Nestled on one of Louisville’s most beloved tree-lined streets, this stunning 100-year-old gray stucco home is the perfect base for your visit to the Derby City. Located in the vibrant Douglas Loop neighborhood, you’re steps from local bakeries, ice cream shops, the farmers market, and some of Louisville’s best restaurants — this is a walker’s paradise. Churchill Downs and all the Derby excitement is just minutes away, and Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport is a quick 2.5-mile trip.
Inside, the main living areas feature rich hardwood floors, a grand wood-burning fireplace, and a sun-drenched sunroom wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows. A classic galley kitchen and dedicated dining room make gathering easy.
Upstairs, the primary suite offers a private ensuite and its own sunroom retreat. The second bedroom impresses with a California king bed and a dramatic fireplace, while the third bedroom features a cozy daybed with a pop-up trundle that converts to a full — perfect for flexible sleeping arrangements. Home was in a great location and just as described. So many walk able restaurants and on a quiet street. Lots of space for the family and had everything we needed.

Derby Weekend

This was the perfect place for the Derby. Quick drive to parking. Lots of restaurants to walk to. We loved the back porch!

Great Location and House!

The house was amazing - good size, decorated great and fantastic location. We were able to walk for coffee in the morning and walked to dinner at night. Debra, the property manager, was extremely nice and made sure we were well taken care of. Would highly recommend staying at this house.

Vintage Charm

Great location. The house was well furnished and family friendly. Walking distance to a great farmers market on Saturday and a number of good restaurants. No microwave oven which makes movie night with Microwave popcorn challenging but a minor inconvenience. I would recommend this property.

Would not stay here again because you cannot count on the host acting responsibly or fairly. The house was expensive but we accepted that the rent would be high because it was the week of the Kentucky Derby. What we did not accept was a shower the leaked into the kitchen. Unfortunately, the response from our host was completely inadequate. Would not send a plumber because only a “master plumber” would be able to address the problem despite claiming that this “has never happened before.” This resulted in a major disruption of our trip and plans (1 working shower for 6 people for 2 days of our 4-night stay). Offered only a small refund of 300 for a stay that was over 8700 including taxes and fees. The host can and should do better for her guests.

Super location Easy to get anywhere. Quiet residential neighborhood good for morning walks & several blocks from restaurants & grocery store Debra was responsive to our request & suggestions. Hoping coffee maker is updated for next visitors.

Perfect

The perfect home for a family visit! Very comfortable home. Neat, clean, and charming! Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were very comfy. Back porch was an oasis and the back yard a charming garden. It was perfect for our toddlers & adults. We will return! Close to Tesla super charger. Debra is an excellent communicator.
