A-Frame of Mind is part of the Chalets at the Lake rental properties, and is an entire space dedicated to each individual guests. Although there are neighboring chalets, A-Frame of Mind offers plenty of privacy and individual comfort.

Located on 20 acres of semi secluded West Virginia wilderness. This distinctive A-frame cabin in the chalet style is perfect for the wooded environment of the Gauley River National Recreation Area. A-Frame of Mind includes a private deck, sleeping loft, master bedroom, full bathroom, living room, full kitchen and dinette area. Free WiFi, Smart TV, gas heat, air-conditioning, gas grill, outdoor fire ring, outdoor chairs, picnic table, and 5 person hot tub is also included.

With a short drive, our guests can enjoy a multitude of outdoor recreation; including the Summersville Lake, Summersville Lake State Park, and New River George National Park.

The hot tubs need chemicals and not just water and bleach, the mold in the shower needs bleaching, and the deck on the back could definitely use some TLC , and a new mattress would definitely be nice also mowing and trimming around the cabin would be a good thought too.

Traveled up for the Gauley River release and it was perfect location to the put in of the river. The property owners were awesome and the cabin had everything we needed. Will definitely be back.

Lovely cabin in the woods.

We had a wonderful stay! Cabin was in a great location as we went to New river gorge National Park. We enjoyed the hot tub and enjoyed having our dog stay with us!

Good stay, good location

Cabin was in great shape, good location. Only thing that was not in the cabin was toilet paper which we got from the local dollar store

Birthday trip to Summerville

We loved this place and hope to be back in near future. It was Beautiful had everything we needed. It was a great trip . We are thankful that the owners allowed us to rent the Beautiful place close to every where you would want to go.

A frame of mind

Our cabin was clean and comfortable. It had all of the needed necessities and was located close to many activities. The property is beautiful too. Would recommend and stay here again.

New Years Eve

This was an awesome place to stay! We had a blast. The cabin is so close to so many attractions. The place was very clean and taken care of. The hot tub was a very good size and worked perfectly! We will definitely be back.

Great little cabin nestled up a slight gravel/dirt road. Nice and quiet with still being a short drive to literally anything. Very clean and organized!

Anniversary getaway

Although it was a short stay we had a great weekend! It was relaxing and quiet. Not too far from the local restaurants. When communicating with the property manager, it was very fast responses to my questions. We are pleased overall with our stay and would definitely book with them again!

Cozy cabin - nice escape!

We had a lovely stay at the cabin - A Frame of Mind. The place was clean and we loved the hot tub, grill and fire pit. My only recommendation would be to update the address to reflect Chalets on the Lake, as our GPS took us to the address listed and we got super lost. And potentially labeling the bin where all the pots and pans are stored - as we would have never looked there had we not asked. Overall - great stay!
