Lazy Days beach cottage is a comfortable 2-bedroom, 2-bath home that is just 120 steps from the Gulf of Mexico. The home is well-stocked and ideally located between the public beach and Stump Pass State Park on the beach side of Gulf Blvd. Stumpy’s “free golf cart ride” stops at the home for island transportation.
"Tarpon Capital of the World". This area is the state's second largest marine estuary, species making it one of the best places to fish in Florida.
Discover the wonders of Stump Pass Park, where you can explore 265 acres of sandy trails, boating, and pristine beaches. Encounter diverse wildlife including herons, pelicans, and dolphins. Don't miss the sea turtle nests coming alive with hatchlings from May 1 to October 31.
Fossilized shark's teeth are a favorite find for beachcombers, and you'll find many among the shells. Snorkel in the clear water for sand dollars and tropical treasures. Set up your umbrella and enjoy peaceful sunsets undisturbed, away from the public beach.

Very clean home with everything you need. Grill, chairs, beach umbrella, grill, and bikes. There is even a bin full of beach toys for little ones. The beach sign does say dogs have to be leashed on beach. We will definitely be coming back.

Awesome!!! The house was everything in the description and so much more. The house was spotless and extremely cozy. Just a short walk to the beach. Collected of 40 sharks teeth and a boat load of shells. Communication was spot on. Wife and I are already talking about coming back next year. Definetly worth it!!!

Best runaway weekend I’ve ever taken. I needed to clear my mind, to rest and this LazyDay stay did exactly that, it delivered. Communication with the host was spot‑on from start to finish, quick, and super helpful. The property description—both from the host on Vrbo and from previous renters—was completely accurate. It lived up to the hype and then some. Truly the perfect mind‑clearing getaway. Everything matched expectations, and the experience was exactly what I needed.

Very nice place, great location!Well stocked with all the necessities. I’m nitpicking here but I recommend adding a full view mirror, mainly for my wife. She bought some new clothes and wanted to see how they looked. We would definitely stay here again.

The place was nice & location was good. It needed to have an easier check-in as the instructions for front & back doors were different than what was in the instructions. It would have been nice to have instructions for the TV’s. The bathrooms can use some updating & a toaster oven. Also disappointed that there weren’t 2 nice bikes to ride. Rusty & old & bike tire didn’t work. We liked that the beach was close by & could walk. Bed in primary bedroom was very comfortable & kitchen was nicely updated with washer & dryer. Overall it was good.

Perfect location. Walking distance to restaurants. So close to beach you feel like you’re on it.

it was a little house right near the beach...nice quiet neighborhood....not many people around except contractors still working to repair homes from the hurricane...had everything you would need down to the towels....enjoyed our stay at lazydays

The house has been completely renovated and is in a great location. It is easily walkable to the bars/restaurants and Stump Pass. It is a very short walk down the road to the beach and we took the provided beach chairs down to the beach for most sunsets. The only negative is that the bathroom for the queen bedroom is a long walk away from the bedroom. All and all it was great- the owners and Perry did everything they could to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

Perfect Staycation!
We wanted a local getaway and this home has an excellent location, was clean, and the owners were lovely. Highly recommend to any Floridians wanting to "escape" to the beach for a few days!

Beautiful property and adorably decorated. We only spent the night but were able to take in the beach during the day and fireworks in the evening! Great property and will definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay!
Debbie was fantastic to talk with. She kept us up to date on everything and check in was so easy. The house was perfect for our family of four, we loved all of the provided beach equipment. The house was clean and recently updated. The location was perfect and only a few stops away from the beach. We will definitely be staying here again!!!

What a great mini vacation at Lazy Days! The house absolutely fit our needs perfectly and the bonus beach toys were put to good use. The kitchen was equipped with newer appliances, and although we chose to eat out most of the time, all the cooking essentials were up to par. Having the beach right down the road was amazing. Our 14 year old got to venture out all over the key for fishing opportunities and had an amazing time making friends with the locals. We had zero issues during our stay, but I'm sure they would have been dealt with. Great communication on the front end from the owner/manager. We would definitely stay at Lazy Days again! 5 stars for sure.
