Quiet property with so many extras!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Residences in this first floor condo. Pool right off patio and parking right outside the door was convenient. We thought we would try the stay without a car however after the first walk to get groceries we realized a car would be best. We were able to get a jeep dropped off the next morning! We had great communication with the owner and property manager throughout the stay as needed. Minor issue with the sink was resolved quickly. Walking distance to the beach and then able to drive and explore the whole island-which we loved! The beach near the property did get quite busy when cruise ships were present. However so many places to explore on the island made it possible to make each day of the week special. Be sure to check out the national park. Thank you and we will be back!

Much needed holiday break

We rented this unit for a quick post-Christmas getaway and it was just what we needed. The unit was clean and super well stocked and I appreciated the owners supplying pool towels, beach chairs and coolers. And it’s a pretty quick walk to one of the prettiest stretches of Eagle Beach.

Great trip!

Our family of 5 enjoyed our quick trip to Aruba. The condo was great and perfect for the 5 of us. The beach was easy to access and the pool was great.

Family vacation

When we return to Aruba we will definitely be staying at your property, we didn't want for anything ,the rooms were very clean and well stocked for all our needs. Eagle Beach was beautiful and walk .

Quit Tropical Oasis near Eagle Beach

We had a great time staying at Sunset Residences. Our condo was spacious and well stocked. The check-in/check-out was easy. The backyard garden and pool felt like our own tropical oasis and Eagle Beach (our favorite) was just a few minutes away. Would recommend.

Absolutely no complaints!

Had a great stay with the family. Just a short walk to the beach. Very clean and quiet property. Jhoane was very accessible and answered all our questions / took care of requests promptly. It was nice having access to beach chairs and a cooler. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to others!

Would visit again!!

Our stay at Sunset Residences was really good! Quiet apartment complex with a nice pool. The condo is fully stocked and looks just like the pictures. It also was really nice to have some beach chairs and snorkels we could take to the beach. While we did drive to Baby Beach most days, it is only about a 5 min walk to eagle beach which was perfect. Would definitely book here again!

Great Stay!

My son and I came to Aruba to dive instead of hanging out on the beach all day (although the beach is only a short walk away) so this place was a perfect alternative to the "resort" experience. We were able to cook 2 out of 3 meals and just chill by the pool when not diving. Having separate bedrooms, a full kitchen (and grill) as well as a washer/dryer made for a perfect stay. Check-in was a breeze and they let us check out late when our flight was delayed. Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again on our next visit!

Wonderful experience

Property is well-located and has an amazingly warm pool. It is one of the nicer condo pools in the area. The apartment was very well stocked with everything you could want for a comfortable stay. Beach towels, chairs, cooler, and more were included. Kitchen was very well-stocked, and beds were very super comfortable. The experience felt more like we were staying in our own home, rather than imposing on someone else's. We look forward to staying there again!

Just perfect

Super nice spacious place, way above our needs for 2 people but is was nice to have such a nice place for our vacation. Quiett place, we were able to really rest, unlike in hotels where you can hear everything and have tons of people around making noise. Yet very central location with easy and quick access to everything by car (we had private parking and key to electric gate). Eagle beach is 5 minute walk. Apartment had everything and than some - beach chairs, coolers, even swim equipment. Highly recomend!

Great alternative to the resorts

We had a wonderful stay for our 10 year anniversary. The condo was very clean, comfortable, and a great quiet place to retreat from the craziness of the resort areas. It was just the two of us, but it would be nice for a small family as well. On our anniversary, the property owner sent us a bottle of wine, which was a thoughtful and personal touch. Eagle beach was about 2 blocks away and was by far the best beach to visit, which we did almost daily. We made good use of the beach chairs and cooler that were available for use as well. I would recommend renting a car as taxi fares were adding up and it’s too hot to walk everywhere during the day. It’s about 1-2 miles to the resorts with most of the typical restaurants, bars, and shopping. Some restaurants (like Zeerovers) would not be practical without a car. Parking is free and there is a reserved spot in the gated community. We would recommend this place without hesitation over the costly and crowded resorts, which provide a fraction of the amenities and flexibility we found here.

Responsive host, pleasant stay

This was our first trip to Aruba. We booked this back in March 2023 for the last week of December 2023. Elizabeth is timely and responsive and informative. We appreciated that tremendously. The place is very nice two bedroom access to the pool. We’ve done a lot of VRBO’s and this is by far the best stocked kitchen, including rice cooker, air fryer, scotch goblets too! The property manager, Pilar, met us at check-in as well as check out. It was nice to have someone we could reach out to if we had any issues. Super clean unit. we have a 10 year old and 14 year year-old so having laundry machine in the unit as well as a couple of beach chairs and a cooler was a nice added bonus. I’m glad we ended up renting a car it made getting to the grocery store easy. the unit is five minute walk to Eagle Beach. If we didn’t have a car unit is 5 minute walk to Beach. If we didn’t have a car, no problem. However, because we did have a car, it was just easier to put the chairs, cooler, stuff into the trunk and drive over. There’s always plenty of parking. For the car rental we went with Top Drive. they have an offsite location at the Manchebo Beach resort, which is a 10 minute walk from the condo - we did a three day rental in the middle of our stay and it was super convenient. And also a chance to explore the island. airport is about a 15 to 20 minute drive. We arranged a private car transfer RT. Plan to return to Aruba and would happily stay at Elizabeth’s place.

My family stay in Aruba was nothing short of amazing. The apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything I needed to feel at home. Spacious, Clean, Well Stocked

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms are bigger than they appear in the listing. Appreciated the supply of beach towels, coolers, and floaties for the beach. Kitchen well stocked and lots of towels. Master bed comfortable; beds in second bedroom were a little thin for adult use but probably fine for kids. The only issue we had was that the wifi was extremely slow but we had our mobile International service that we used instead.

Perfect location for beautiful Eagle Beach

The condo was well stocked for a relaxing vacation. Easy communication with owner and property manager. We enjoyed the location close to beautiful Eagle Beach and the dive shop. Pilar gave us great recommendations on restaurants and things to do. Easy to walk to the beach, but we often drove (with chairs and cooler provided by condo) and had no problem getting a parking spot at the beach.

Great Condo in Eagle Beach Area

We recently stayed at a condo located within a short walking distance to Eagle Beach, and it was a good experience! The property offers a shared pool and hot tub; however, during our visit, the hot tub was not any warmer than the pool.The condo is exceptionally well-stocked with extra amenities like beach chairs, floats, coolers, pool noodles, towels, and snorkel equipment, which are incredibly handy when flying into a destination. The beds were comfortable, which is always crucial when sleeping away from home, and they provided pillows in various firmness levels, which I really appreciated.The property manager, Pilar, was very friendly and helpful. We encountered a couple of snags during our stay, and she assisted us with alternative options, which we truly appreciated.Overall, our stay was delightful and we recommend this condo for its convenience and excellent amenities!

Very nice vacation spot

My family of 5 adults stayed here for a week in Jan/Feb 2025. The unit is just as presented. It was very comfortable and clean. We did not do much cooking (except for breakfast), but the kitchen was well stocked. The property manager, Pilar, was very responsive and helpful. She made excellent suggestions for visiting and dining.The location was very good. I gave it 4 stars because it is about a 10-15 min walk to the beach and the immediate area looks to be under development. However, I highly recommend this property and would definitely return. It is a very good value. Because of the location, I would recommend renting a car. The beach and several restaurants are within walking distance, but we were very happy to have the car for more exploring.

Very nice condo

Property and unit were very clean and well kept. Beach was just a 5 min walk to beautiful Eagle Beach.Pool area is very nice and quiet. Unfortunately for us the hot tub was being worked on all week. They were working hard to get it up and running. Owner and property manager were very quick to respond to our needs. We would definitely stay again

Aruba Family Vacation

Overall, we really enjoyed our time in Aruba! This VRBO worked out well for us. The location is nice because it is walking distance to Eagle Beach and other stores and activities were close as well, such as grocery stores, Aloe Factory, Butterfly Farm, ABC tours and the Hooiberg Mountain. Check in did not go as smoothly as expected, partly because our plane was delayed but also because we could not find the manager at first and then the manager's son got us into the room and said he would come back, but we never saw him the rest of the night. We were able to get the WiFi password and other answers from the neighbors, but then heard from Pilar the next day after sending a message to the owner. As far as cleanliness, it was for the most part clean but floors did not seem/feel clean and we were uncomfortable preparing food on the counters and eating from the dishes until we re-washed them. There was no all purpose disinfecting spray, so we just used dish soap for the counters and tables. We had 5 people and there were only 4 bath towels, 4 beach towels, 2 washclothes and 2 hand bath towels so needless to say we were doing a lot of laundry. The shower head shot water onto the floor the first night, so we had to use towels for that and the second to last night the air conditioner started leaking so we had to sop that up with towels as well. The pool area was wonderful and it was nice to be able to sit out back and grill out. Overall, we would stay here again.

First time visitors to Aruba

The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We found the dining area a little cramped, but enjoyed the patio area. The beach chairs and cooler came in handy. Pilar was super helpful and we were glad she was there to help with a couple of minor issues.
