Cozy Cottage in Historic Lewes Delaware

This small cottage is perfect for two adults, a great romantic getaway. The Cottage is not good for tall people - you need to watch your head on the stairs and on the top of the door between the kitchen and the main room. Upstairs is one queen bed, and a small bathroom, downstairs is the main room, small kitchen, and bathroom. The Cottage is surrounded by beautiful gardens and is very charming with its own outdoor eating terrace. The owner's house is also on the property. The cottage is not suitable for children or animals, it is compact and has a small refrigerator. It is an easy walk, 6 blocks, into the historic town of Lewes, and there are plenty of great and varied restaurants nearby. The beach is a five minute car ride or an 18 minute walk. TV and Wi-Fi are provided.
The Cottage is on King's Highway so there is some noise from the road - a white noise sleep machine is provided.

We absolutely loved the charming cottage and the location! Close to the beach and shopping. The cottage had every amenity. So so picturesque and comfy! We would love to come back and stay longer next time!

The locaction for this adorable cottage was perfect. It's an easy walk to the shops & restaurants in Lewes. It is stocked with everything you need & the owner provided plenty of information on the beaches and the surrounding area. The only drawback were the stairs up to the bedroom. We both banged our heads going up the stairs on the slanted ceiling.

Amazing location! Within walking distance of lots of good restaurants, the museums and the bike trail. Beautiful, peaceful garden in the yard. The stairs up to the bedroom loft are narrow with a low ceiling so may be difficult for those who have trouble walking or need more room.

This property is indeed cozy, lovely and the perfect place to stay. Facilities such as beaches, stores, vendors, sights, downtown areas and restaurants are incredibly convenient. This is a place to happily return and I look forward to doing so.

Host was very easy to work with, was timely in responding and helpful in answering questions and offering wonderful local suggestions! The cozy cottage was exactly that...cozy and cute and very clean and just what we needed! Very walkable to several tasty restaurants, cute shops and docks. Loved it, would love to go again and definitely will recommend to others!

We love the cottage and look forward to our visit every summer. It’s cozy and perfect for a couple, and so nicely situated. And it’s great looking out onto that beautiful garden.

Very cozy cottage. Very clean and jydt enough for 2 people wanting to stay a few days in Lewes. Easy checkin/out. Gardens surrounding property a real bonus. Convient to shops and restaurants.

Peaceful Weekend Getaway

Had an amazing and relaxing weekend in Lewes! House was perfect, clean, and in the best location. We were close to local restaurants , shops, and beaches and went everywhere by foot! Cottage was exactly as expected and we hope to visit again soon!
