have in the mountains. Fall combines brisk days and beautiful colors when the trees provide a wonderful opportunity for picture-taking and hiking. Lots of guests enjoy bringing their families and friends to Saluda for the holidays. Spring is the time when Saluda comes back to life with lots of bulbs and flowers. We have some great gardens and they can viewed by merely strolling through our residential district. Come explore, relax, heal, experience and enjoy all that is Saluda!
